Professor Zoom Latveria. It's been here that Eobard Thawne has spent the better part of two months now under his genetic disguise of Harrison Wells. He's occasionally gone out into the world as Professor Zoom... but he risks detection every time.

It's only been a week since Impulse disappeared from Dooms attack, and 'Harrison' has been monitoring him. He's an entirely new Speedster in this era, after all... one that he vaguely recalls hearing about in his studies, but didn't go into great detail about. The force bubble keeping Impulse contained has been installed in a temporary holding facility... somewhere in Latveria, with his surroundings all grey and uniform. Just outside the bubble is a complicated series of machines, along with a control console.

By the time Impulse has awakened, 'Harrison' is busy typing over that console. Today, the scientist is wearing a lab coat with casualwear under it, and he's utterly ignoring the Speedster.
Impulse The final thrust to escape his trap did a number on the teen, exhausting and stressing his connection to the speed force. Harrison's readings of the encounter would probably tell him that had Impulse been able to run for just a few feet longer he might have actually broken back into the speed force. Or skipped off it's surface to any unknown time period another Max Murcury lost in time.

Conciousness came in small bursts to the teen throughout the week, never lasting longer than a minute, and all of it groggy and fuzzy, the normally ever present voice of Gideon gone from his mind. It's different this time, his body healed, the teen leaps to his feet looking around at his 'cell' before he notices the scientist and frowns. "Didn't think you were the evil mad scientist type. You're that speed force guy Harry Wellingson or something aren't you?" he finally says speaking with aggrivation and contempt in his voice.
Professor Zoom "My name is Harrison Wells, young man." Harrison greets Impulse, "Director or Doctor depends on how formal you want to get." Type. Type Type.

Then, he turns to regard Impulse. "I've been a captive here for a while now, and forced to work against my will." There's an actual smile to this, "and before you ask, no, I can't release you. If I do, he'll kill me."

There's a moment as Harrison looks the boy over, top to bottom, "how are you feeling? You took quite the hit from the barrier."
Impulse "How would he kill you?" The teen asks curiously. "If you let me go, I'm fast enough to get us both out of here. We'ed be gone before he even knew it. Also, who is 'he'" he adds doing airquotes before looking around his cell before looking back at the doctor. "I'm fine." is all he answers about the question about his health. "Where are we? And what did you do to Gideon?" he continues the line of questioning.
Professor Zoom "You've been captured by Victor Von Doom...and you're currently in one of the most well designed Speed Force prisons on this planet. He made sure of that." Harrison explains, bringing his hands behind his back as he watches Impulse. "Who is Gideon?"
Impulse "My...A friend. " he says starting to say something about what exactly Gideon is before changing direction. "this bubble, or the whole place?" he asks looking at the lab outside of his bubble, his body becoming a blure of motion inside the clear trap looking to ping pong off the sides of the forcefield in an attempt to overload it. After about three seconds of this he stops to look back at the doctor. "So, how am I supposed to eat, and go to the faciilities?" he asks motioning to the empty bubble he's trapped in. "Gonna get kinda messy to experiment on me if I just got three hundred and sixty corners to go in." he adds..
Professor Zoom "It'll come from the floor, and there's a place directly in the center that you can tap to bring a bio-waste unit up for." Harrison shrugs. "You didn't bring anyone with you but that girl, and we know her name isn't Gideon." Harrison presses.

Eobard already has a theory of what he's talking about. Impulse has already made it clear he's related to the Allen family... perhaps further along in the timeline someone managed to take Gideon from him. It wasn't impossible.
Impulse Impulse glances at the floor noticing the seams in the ground an idea coming to him as he kneels down in the center of the floor. "Gideon is a family friend." he says Ignoring the rest of the question as his hand starts to vibrate at a rapid pace sawing back and forth as he tries to slowly press his phasing hand into the floor testing if it's got the same barrier as the rest of his bubble.

It's the first time he's channeled the speed-force without moving faster than the eye can really track, his goggles broken in the original capture of him letting Harrison see his eyes starting to glow a malevolent blood red.
Professor Zoom He could already sense Impulse was from another era the moment he came out of the eye of the Speed Force storm. Now, he can feel Impulse pulling small amounts of Negative Speed Force energy from the dimensional barrier.

It was a profoundly interesting revelation for Eobard... to know that someone other than him was capable of channeling the energy. It also made it very clear Eobard had to keep a tight lid on /any/ sort of channeling around Impulse. He didn't know if the teenager could detect such things on his own or not. The Speed Force (both of them) effects everyone differently, after all.

When Impulse tries to phase through the floor, his hand goes through... and Harrison tsks, "There's a barrier underneath. The floor is simply for convenient storage, young man."
Impulse Impulse pulls his hand out and sighs sitting down and just staring at Doctor Wells. "So what's next. I'm not gonna help someone named Doom with anything, specially since he's kidnapped not only me, but apparently you." he says crossing his legs and just staring at the man.
Professor Zoom "The wider world knows him as Doctor Doom. He's a very accomplished techologist and seems to be versed in the mystic arts, too." Harrison offers as he turns back to the control console. "I honestly don't know what he has planned for you. He's interested in the Speed Force. It's why he abducted me and replaced me with a Doombot that I can control." Harrison glances to Impulse, a slight frown on his face, "He's actually fairly intelligent. I have no doubt he'll get what he wants from you regardless of your objections."

His eyes glance around the barrier... then back to the console, "My working theory is he's interested in building a conduit to the Speed Force for himself. He's very specifically looking for those who channel the energy." Type. Type Type. Type.
Impulse Impulse snorts derisively. "Good luck to him on that." he says shakeing his head. "I doubt he'ed want to get /my/ particular link to the Speed Force anyway." he adds as if he knew a secret nobody else did.
Professor Zoom "You do seem to have a unique connection. I've never seen any video of the Flash having red eyes." Harrison looks to Impulse. "where does that come from?"
Impulse Impulse shrugs. "No clue." he says simply "just happens when I go fast." he explains "So you have control over this doom bot. Why havn't you used it to call for help? You're a smart cookie, I'm sure you could do something to keep him from knowing you did it." he adds.
Professor Zoom "I've tried. If I push too hard, he'll notice. I don't understand his Doombot technology nearly enough to mask my activity on them... and trying to reverse engineer them would disrupt their signals. Victor is very careful about his deceptions." Harrison frowns slightly. "He allows me access to it via his holographic technology, and records everything. If I don't use it to keep up the ruse, I'm dead."

He smiles, sadly. "I don't have your speed... I can't simply leave and come back with no one the wiser."

Harrison even sounds convincing, saying it.
Impulse Impulse shrugs. "You've got a co-consipiritor now." he says calmly before he just goes silent. Who knows what recording devices are in the lab that Doom can watch or is watching. Looking around the lab, he really starts to take in what he's seeing in an attempt to divine what the various machines might be or their intended use.
Professor Zoom Most of the machines in the room are completely foreign to Impulse. The technology is simply too primitive, and of a design he hasn't even attempted to understand before. It'd be like someone from this era going back to medieval times and trying to figure out how blacksmithing works without any prior training.

"We'll see about that. For now, your vitals look good... I think. Your connection seems... in flux. Something to look into." Harrison looks to Impulse, a concerned frown on his face, "Some friendly advice? Your body seems to be in constant flux, always teetering on the edge. This may be a good opportunity to talk to someone about stabilizing that." He smirks, "I would have offered if you came to me earlier... but it's too late for that."

With that, Harrison turns, and starts to head out of the room.
Impulse Impulse doesn't say anything, just watching as the doctor leaves the teen just continueing to look around his 'prison'
