Kitty Pryde	Kitty is in the library upgrading the computers. She's swapped out about two-thirds of them now, with just a few left to go. She designed and built them herself, and they are bootable as Windows, Apple, or as the Xavier's OS that Kitty, Doug, and others have written and made available to those at the school. Kitty plugs in a few cables and squares up the computer on the desk, then takes the old one and places it on a cart. The parts will be salvaged, probably multiple times before they are eventually retired in some way. If not blown up, burned, or shorted out by a phasing woman before then.
J'onn	J'onn is basically exploring or, to be more fair, wandering aimlessly through the various rooms of the school where he found himself working. A lot of people, there, know him just as the new science teacher, and indeed he appears to be just a tall and athletic human male probably in his early thirties, with short black hair in a professional and perfectly cured cut, blue eyes, and a blue tailored suit wrapping his body. His footsteps barely make any sound as he approaches the library, because he heard there's books in there, and technology, and generally speaking things that he wants to see.
Illyana Rasputina	A circular disc of light slides open in the air in the library allowing Illyana to step forth. The length of her blonde hair sways behind her as if caught in some breeze, or perhaps a dissoance in the air pressure between Here and There. As the portal closes again she's left standing there taking a moment to let her eyes adjust to the differences, and take in who was already here. "Katrina," she greets using the other girl's sort-of full name with a little hint of a grin. It was teasingly said as she'd almost snuck up on her. Almost. It was hard to sneak when your method of transportation was a bright shiny light of 'NOTICE ME SENPAI'.
Kitty Pryde	The library is pretty start of the art. Even if no one ever seems to know where the money to fund all of this comes from. Possibly Warren or some other ungodly rich mutant. And the electronics are better than state of the art given how many people are capable of building better than what is for sale. But there is a great assortment of classic literature and science volumes as well. Kitty glanced up as the tall man enters to look around. She lifts a hand to wave over to him. There aren't many people in here, given that it's currently summer, but there are a few taking summer classes making use of the facility. Though Kitty sees Illyana teleport in and her face lights up at the sight of her dear old friend. She hurries over to give her a big hug, hopefully before the blond can dodge the affection. "Hey, been wondering when we'd see you again," Kitty says with a bright smile. "Have you met the new science teacher?" she asks, motioning towards John Green and waving the man over to them.
J'onn	J'onn does a quick scan of the place with all his nine senses, that means getting almost a complete 3d image of every single corner of the room, of every person and, probably, of their minds in a way. At least the ones that are not shielded, but it isn't like he'll just read through everyone's mind anyways! "greetings!" he exclaims, aiming his steps towards Kitty and turning his neutral expression into a smile, offering even a wave at Illyana as she steps out of a portal as if seeing people portaling was starting to be quite the common event for him. "here I am, yes, ready to try to enhance the scientific knowledge." he performs a half bow with his head, aimed at Illyana, extending then his right hand in her direction "John Green at your service."
Illyana Rasputina	Illyana Rasputin smiles warmly at Kitty's enthusiastic greeting. "I've been around. Ororo mentioned I ought to consider my syllabus for this next year. I admit I've been lax in that lately." The man gestured over earns a polite nod from her though her blue eyes regard him sharply as if trying to appraise his value. The smile she wears remains in place regardless. When the hand is offered to shake, her own extends to take it with a firm grip. "Illyana Rasputin. A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Green."
Kitty Pryde	Kitty Pryde moves over to the cart that has the new computers on it, as well as the old ones that have been replaced. "Just swapping these out," Kitty says. "Build a new set, more memory and faster," she shares as she carries one over, set it on a desk, and begins unplugging the previous model. "Are you managing to find everything, John? It's not quite as busy around here with some of the students gone for the summer," she says. Kitty glances to Illyana. "Though, there was something that happened not too long ago. Attack on the school. Aimed at Rogue mostly, and a few others. Short story of it is... her mother's being held in a pocket dimension controlled by this magical cult leader. We have a window to enter it in June. I was thinking maybe you'd be willing to go with us to try to free her? Figuring you could teleport us out if need be so we're not trapped there? Rogue is thinking a small group. If you're willing I can offer your name up."
J'onn	J'onn shakes Illyana's hand, then releases it to assume a relaxed posture in front of the two women. "A pleasure to meet you, miss..." he comments, nodding then when learning that Kitty is just replacing hold computers with new better ones, and said pieces of technology earn a glance from him "nicely done! And yes, I'm finding everything, so far... Fortunately the place is not that hard to map." especially if you can just get into the mind of someone who knows it and get the knowledge, but that's something he probably won't say. In regard to the informations that he ears about attacks and pocket dimensions, however, he limits himself to listen quietly, cataloguing the datas for any evenience.
Illyana Rasputina	Illyana Rasputin tips her head a bit at this news. It was indeed news to her, and she considers it quietly only a moment. There's barely any hesitation when Kitty suggests her involvement in the situation. "Of course I'll help. I presume you want limited casualities though." It doesn't seem as if she's joking about this. "I could easily take care of the kidnappers..." A quiet sigh comes, and she moves to regard the computers with only a hint of familiarity. Perhaps not the best topic for now. "I suppose I should work more with the sciences myself. I know so much of other natures, but there are times I believe I'm losing touch with current technology."
Kitty Pryde	Kitty Pryde has a cart with computers on it, swapping out the old ones and replacing them with new. She gets a new one in place on the desk, wires it up, and then carries the old one back to the cart. "It's a nice little place," Kitty tells John, about the school. "Small enough to stay nice and friendly. Everyone knows each other. Though, kids can be kids of course," she says. There's always a few that want to cause troubles for others. Poor Hambone is often a butt of jokes amongst the students. Kitty makes a so-so gesture to Illyana. "Most of the people there worship him. Some are resisting him though. And he's made Rogue's mother his queen. So, ideally we could depose him and convince everyone to come back with us. I just don't know if that's possible, it might be like a village or small city worth of people in there. But, probably minimal harm if we can manage it, yes. Some of them might come around if we can find a way."
J'onn	J'onn is standing close to Kitty and Illyana, dressed in his tailored blue suit, having just introduced to Illyana as the new science teacher, John Green. And now he's just listening quietly to their conversation, even if he comments on what Kitty just said about the school with a nod and a smile "I can understand it, yes... It's a similar feeling, where I, usually work... Even if there there's quite a bit of mediatic things to work with and, well, the troubles are of a different nature! Apart from the flash, constantly stealing my cookies..."
Kaydin	A blur moves amongst the library, blue lightning arcing about in the air as something runs past the various people. The blur stops at one of the newer computers and Kaydin is revealed to be the person responsible for the blur. His hands moves at rapid speed as the keys are heard being typed. It sounds like some sort of woodpecker on speed before he clicks and zooms across the room to the printer. "Oh mighty printer, please print my assignment before the deadline?" He says as he seems to be waiting on the device. Clearly someone wasnt taught patience as a child.
Illyana Rasputina	Illyana Rasputin gives a thoughtful hum. "I am not against toppling another king. Especially for a good cause. This would be good, yes?" She knows the answer. It was saving someone. What would need to be done would be done. "I will help if that is what she wishes. It is her mother." Smiling again she tips her head toward John Green with a chuckle. "Speedsters are always hungry. It is their curse."
Kitty Pryde	"Thanks Illyana," Kitty says with a smile. "It'll mean a lot to her. Her father was there trying to get her out. He's staying here at the school in the meantime. She hasn't seen him since he followed into that pocket dimension place," Kitty says. She reaches over to give Illyana's arm a squeeze, though keeps it short. Kitty glances up at the whoosh of air. She looks thoughtful as she wonders if there is much she could do to get a computer to keep up with someone like Kaydin. A thought for another time. "Kaydin, have you met the new science teacher? John Green, this is Kaydin LeGraize. You can probably guess what his ability is," she says with a grin to what appears to be a tall, human man.
J'onn	J'onn glances at the computers, at the blur of movement, at the printer and then at Kitty with a chuckle "doing assignments at the last minute?" he asks, it's an ability if you manage to still do them in time! "anyways, greetings!" he salutes the fast man with a polite nod and a smile "oh, Kitty, I'll see if I can sneak you some technology to deal with that... We have one or two people that type pretty quickly as well, up there..."
Illyana Rasputina	Illyana Rasputin is already beginning to run things over in her mind on how to handle other dimensional kingdoms. Oh, she had ideas all right. Kitty's touch jarrs her out of her thoughts and she offers her old friend a reassuring smile. "It's okay," she murmurs quietly to assure her that talk of this other dimensional pocket wasn't bringing back bad memories for her. No there was too much on the line for such sentiment at the moment. "Ah... Speaking of speedsters," she muses with a chuckle at Kaydin's talking to the printer.
Kaydin	"Pleasure to meetcha, Mr. Green. I hope the school is welcoming you. We have a few oddities but overall we are quite friendly." He says as smiles at the man and then he looks to the other two. "I hope I am not intruding? I can always buzz off. "
J'onn	J'onn smiles again at the blurring man, offering his hand to shake "nice to meet you. And well, yes, I'm liking the place quite a bit so far, I'm sure once the summer ends there'll be all sorts of intresting things to do!" he chuckles a bit then, grinning slightly "ooh, I've seen plenty of oddities even out of here, trust me..."
Illyana Rasputina	Illyana Rasputin gives a shake of her head to Kaydin's question of interrupting. "No, merely chatting about things. Nothing of much importance." Nothing she should be telling a younger student anyway! She was trying to be good and knew that mentioning such things to Kaydin would likely earn a scowl from her brother.
