Owner Pose
Poseidon It is evening, almost night, and people are doing their stuff around their workplaces or homes, or having dinner, a sure thing is that the secluded small beach behind a smallish church is definitely a quiet place. Understandable, since the place is usually closed to the public, repaired even from sight from the structure of the church itself, that casts it shadow on the white sand of that angle of paradise, waves lapping gently in rithmical and relaxing patterns at the beach and, in its center, what looks like the small statue of an unidentified fish. The odd thing about the statue? It seems to be made entirely from gold. The even more odd thing, it emanates a quite strong mystical aura, for those who can sense it.
Dusk >bleeenk!<
Dusk appears out of nowhere, a Vantablack silhouette of a girl. She contemplates the fish, walking slowly around it and inspecting it for markings and glyphs.
"I don't think you're supposed to be here. Who would leave a chrysa psaria in the open like this?"
Poseidon The fish's surface is smooth, without any symbol or rune, glyph or really anything that would explain its uses and purpose, and its being out of place is evident by the fact the fish almost seems, randomly thrown on the sand, not placed as properly as a golden thing should be. The mystical aura is there, and pulsates slowly, almost like a heartbeat, that increases slightly when the girl teleports in.
Meanwile, from the sea, something seems to be approaching at high speed, leaving a small white trace on the water's surface.
Dusk Dusk turns to face the movement, sidestepping to stand between the two until she knows what is coming. She doesn't want things to get worse by something that shouldn't have it getting to it. Her wrists cross, waiting, gliding wings fluttering out to either side of their own accord.

"Who comes?"
Poseidon The whatever is coming is approaching quickly, and then from the water a man jumps out, moving in what looks like a descending arch in the air to land serenely a couple of meters in front of Dusk.
Wearing a sea green, magnificent armor, with a golden cloak flowing from his shoulders, the man now standing on the beach has an ageless look, his eyes speaking of wisdom, his hair reaching down to his shoulders and white in color, he however seems far from an old man and when he addresses the woman, he does it with a calm and lympid voice. "greetings, winged one..."
Dusk "Lord Poseidon. Here about this weirdly placed eidolon, I take it?"
Dusk bows her head with the appropriate deference for the situation, then takes a step to the side, turning to allow him to pass.
"Just the entity I was thinking of calling. No idea how it got here, though. I'm guessing you have a better idea than I do. I just didn't want some little kid wandering up and unleashing powers nobody was meant to know or something."
Poseidon Poseidon performs a polite bow, examining Dusk with his eyes for a couple of seconds before straightening again "wise..." he just comments, approaching the golden fish and peering at it for a couple of seconds "well this is, quite an intresting artifact, and, one that indeed shouldn't fall in the wrong hands..." he comments, kneeling on the sand next to it "for once, if on land, those who manage to break it will gain the ability to breathe underwater for all their life. But" he places his right hand on the fish itself, and its aura pulsates faster, almost like a quick heartbeat "it is, when in water, a living creature. And so destroying it would kill it, and it would have, not so good consequences..."
Dusk "That sounds like it belongs to you. How do you think it got here?"
Dusk looks at the eidolon, looking for tracks and other things out of place.
Poseidon Poseidon smiles, but shakes his head "it belongs to the sea, and it belongs to itself... It's a living creature, so well, he is his own owner.." he comments, then peers around at the white sand, with no tracks, no traces at all of human presence "I have absolutely no idea! Right now it looks like it fell from the sky, because there's absolutely no sign of human presence here."
Dusk Dusk hmms, thinking, and takes another walk around the area. "Maybe you can ask him, then? I'm not sure how that works. I'd hate to miss some portal that's lying in wait to be stumbled into. You know how these things go."

She looks up in the air, frowning in thought. Where would it have come from...
Poseidon Poseidon gets the fish in his hands, and even if it is not that large in size it still looks, not so transportable! But still, having godly strength helps in those cases, and Poseidon starts approaching the water with the golden fish in hand, placing it then into the water itself and waiting. And waiting. And waiting.
"Isn't this supposed to turn into a living thing, now?" he frowns, because a sure thing is that the fish still remains quite lifeless.
Dusk "That's what you said. I haven't seen one before in person."

Dusk looks at the fish, then looks around at the water, examining it.

"Is the water, well, watery enough? It isn't something weird or taken over in some territorial dispute or anything? I'm not as good with water as I am with dark and death things."
Poseidon Poseidon peers at the fish, at the ocean, then raises an eyebrow "oh of course it is watery enough!" then, he gestures with his right hand, and a sphere of water, two meters in diameter, rises from the sea to enchase the golden fish, floating in the air "well it is really supposed to come alive... You said you're expert in death things, right? What do you know about death things?"
Dusk "You learn a few things from dying. His spirit is half passed on. It bleeds. Dying spirit in a healthy body. I don't envy him."

Dusk shrugs lightly, considering the globe of water.

"I don't know how to help him, though. Knowing is the only half of the battle I can do. Not unless he needs to be taken somewhere."
Poseidon Poseidon turns towards Dusk, hearing her words and nodding slowly "mh, that, makes sense, sort of..." he lowers his head, thoughtfully "now the thing would be understanding how such a thing happened" he gestures, making the globe of water approach his position, and extends his right hand to place it on the fish's surface, his body glowing slightly as he channels some magical energy into it, gently coaching its soul to come back into it, reassuring it that the body is healthy, that it can heal... "my brother knows way more than me about dead things, I'm afraid..." he mumbles
Dusk Dusk nods and watches, waiting to see if it helps.

"And other various death gods and mages, I suppose. If the cost is worth it. Is there anything else that would help that I am able to do? I'm not comfortable with things like this happening randomly without an explanation. I worry they might happen again."
Poseidon Poseidon looks thoughtfully at Dusk, then closes his eyes "well I am not fully aware of what you can or cannot do, so..." he mumbles, and apparently the magic had a small effect, at least, with the soul still wounded but, slowly starting to return into its body? "I'd have to investigate it further, and well, this is something that I've rarely seen but it can happen... Maybe it had an accident, it's an, old fish, after all... More than a tousand of years, for sure"
Dusk Dusk considers. "Is it a tired fish?" She takes a step back and bows again.

"Maybe he was looking for your brother. That's a conversation for the two of you, though."

She goes starry, and implodes into a rapidly imploding spherical void before vanishing. >shrrrpt!<
Poseidon Poseidon peers at the empty space left by Dusk's disappearance, shrugs, then gestures for the water sphere to follow him "ok golden one, lets just go home and see if we can do something for you..." that said, it doesn't take long before he jumps into the water again, dragging the fish behind him
