Kaydin	"Well here I am." Kaydin says while on the phone. He had stopped at Los Pollos to get something to eat. Normally he doesnt come to Bludhaven because of the rumors that the place is crawling with vampires and other supernatural monsters. But food enticed him to stop and here he was enjoying a tray of chicken tenders and fries. He smiles and laughs. "I am eating healthy, of course."
Daniel Osborn	Those rumors about Bludhaven are definitely true. However, not all supernaturals are monsters. in fact, here comes one now, walking into the place, clearly hungry, though you'd never know it just looking at him, Oz looks completely human. He's wearing pretty much his typical clothes, DAMB t-shirt, jean shorts, prayer beads, and studded bracelets, and his hair is red, not dyed right now apparently. Given the restaurant is a little crowded this evening, Oz ends up taking a free spot beside Kaydin while the other man is having his phone call. The mention of him eating healthy causes Oz's eyes to land on the tray of food, and he shakes his head slightly, with a smirk, though it's clear he doesn't disapprove himself. if he did, he wouldn't be here, after all. Of course he doesn't speak, it would be very rude to interrupt Kaydin's phone call, after all.
Kaydin	Kaydin hangs up his phone and dips a tender into the ketchup and munches on it. He turns to notice someone looking to him and he smiles. "My brother is a sheriff and makes it his personal mission to make sure I am miserable." He says as he watches the man. "So got a name?" HE asks curiously.
Daniel Osborn	"Oz," the man himself says with a smile, and a laugh. "Not eating healthy isn't a crime though," he says, with the slightest of smirks, before turning to ask for a drink. 1 lemonade later... "Yours?"
Kaydin	"Kaydin. He sucks up to mom. Mom is a native american and a big health nut. My oldest brother enforces her rules. Dad's fun, he was a hell's angel so he was real proud my brother went into law enforcement." Kaydin says with a smirk and he offers a hand to Oz
Daniel Osborn	oz shakes, with a smile. "I don't care what you like to eat, how you like to eat, but my respect for you ends the moment you start telling me what I can and can't eat," he says, with a chuckle. Obviously he's not referring to Kaydin, but the health nut mom. He doesn't like those kinds of people much. "Cops are good, when they're good, and not corrupt," he says. After all, he's seen some corrupt cops before, though he's met some who weren't corrupt, and who were in fact very good.
Kaydin	"Thankfully dad lets us eat what we want even though we are supposed to eat healthy." Kaydin says as he watches the man. "I got a hyper metabolism anyway so I can eat what I want and still be hungry." Kaydin says as he eats another tender. "So you live in bludhaven? I live in seattle mainly, going to college in westchester."
Daniel Osborn	"Sunnydale," Oz responds. The hyper metabolism causes a chuckle, another strange person. "West Chester, huh? That's up north a bit isn't it? Haven't actually been up that way yet, I go to New York City a lot, never to West Chester." He shrugs, taking a drink of his lemonade as he eyes the menu thoughtfully.
Kaydin	"I am a superhero. Got superhuman speed. Can circle the globe in about thirty minutes and I was running at full speed." Kaydin says as he watches the man. "To me, time moves insanely slow. Thankfully sound isnt affected or it would be really boring." He says as he watches the man. "So Oz, anyplace you wanna go? I can take you there. I make a living delivering packages. Best one in New york city."
Daniel Osborn	"So you're...like the Flash?" Oz asks, with a chuckle. he doesn't bat an eye though, actually believing Kaydin without any question. "Whaat do you do about water though? Can you swim at super high speeds too?" he finally settles on ordering a 4-piece with fries, and waits patiently for it to come, though it'll be a couple minutes.
Kaydin	"I can actually move fast enough to run on water. Doesnt take much, flat water is actually pretty solid, thats why jumping off a bridge into water will still kill you, the surface tension is strong enough to react like hitting cement." Kaydin explains. "Exactly like the flash. See I am connected to a type of energy called the speedforce. Speeds up my own body to the point where I can actually see and touch bullets." He says as he looks to Oz. "Wanna see how it is like? If I touch someone I can bring others into my aura and they can see how the world looks to me."
Daniel Osborn	Oz considers, and nods. "That would be quite cool," he says. "To experience what crazy super powered people experience." He grins, definitely interested in what Kaydin is saying.
Kaydin	Kaydin nods as he throws a tender in the air and moves to wrap an arm around oz. A staticy tingling is felt and soon the whole world changes. Everyone moves slowly, like someone put the world on slowmo. The tender sorta hovers in the air, slowly dropping at a snail's pace. Kaydin smirks as he watches oz's reaction to the changes. Kaydin then munches on another tender.
Daniel Osborn	Oz's eyes widen with the whole world slowing down like this. He's not sure he wants to speak, he has a feeling it would sound ridiculous to everyone around them, of course what he does next would look ridiculous as well. He reaches out and grabs the tender right out of the air, easily catching it due to how slow it moves, but he has no idea what that would look like to anyone else.
Kaydin	To everyone else it looks like Daniel is moving at superhuman speed. When oz catches the tender kaydin smirks and moves away from him, and soon everyone speeds back up again. "Thats what the world is like to me. All the time. As I said it is a good thing sound sounds the same or else it would be very annoying." Kaydin says as he dips his tender in ketchup and munches on it.
Daniel Osborn	"How do you..." He gapes for a moment, putting the tender back on Kaydin's tray before taking another drink of his lemonade. "How do you live like that/" he asks. After all, he'd never be able to live that way. "Everything so completely slow to you all the time?"
Kaydin	"It has its moments where it is very annoying. Especially when waiting for people to do stuff, but the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. A friend of mine has gravity powers and she got shot in the arm. Her powers became unstable after that. So being able to pocket bullets is a definatly plus." Kaydin says as he orders a lemonade also. "Sunnydale isnt that near new york city? Little subarb?" He asks curiously.
Daniel Osborn	"Neighborhood of Avalon," Oz responds. "Not that far from here. Avalon's a suburb of Bludhaven, so, yeah. "And we're not that far from new York City either. Half hour by car, maybe, though, for you..." he shrugs. "Gravity powers? Wait, are you talking about Rift?" he asks, curiously, with a bit of a grin. "She ever tell you who put a hole in her Star Wars poster?" he asks, with a bit of a smirk.
Kaydin	"Seems you know her. Pretty hot if you can get past the glowing red eyes and hair." Kaydin says with a smile as he nods. "Anyway it is a matter of minutes. I often meet with folks, try out new things. You seem to be an alright sort. So what happened to a star wars poster?" He asks curiously as he eats some more tenders. wolfing them down pretty quickly.
Daniel Osborn	When he says she's hot, Oz nods in agreement, with a shrug. "And the glowing red...everything," he says. "Well, um...I was doing archery in central park and she portaled into a path of one of my arrows. She told me it put a hole in her star wars poster. Looking back now it was hilarious, but back then I felt pretty bad. When she came through the portal my first thought is that I'd opened a portal to hell and that a demon was coming after me for vengence or something like that."
Kaydin	"Yea Rift gives off that impression. We actually have a girl who rules a piece of hell. She portals in and out of there all the time." Kaydin says as he smirks at her. "So you do archery. Trying to be like hawkeye or green arrow?" He asks with a friendly smile. "I can never make it work. I shoot an arrow, it flies everywhere but where it is supposed to be.
Daniel Osborn	"Hawkeye or Green Arrow? I could never live up to either of them. But I learned to shoot a bow in high school, got pretty good at it. Weapon of choice for killing vampires, though it only works if they don't know it's coming." It's then that his food finally arrives, and he picks up a piece in his hands, a thigh no less. "But i always have a stake and holy water at night for those situations." And then he begins to eat, quite hungrily, though maybe not as fast as Kaydin.
Kaydin	"So you are a vampire hunter. Interesting." Kaydin says as he begins to eat his fries. "So any tips on how to defend myself against the undead?" He asks curiously as he watches the man. "Clearly it is to have a stake and holy water on hand." He says as he watches the man. "Do werewolves have fleas?" He asks playfully.
Daniel Osborn	"How'd you know I was a werewolf?" Oz asks, a little surprised, as he pauses eating for a moment. "Stake and holy water. I saw a girl once with a holy water squirt gun. Now that was amazing. She dusted a vampire with it, but be sure you have plenty of ammo if you wanna use it. Oh, and in case you're wondering, in human form, I don't have flees. In wolf form, I couldn't say, I'm not in control then, but they're never there when I wake up." he smirks, before going back to eating.
Kaydin	"I didnt, I was joking." Kaydin says as he looks at him. "So you are a werewolf. Does this mean full moons make you angry?" He asks curiously as he studies the man. "Rift sure does have interesting friends. You and her are a couple?" He asks curiously.
Daniel Osborn	"I'm a werewolf. Full moons used to be a problem, but not anymore," oz responds. "I took care of that one." Asking if he and Rift are a couple causes his eyes to widen, and he shakes his head. "No no, not at all," he says. "In fact, I barely know her. Just met her in Central Park once. She did get us hot dogs, though. They were pretty good."
Kaydin	"Clearly you can build a relationship on hotdogs." Kaydin says with a teasing tone and he smiles. "Anyway not my business who she dates. I was dating a martian before she left to do heroing and forgot about me." Kaydin says as he shrugs.
Daniel Osborn	"Sounds like me. I was dating a witch until high school ended. She went off to college, I...didn't." Oz shrugs, frowning slightly. "She's still my friend but, well, things still feel a little weird sometimes, ya know?"
Kaydin	KAydin smirks. "I understand. Anyway I should probably get back home. Here's my number, give me a call when you want to hang out. We can do something fun." He says with a smile to the man and finishes his fries. He then blurs out, leaving blue lightning arcing around the area where he was.
