Tygra Culver. The forested areas around Cat's Lair mysteriously appear to be growing more... lush? Perhaps this is due to the Thundercats presence the past few weeks perhaps not. Maybe it is simply a good year. Then again maybe the Ro-Bear-Berbils don't yet understand they can't just start terraforming Earth like it's New Thundera. Thats just Berbils for you though. They're all about improving nature and life in general.

Cat's Lair is coming along quickly, by human standards supernaturally quick. Welcome to the magic of an advanced people though.

Tygra stands with hands on hips looking proudly up at the giant structure marveling at all of their hard work. It's getting close to sundown, they won't have a lot of it to work with but that just means more for tomorrow!

This area of Culver is the scattered and largest location for most of the planetfall, the Flagships major touchdownpoints all across the Northeastern United States, it is no small wonder or surprise that Pumyra will find herself in a suspension capsule being drug across the dirt by a loud roaring beast, no not a beast a machine, cracks of what may be fireworks or gunshots? And a bunch of pinkskinned humanoids hopping around. More cracks and gunshots. The locals of this new planet she is waking up on. Without her translator they're just hooting and haulering jibberish.

Back at the Cat's Lair... the Thundercats can hear the far away gun shots. It's not something unusal around these parts, hunters come out here but this is a lot of them in chorus.
"Strange." Tygra mumbles but doesn't go after it.

A Berbil seconds after the gunshots comes running in to the clear, robot-fuzzy paws waving around rapidly. It is panicked and not speaking in anything but Berbil jibberish (how annoying).
Panthro Panthro, unfortunately, also speaks Berbil. The downside of integrating the translator. It doesn't help in this case.

He waves a hand, "Woah. WOAH. Slow down. There's a what with a which where?"

It sounded for a second like they said there was a monkian drag-racer stealing a vase full of plumes. That makes NO sense.
Lion-O Lion-O approaches Panthro, smiling. "You are glowing with pride, brother. Maybe we can cut some corners and simply hang you from the ceiling over the meeting room to save on power consumption." He puts a hand on Tygra's shoulder and looks at the work. "It is coming along magnificently. You-"

He is interrupted by the Berborrage coming from the Berbil. Relying on Panthro to translate... he sighs. That was always an issue with the Berbils: when they got excited, it was almost impossible to faithfully decode them.

He draws the sword of Omens just at the very moment that its own eye flashes white, emitting a low growl. The lion arches an eyebrow, he almost never manages to anticipate the sword's premonitions. "Sword of Omens, give me sight beyond sight!" He says, as the guard of the sword curls in its customary manner. He stares.
WilyKat For now, the adults are the only ones around Cat's Lair. Both WilyKat and WilyKit have been off hoverboarding around again. They've done a lot of that since their new home was set up, good for scouting, good for stealth, good for speed.

As it turns out, some of the noise in the area had drawn their attention.

"Kat? What do you think that is?" wondered WilyKit.

"I don't know, Kit. Let's go check it out," answered WilyKat.

What they saw caused both of them to rush back to Cat's Lair as fast as their boards could carry them. In case anyone was wondering, that's pretty fast.

The Wilys, now of a similar age to the others (except Panthro) but still a bit behind when it comes to maturity, are a jumble of words and gestures, pointing back from whence they came. In unison, they say, "Lion-O! Everybody! We saw a.."

The Sword of Omens is filling in that blank as both of them cut off when they see the Lord of the Thundercats doing his thing.
Pumyra
Escape.

Sleep.

The sounds of.... war?

A battered gasp of air and fawn hair is gripped as she is mad-dashing grips for everything, making sure there is reality still. Everythng in its right place. Bola, the cord lashed around her waist...

But when she grips along her wrist her lips are already peeling away from teeth where canines are a bit more honed than the rest. A roll back of shoulders and the launcher is *clicked* into //triggered// and a foot beats at the pods opening, boot-heel planting and hammering until it opens...

or she nudges the eject button >.>.

Either way, once opened pUmyra is leaping from the pod that is being drug along in a backwoods mudding session, landing on the bed of the truck and shaking her head, the flurry of fawn and platinum cast around her face before she seeks to -react-!
Tygra Over the river, through the trees...

They call it 'mudbogging' when their trucks, jeeps and jacked up automobiles, overloud and obnoxious as they already are get to track through the wilderness, run over wildlife, plants, natural beauty and storm around like maniacs.

Lion-O sees it. Just as he sees the suspension capsule being hauled around behind one of the higher trucks, the thing almost classified as a monster truck and inside of it is the blurry image of a Thunderian. The capsule itself is Thunderian. Wily and the Berbils have already tried to express this though.

The Berbil to Panthro tries again but, Berbil Buzz is just not the most sophisticated speaker. He actually in some odd personal quirk actually sounds like he is slobbering constantly as he talks which is bizarre as Ro-Bear-Berbils don't produce saliva.

"Yes, Panthro, I and the berbils are making amazing... " Tygra is cut off. He doesn't even get to do the 80's esque posturing they're so prone to before they're on the run, chasing through the woods at a brisk superhuman pace. They're Thundercats after all.

"What did you see, brother?"
Panthro "Thanks, Berbil Billy-Bob. I'll get back to you," Panthro says, before he tears out like a tank with jets instead of tracks. For not the first time, he wishes he could get away with building a hoverboard himself. Instead, he signals the ThunderTank to start up and meet them on the other side of the river. Because it would make sense that it be here where everyone is, and we can't have //that// can we?

"I've called the ThunderTank! It'll rendevous with us when we cross the river!"

Note. He could just as easily have had it meet on THIS side of the river. Panthro ... wants a quick swim?
Lion-O "One of ours, still pod-bound." Lion-O is running by his brother, sword sheathed into the claw shield. It wouldn't do right to come in, swinging the sword without first trying to neutralize the situation. "We will need to distract the aggressors and to rescue our kin. Brother, we will have need of your invisibility- When Panthro comes with the tank we will need to disable their vehicle. WilyKat..." he jumps over a downed log, "hover by the treetops. It sounds like they have weapons, so make yourself hard to hit, but visible enough to attract their attention." The kitten had grown up. Now it was time to give him a little more responsibility. Just a little more.
Pumyra
Pumyra does not care what it is called. Nor what they are saying.

Alien pinky-mouse creatures! No touchy!

One is hefted off the truck and landing asshole over elbow in opposing drection of the truck. Another is lowering a rifle that a clawed grip catches in the crook of thumb and index to shove skyward as it explodes, using the kick-back and momentum he is half-way through the trucks window and part of him is riding passenger to the driver while he flails to unseat himself from the window-op!

Whipcord is drawn with a //snap!// and Pumyra s climbing from bed to roof of the truck like a surfer as she still blinks away the haze of waking and where the heck she is?!?
WilyKat As it's revealed that there is, in fact, another stasis pod out there, WilyKat wonders, "But who could it be? We're already all here!" They're just going to have to find out, aren't they?

After getting instructions from Lion-O, Kat (and Kit, who sticks with him) set out on their boards without waiting on the Thundertank. Who knows how much time has gone by since they spotted the group on the go? There'd been no movement from the pod itself that they could see, and there wasn't enough time to get a good look at who was inside it.

Soon, they'd arrive. Will it be in time to draw attention?
Tygra "One of ours!?" Tygra exclaims as they cross over the river. He lands with an *umfph* on the ThunderTank as Panthro had designated. He will latch on to it as they ride. Lion-O can ride shotgun. It's his Kingly right or some nonsense after all.

Pumyra is causing mayhem on the 'party animals' they're all drunk and starting to scramble, the two vehicles that were driving in figure 8s still moving, she is bouncing around on the truck bed that has her pod attached to it by a pulley and cord. Its just bouncing along crunching against the environment. Trees, rocks, stumps. Good thing she woke up and got out of it.

The gibberish they fire at Pumyra feels like it should almost be familiar but it is not. It is quite simply English gibberish to alien ears.

WilyKat can count about eleven humans in various locations, only four of them have guns out. Though one is lugging around a wood axe and another has a hunting crossow. If they actually intend to use them or not has yet to be seen. Maybe the incoming Thundertank and Thunderians will put those notions to rest.
Not a single one of them has seen WilyKat yet. They are all fixated on Pumyra and their own hijinks. Most of them so drunk they haven't even noticed she climbed free and started laying some Cat-Fu down.
Panthro Panthro reaches the other side of the river JUST as the ThunderTank gets to him, and does that forward tuck-and-roll flip to land in the cockpit. (It's a mecha thing. It's like someone somewhere doesn't think that just sitting down into a seat like a civilized being is dramatic enough.)

The T-Tank roars into action, literally, as it bears down on the mayhem and bad automotive mud-race-elling.
Lion-O Lion-O does ride shotgun, but he remains in the vehicle until they arrive to the center of the action, whereupon he leaps out and draws the sword. He quickly scans the area, and identifies the location of the missing Thunderan- his battle instincts click and he is drawing the Sword of Omens, extending its blade in order to shoot beams of ice at the nearest of the weapons that are leveled against the refugee- to those who have raised weapons. He trusts his family to operate as one, so he does not reiterate his original instructions.
WilyKat As they arrive back on the scene, WilyKat tells his sister, "I'll draw their attention. You stay safe, and hide if you have to." She begins to protest, clearly wanting to be by his side, but he shakes his head. "If I get in any trouble, I'll need you to save me. They'll think it's just me and you'll be able to surprise them."

When it comes to strategizing, at least in this case, he's acting more the age he looks to be. There's a specific thing for him to focus on, which helps. That, and Lion-O gave him an important task.

Gaining speed, WilyKat closes the gap on the mudders or whatever they are, and as he appears over a treetop he descends toward the ground while giving a cat-call. He calls out to them. He's a cat. Just go with it.

"Hey, you! Yeah, you! Watch this!" As he leaps off the hoverboard, its momentum and speed keeping it going, the claws of his Flank arc out toward a tree branch. The wire wraps around it securely and he swings up to perch there just long enough to make a silly face at them. "Come on! Who's up for a little target practice? Hit me if you can!"

The Flank having retracted back to its rolled-up state, WilyKat leaps into a forward flip to land on the hoverboard again, still in motion.
Cheetara     Just as the humans without frozen weapons start to shift the weapons to point at Wilykat, everyone might catch a glimps of an amber colored blur.....and one of the weapons YANKED from a human's hand, to have it rammed into the face of another.

Only for Cheetara to stop close to the humans with their weapons iced over. "This hardly seems fair. For them I mean."
Pumyra
While an ASS rides shotgun...

The truck bounces, //careens!//, and the counterpart is yanked out by the nape of his neck, Thunderian growled at him as she points him like a ragdoll at the scenery - but asking questions after she beat him into submission and left his oxers exposed thrugh glass-tears in denim!

"Where am I?"
     "Who are you??"

Vas ist das???
"What is....?!?" And here they come... the **Others**.

The puppeted pinky is dropped like a sack of potatoes into the bed of the truck and a corner of her lip twitches... A corner of eye.
     She wants to cry...

But then again she wants to make them feel her pain!

A flare of nostrils and with a pivot upon heel she is gripping the careening driver by his nape.

**Honk**
     **HONK!**
          //Ho-o-o-n-kkkkk!!!//

The driver is sent to a word f happysleepy if he does not fight back! The truck careening..
Tygra The locals are not exactly prepared to nor the sort who want to fight back. These are Thundercats. A warrior-people and on the other side we have WWE fanboys as an extent of their fighting prowess.

RUN
That is the option employed by them all, especially when the ThunderTank growls in to proximity. They've all heard the circulating stories around Culver and now they know it's real. Cat People. Cat People are invading Connecticut. Now they have stories to go back and tell the others. They might even consider the hoverboards UFOs.

TYgra materializes by the one with a crossbow, snatching it out of his hands. "Shoo, we mean you no harm just go."

The man doesn't even cry out he just backs away slowlly.

The truck is even abandoned.

"Thats enough! Do not hurt them..." Not to his fellow Thundercats but to the Thunderian newcomer. Who he feels is familiar and is hoping it's just the dusk lighting. That it is not indeed Pumyra. It could be another?
Panthro Ancient Spirits of Evil Whiskers. That's Pumyra. Panthro calls out, "Hey. I thought the old bag of bones killed you."

Because that's what it looked like to him. But he also did notice her handing things over ... maybe she was mind controlled, maybe she wasn't. Panthro's not going to waste the chance to get her talking. Maybe even monologuing.
Lion-O Lion-O stands very still as the Thundercats take control of the situation and send the humans fleeing. This will require some minor diplomatic channels if the humas decide to report them. But that isn't important right now.

What's important is that he is beginning to recognize their fellow Thunderian.

He starts moving forward, Sword of Omens in hand but not raised to strike. "Enough!" he barks at the Thunderian to get her attention. The tone of voice in which he says it may shatter Tygra's hopes at happy self-delusion. Lion-O's expression is hard to read, but his eyes are sharp and extremely focused.
WilyKat "What?!" By now, WilyKit has come out of hiding and joined WilyKat as both of them circle back around as the others do their part to ensure the losers are going to bail. The incredulous question is asked by both of them at the same time as they stare, wide-eyed and slack-jawed, at none other than Pumyra.

Then, they both point at her. "It's the traitor!" The accusation is made in unison, but it's WilyKat who steps off his hoverboard and moves a step closer. "You helped cause this! You helped Mumm-Ra take over!"

Both of them are dressed like she last saw them, only they've grown considerably.
Cheetara     It's right about that time, Cheetara slows her assault next to the Thundertank. She recognized Pumyra, but didn't say a word. At least...not at that time.
Pumyra
The palmed head of the 'Pinky' is lofted like a basketball, the truck unmanned now as every pommel causes horn to honk and the wheel left unattended save by the smear of crashing face to wheel ratio.

//"You do not shoot at me mere alien soft....!"// Thunderian ROARING from her lips as she agresses the address of assault and then stops with the roar of Lion-O that brings her minds-eye to suddenly fast-forward as captur the blur of Cheetara, the halt of Tygra, the words of Panthro, the Kit n' Kat...
     Blink-blink.

The truck is suddenly turning, sod kicked up, wheels burrowing into the earthen ground as the end spins around, free of weight (now) save the half-draw of the driver pulled out the back window as the vehicle spins into uncontrolled....

Roll!!

Alacrity has her tugging the body from the metal stone-aged vehicle as it rolls and //crunches// like a soda can pressed into motion beneath a foot.

But Pumyra lands upon the balls of feet with the (now) unconcious Pinky in her grip, setting him before her like an offering, (sacrifice?), or a wall of the line of accusatory and stunned fellow Thunderians.

"They startled me." A poke of clawed finger into the drivers shoulder. "He breathes."

Accusations, stares, threats? Seemingly unheard...
Tygra The clearing is empty of the natives or 'Pinkys' as Pumyra is referring to them, save a couple injured or unconscious. The one who has gotten it the worst is the most recent who, yes is breathing but terrified.

"Pumyra." Tygra is almost growling, "This really doesn't need to be an I told you so moment... but... " He did, he always had a small issue with Pumyra. Instinct probably.

"If you're here where are the mutants and Mumm-Ra?! By Jaga..."
Panthro "Chill, Tygra. That's a Thunderian pod, not Mutant design," Panthro says. "You survived somehow? Got to your own escape vessel?"

The melanistic jaguar goes over to the pod, and with an effort, pulls it over to where the ThunderTank's manipulator arm can grab it. Yes, he does intend to check the flight records. You don't even need to ASK.
Lion-O Lion-O steps forward and doesn't look at Pumyra. Or, at least, it seems that he doesn't. His eyes are on the 'pinky' that Pumyra has laid out.

He kneels down and clicks his translator on, and then bats at the man's face gently until he starts coming to.

What? Cats know how to do that. It's an actual technique.

"You and your associates startled one of my people. We mean you no harm, but she clearly believed that you did. You may go in peace." His tone is stern, but not aggressive. And his feline eyes remain fixed on the man's own in a tacit 'do we understand each other?'.

It doesn't take long for the man to scamper away and find his own way out. Lion-O doesn't look at him as he stands up from his crouch.

His eyes are focused on Pumyra.

"Pumyra."

The voice speaks her name, but the tone of voice sounds closer to 'Whiskers' than anything else. Still, his facial expression remains neutral, with the calculating neutrality of a king surveying a subject. His eyes flit briefly to Cheetara and then to Tygra. As WilyKat steps forward with his accusation, he puts a heavy paw on the younger cat, but not reproachfully.
WilyKat Both the tails of Kat and Kit are rigid, and it isn't because they've got into a stash of candy fruit. That would be infinitely better for the Thundercats to deal with than coming face to face with Pumyra again. While Lion-O does his thing with the one who lacks fur, WilyKat's attention doesn't leave Pumyra for one moment. Even his sister tries to coax him back a step or two.

Then Lion-O's there, along with his hand. "You're going to do the right thing, aren't you?" he asks of him, looking up at him hopefully. But, what if his idea of the 'right' thing is different from Lion-O's? It shouldn't be hard to guess his position, considering the immediate labeling of her as the traitor.
Tygra "Warm, Panthro." It's clear who of the two is spending more time among the humans. "That doesn't mean a thing, what if they're trying to trick us or did we forget thats what she does? She is in league with our enemies. She is no Thunderian." Tygra huffs. "Yes. The right thing." Tygra turns away with a glare. Arms folded over his chest.

Pumyra flicks a fast smile towards Tygra's back, a cold look falls upon WilyKat and the others get the impassive unreadable stare. "I am alone. I was only defending myself. If you all intend to interrogate me at least take me someplace more comfor---" Pumyra's eyes glaze over and she topples. A face first *FUT* in to the muddy ground. Blood pooling from underneath her.
It would appear she got a nice hipload of buckshot. Maybe also across the stomach.
Lion-O "If Thundera is to survive, we must observe the code." Lion-O speaks, clearly holding his temper back. The surge of anger that came over him the moment he saw the traitor. "She will be given an opportunity to answer for her actions, and put herself at the mercy of the code. For the time being, though, she is still of Thundera, even if she rejects it." He lifts his chin slightly. "Let's take her back and let her wounds be tended to. Then she will be watched until she is well enough to answer our questions." He looks at Tygra, expecting to find biting disapproval in his brother's eyes.
Panthro The pod ... locked against the side of the ThunderTank. Panthro lets the ones who know about healing deal with Pumyra, because they need to feel useful. In fact...

"Anyone who feels like they have free time, just keep her from bleeding out or getting infected by the weird germs from this planet. I need to get us home without being stopped by their local peace-forcers."

The ThunderTank shimmmers a bit. The camouflage field may not be as good as some people's gifts, but it'll do until they reach one of the underground garage entrances.

"If she DOES bleed out inside my tank, you guys are going to scrub the blood out by hand."
WilyKat WilyKat meets Pumyra's cold look with one of his own. It might be the first time they've ever seen him looking this way, overly serious and filled with a lust for revenge. He hardly even flinches when the shotgun wound is revealed, the puma going down hard as a result.

"We should--" But WilyKit grabs him by the hand as Lion-O declares how it will be. On their home planet or not, this is tearing him up inside. "She..she already rejected the code before," he claims, having slipped free of the king's hand at his shoulder.

WilyKit almost drags her brother away. "We're going back home. Come /on,/ Kat," she urges, nodding to the hoverboards. With a low sound in the back of his throat, WilyKat nods once and gets back on the board, refusing to even look at Pumyra before he coasts back toward Cat's Lair, gaining speed rapidly as Kit keeps pace with him.

At least he didn't say 'Whiskers' this time.
Tygra Tygra's back is still turned so any withering glances he has to give Lion-O don't transfer. With a rueful sigh he is stomping over to kneel down and put a hand down on the wound, "I will tend to this and then I will find the closest thing resembling a cell in Cat's Lairs right now. We haven't gotten that far in to construction yet. Maybe we can chain her up with the Burglenots."

"Lets just get this on with. For Thundera and our King... and the Wilys are not wrong in this, she rejected the code. She betrayed you personally...." The dry tone says a plenty for Tygra and he stops himself there. It is time for him to revert to brooding silence for a while.
