Nuala     Nuala was already processing how much time it would take for responses. There in the guest quarters of a bounty hunter's space ship, one of the most important questions of her life was just asked, and she almost missed it.

Did she want to join the Blue Lanterns.

"I will contact Dad, he'll get ahold of command, and-" She was heading for the door, determined on the course of action. She suddenly froze, hand near the door, and she turned around. "Wait, what did you just say?" she asks, turning around, a look of confusion on her face.
Suzanne Reinhardt     Suzanne looked to Nuala with a completely straight face and repeats. "Do you want to join the Blue Lanterns?" She was sincere about it.
Nuala     Nuala's expression seems frozen for several seconds. "I'm just a Halal agent," she says. "You need people a lot more impressive than me to be a Blue Lantern." She stares another few moments. "You are serious?" Of course she's serious, but still, the unexpectedness of the question, especially at this moment, seems to have caught her remarkably off guard.
Suzanne Reinhardt     "I am serious, Nuala. And a binary answer will do. yes or no." Suzanne says with a sigh.
Nuala     Nuala shakes her head-no nods her head. "Yes." She laughs shortly, "Yes." I cannot imagine something I would love more in all of my life."
Suzanne Reinhardt     As soon as Nuala says yes the first time.....Bubble barrier is erect around the both of them and Suzanne's ring is shining brightly. "That is the reason why I've been with you all of this time. Hope must never leave you, Nuala. Hope is your power and your life." She then smiles....a genuine smile that Nuala could find beautiful. "I had hoped you would say yes, Nuala, for you have been working as a Blue Lantern ever since I met you....in all but name.

She then takes a deep breath.....and closes her eyes.
Nuala     Nuala doesn't flinch as the bubble comes around her. "I only ever could dream of such a thing when I was a little girl," she confesses. A brighter smile has never crossed her own face, mirroring Suzanne's own, and she looks around at the blue cocoon.
Suzanne Reinhardt     Suzanne doesn't reply, but she stands there motionless for a few seconds....before a blue glowing orb appears between them. It's a bright glow as well, so it illuminates the both of them. So much so that they can no longer see outside of the 'bubble' Suzanne has erected. But Nuala CAN see into the glow.....and it's a blue lantern ring.

When it emerges in front of Nuala, she can hear a voice....an echoing voice that would be pleasing for Nuala to hear.

'You are capable of great hope, Nuala. Reach out for hope, and welcome to the Blue Lanterns.'
Nuala     Nuala's blue eyes look bluer than they ever have, and she stares into the brilliant glow. She reaches out, an overhand clasp with her left hand. As the ring senses and moves toward her hand, the ring slipping onto her middle finger. She doesn't need to be told the oath. She knows this oath, though she's never spoken it in its true capacity.

"In frightful day, in raging night,
With strong hearts full, our souls ignite.
When all seems lost without the light,
Look too the stars, for hope burns bright."
Suzanne Reinhardt     Suzanne grins at Nuala as she speaks the oath without prompting....and the uniform cascades over Nuala's body. Suzanne lifts her ring and dons her own uniform. "Welcome to the Blue Lanterns....SISTER Nuala. I, Sister Reinhardt, welcome you....with all of my heart." And she steps forward to hug Nuala around the shoulders.
Nuala     Nuala is not a hugger. Well, under normal circumstances. She doesn't hug half way today. Her arms wrap around Suzanne's, squeezing far tighter than might be normally appropriate. She laughs, and a tear strays down her left cheek. "Sister Reinhardt," she echoes. "Thank you. Thank you so much." Her voice is not quite steady, overcome by the emotion of the moment. The normally docile and controlled Nuala is only barely maintaining her composure.
Suzanne Reinhardt     "You're welcome, Sister. For now though, you'll stay with me, as I teach you how to use the ring. It does require a bit of willpower to use." Suzanne then chuckles. "I also have people for you to meet. But, for now. I think Virek will need to realize that the Nova corp is not his personal army."
