Caitlin Fairchild	Caitlin Fairchild Is nervous soo very nervous the extremely tall girl fidgets in her seat a bit. She double checks her outfit in a conservative dress cut slightly a tight blouse (Find one her size is a nightmare ), She opens a case to check her hair again having pulled it into a ponytail. She sighs "I miss my glasses".
Karen Starr	This is where Karen walks her way into the waiting room. It's a very bland sort of room, but Karen is the only one that walks in. It's like it's a forgotten part of the ward, or something. "Miss....Fairchild...am I right?" She says looking at an open folder.
Caitlin Fairchild	Caitlin Fairchild Brushes her hair back a stray hair that only makes her look better but to her, it's annoying as hell " Yes that's right " she says sitting up straighter without thinking. She places her hand's on top of the desk. She swallows a few times looking over the lady who comes into the room her mind already starting to go a thousand miles an hr.
Karen Starr	Karen looks up to Caitlin and tilts her head. "All right. I understand you want to come and work here. What did you do before you came here? And what was your speciality? if it was in a science field."
Caitlin Fairchild	Caitlin Fairchild Nods her head as she pushes up her glasses " Right well umm as you can see I was part of the military right out of school well before that but I finished my Ph.D.'s while there". She chews her lower lip a little bit " But I have several specialties but I'd say I'm most knowledgable about Genetics and alien dna and human hybridization as well as technologies " She rubs the back of her neck trying to get the awkward feeling out " It's on my resume but I have phd's in Computer science and electrical engineering, general science, genetics, and chemistry, as well as a minor in psychology. "
Karen Starr	"Huh. Regular know-it-all, huh?" Karen says without looking up...and starts to walk. "have you put those Ph.Ds to practical use yet?" She then flips a page.
Caitlin Fairchild	Caitlin Fairchild Turns pink when she's told that and looks down " Iike to learn " she quickly stands up showing off her well incredible hight she's after all 6ft 5 not a lot of girls let alone men that tall. She starts to follow along but behind her "Yes but it's all top secret projects I can't talk about other than to say yes I used it".
Karen Starr	"Oh yeah, the ole 'need to know and I don't need to know' thing. Gee...I haven't heard that before." Karen seems to be walking towards one of the labs. Karen is rather tall, but she's also a little hunched over, like a typical 'nerd type'. She even has glasses and a lab coat. However, she does let out a breath. "You're gonna have to tell me about something, or else I don't really have a basis on which to hire you on." She says looking up to Caitlin. "That's like saying 'I have a PH.D but I can't show you the paper I wrote cuz it's confidential'. So...you have to give me 'something' to work with."
Caitlin Fairchild	Caitlin Fairchild Frowns and thinks really really fast before she blinks " Wait I have this " she Takes out of her purse well what looks like a Diamond shaped, clearly alien device " I managed to fix it enough to enable the scan function on it.. I'm still trying to decrypt the language.. but I managed to crack the DNA left over on it.. that's how I tricked it to think I'm one of the race.. they seems to be Copper based".
Karen Starr	"Copper Based." Karen then looks at the crystal herself, but doesn't touch it. "What do you think it is?" Karen makes sure not to use her X-ray vision as well.
Caitlin Fairchild	Caitlin Fairchild Thinks for a moment " So far a probe .. Like I said I managed to repair a scan function that seems to respond to certain levels of technology. " . She looks it over " But Not sure if it has other more dangerous functions just yet as my equipment is rather limited " .
Karen Starr	"All right. I'll tell you what. you'll start of working under me if you're here. And your first job here...is to figure that out." Karen says pointing to the gem. "Just......don't blow up the lab. Okay? You'll make me very unhappy."
Caitlin Fairchild	Caitlin Fairchild Blinks and swallows " Yes mam, " She says as polite as she can since she doesn't know her name yet. Even as she makes it sure that if this thing explodes she's gonna grab it to keep it from wrecking the lab and getting her fired.
Karen Starr	Karen walks over to Caitlin and taps her on the shoulder. "Put on your goggles...and wear this." She holds up a lab coat. "And I am Karen Starr. I'll be your boss here. Before you do anything, you have to get my approval."
Caitlin Fairchild	Caitlin Fairchild Blinks and quickly grabs the items and puts them on " Oh wow already in my size I'm impressed " she says brightly " It's hard to shop for this " she points to herself as she beasm a bright smile super excited.. she even claps a little before she looks down " thank you "
Karen Starr	"I want regular written reports....and if you make a breakthrough...let me know. I'll be checking on you regularly, Miss Fairchild." She says as she walks out of the immediate lab area....before she looks at the device with her x-ray vision from the other side of the wall......
Caitlin Fairchild	Caitlin Fairchild Soon as she's out of the room she does a little dance and smiles then frowns .. She quickly moves to send a text while Karen is still looking < I got the job.. only issue is now I have to choose between lexcorp and starr labs.. what do you think hun? >
Karen Starr	Karen blinks at Caitlin's text...as she's sending it. "Mmm....wonder who she's texting...." Clearly....a question to be asked at another time....
