Owner Pose
Jennifer Walters After visiting the Training Room to give Thor a hard time, She-Hulk makes her way back upstairs. Finger trailing along the wall as she has fond memories of her time as a member of the Avengers, and living within this mansion. She smiles, taking the stairs two at a time with her long strides, emerging on the top floor and making her way down to the room of one Bruce Banner. Or as Jennifer knows him?

"Cousin!" she exclaims when she gets to the doorway, holding out arms out and pretty much just hoping that Bruce is in his room and she isn't wasting this grand entrance.

Jennifer's wearing a pair of jeans and has a sweater pulled over her torso. As usual, it fits her snuggly enough to show off the figure that she's rather proud of. The clothing special made in most cases to fit her 6'7" - but feminine - frame.
Bruce Banner     Bruce Banner was in Avengers Mansion after discovering himself on the beach, oceanside, ripped clothing and all...again. Struggling with the temperatures and the distance back to civilization, Bruce had finally made it back to the Mansion. Coming out of the shower, scrubbing the sea water and salt off his body, Bruce hears the excalamation at his door! "Just a second!" Bruce grabs for his new set of clothes that he had put on the bed.

Getting himself dressed, Bruce finally buttons up his shirt, cinches the belt on his pants, and throws his socks on before opening the door. Using the towel to rub out some of the water from his hair, Bruce smiles, and says, "Jennifer! What brings you here? It is good to see you!"
Jennifer Walters She-Hulk walks into the room with her confident sashaying stride, moving over to her cousin to give Bruce a big hug. She picks him up off the ground if allowed, and swings him from side to side as she laughs while giving the exaggerated greeting. "I'm back. Case I was trying out in California concluded. Won the appeal," she tells him, setting Bruce back down on his feet.

"Aren't you a sight for sore eyes. Looking a little older though," she says with a grin that suggests she's making that up. "So it looks like you haven't broke the city while I was away. Any Hulk-out incidents lately?" she asks him. "And how's things going with the Avengers? Have you settled in nicely with the current roster?" she asks.
Bruce Banner     Taking his towel and tossing it over the chair nearby, Bruce runs his right hand through his hair in a vain attempt to try to bring some semblance of order to it. Shrugging, knowing he failed miserably, Bruce gives up. After all, it was his cousin. No need to stand on ceremony with her after all.

As Jennifer grabs him in a hug, Bruce flinches at first, and then relents, as she picks him up off the ground! "That is good!" Bruce says, barely able to breathe. Glad you won..." As he gets placed back on his feet, he tries the hand through hair again, and shakes his head, sheepish grin and all.

"I see you haven't changed." Bruce says, after her "looking older" shot. Looking away, Bruce says, "Yeah...just recently. It's okay. I didn't break anything, although I think I lost someone. A good person." Shrugging, he waves her to the furniture, if she wants.

"Sorry I don't have anything to eat or drink. Jarvis can get us something if you want." Maneuvering towards a chair, Bruce says, "Avengers are good. Haven't done too much with them. They seem to be busy lately, and I haven't been asked to participate. I expect because of...well...you know."
Jennifer Walters She-Hulk moves over to take a seat as she listens to Bruce. "The Avengers I knew, yes they will ask if someone's particular skills are needed. But mostly, just need to jump in there when something needs doing. I don't have access to everything going on. I don't think," she says, pausing to wonder just how much access she does have left. She shakes her head and leaves that question to be answered later, going on. "But I imagine there's plenty of stuff happening that can use that great big beautiful brain of yours," she tells him, grinning.

Jennifer crosses her legs as she leans back in the chair. Her grin slides away then and her expression grows more gentle and sympathetic. As does She-Hulk's voice as she says, "Tell me about it? The person you lost?" she asks her cousin gently.
Bruce Banner     "That is good. I am sure your skills are most likely to be needed soon. And I don't mean your muscles. You are an amazing lawyer, and I expect the team will need you sooner or later. Who knows what could happen tomorrow?"

Smiling at her compliment, Bruce says, "Well, the team has no shortage of "big brains" and I come with a caveat, so I expect that Stark and T'Challa and the others can skip me. I don't mind, I understand what is going on. If they truly need me, they will ask." Grabbing his towel, he tosses it on the bed so he can sit down.

"Just this woman on an expedition. She was...nice. I respected her. We discovered this under sea alien craft, and, well...it was destroyed. She was on it. Me, I was lucky. I "Hulk'd" out, but I couldn't find her...so tragic. She was smart, and..." His eyes look at Jennifer, and he blushes, just a touch. "Well, anyway. Thank you for visiting me. It is nice to have company."
Jennifer Walters She-Hulk reaches over, gently squeezing Bruce's shoulder. "Was that the thing in the papers? The... Pacific Ocean threat. SHIELD and everything? I didn't see you mentioned in it, I guess they kept that part hush hush? Sounds like it was a risk though if you hadn't dealt with it," she tells him.

"It's tough, this life we lead," Jennifer tells him, nodding her head slowly. "Losing people... no matter what we do, it happens sooner or later," she says. "I'm glad you made it out though. You could have been sucked through that portal thing or... god knows what," she tells him.
Bruce Banner     "Yeah, it was. In the papers I expect. SHIELD was there, but I think I slipped their net. Heard even Fury himself might be there, and I owe him a cigar, so I didn't bother checking in. I'm surprised he hasn't come calling to ask me what happened...yet." Bruce trails off for a minute, deep in thought. "A risk? Naw, I didn't do anything. Not really. Too bad..."

Glad that Jennifer was there for him, Bruce decides to change the subject. "So. Back to doing super hero work, or still saving everyone from miscarriages of Justice? Bruce smiles.
Jennifer Walters "Both. I'm back at the law firm, in the superhero division," she tells him. "Though if you Avengers need my help, just call me. I'm always willing to come back and help out," She-Hulk tells her cousin. "I'm still making the rounds here, saying hello to everyone again. Just saw Thor," she tells him.

Beat.

"No, we didn't," she tells him with a wink. "Though don't think I didn't want to," she says of the Avenger she's shared moments with in the past. They worked, somehow. "Speaking of, I'll go jet and let you... really Bruce, do something with that hair," she teases. She waves and back out into the hall, giving him a green-eyed wink before walking off.
