Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie is in shorts down by the pool. He has on a pair of swimtrunks on. He has his newest sci fi book handy and seems to be relaxing
Doug Ramsey	Doug on the other hand, seems to be just getting back from a morning jog. It's humid and warm already, so he's perspiring. "Morning Sam," He says, as he strolls by. Doug Runsey? Well, that'd mean in the gym he's Doug Liftsey and in a fight he's Doug Hide-and-tackle-someone-from-behindsey.
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Hey man, how you doing?" He will ask his friend. He moves to sit up to chat easier, and offers the other man his bottle of water thats unopened.
Doug Ramsey	Doug takes the bottle of water, and pours half of it over his head. "Today? Not bad." Doug says, "I got a little into what I was doing last night, and disassociated, I'm trying to just... relax, and take it all in naturally." He sighs, and says, "You had something else you wanted to ask me, before. What was it?"
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie looks to Doug, and says "Well it was about he whole nullifier thing. You would know more about this than me probably, but if your powers got nullified do you think it would effect the virus?" He asks the man.
Doug Ramsey	"Oh." Doug says. "You know, I don't know?" He reaches down and unlaces his sneakers, before he takes his socks off and stuffs them inside -- then he sits on the edge of the pool with his feet hanging into the water. He takes a granola bar out of a pack he was wearing, and opens it, but pauses before he takes a bite. "See, the Transmode I'm infected with isn't standard strain... it's Warlock strain. It... behaves differently. That's why it went into remission. I asked it to. So I'm not contagious, or anything like that. But I'm mindful that it's there. I'm not going to be giving any blood transfusions anytime soon."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says 'Ok, so we keep you away from nullifiers since we don't know what will happen. I was thinking might have been able to use one to help you able to center on yourself if you needed an external tool.
Doug Ramsey	"Well, the disease is in remission, I don't think the absence of my powers would cause it to go haywire or anything. It's essentially... carrying Warlock's source code inside me, and I don't think there's any part of him that would ever hurt me." Doug says, with an easy shrug. "But it's good that you think about that."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie says, "Ah don't think so either, AH just was worried it might have some ill effect on you. Ah was sitting here a bit earlier with Illyana and Betsy chatting a bit am also worried a bit about Illyana, Ah think she is spending to much time in Limbo, and is getting distant."
Doug Ramsey	Doug raises an eyebrow at that. "Did you ask her?" He says. "Going around behind Illyana's back trying to help her is just going to annoy her more than a forthright question about how she's feeling would. I mean, it'll still annoy her, just not as much. Or are you trying to nudge me into asking her?"
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie shakes his head, and says "Ah talked to her yesterday, but Ah was more thinking about if you get a chance to chat with her just try to get her to come out and about. See if we can help her more.
Doug Ramsey	Doug gives a faint grin at that, and then says, "I have faith in Illyana. Which would probably annoy her too. She's like... she's like Granny Weatherwax. A part of her might want to be the wicked witch, but she knows the difference between right and wrong."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie says, "Oh ah aint worried about her being bad, Ah am more worried about her cutting herself off from people and becoming more antisocial. I don't want her using limbo as an excuse to cut herself off from us."
Doug Ramsey	"Mmmmmm." Doug says. "...Well, I'll see what I can do." He remains sitting there, kicking his feet in the water, contemplatively. "But there's only so much of me to go around, Sam-o." He gives a brief grin. "I'm working on building a map of the morlock tunnels. But I'm going to need to collect some on-site data in order to make sure it's correct."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Well let me know when you want to and Ah'll go with you. Ah am hoping we might be able to get Theresa in on some of our shinagins, she is back at the mansion, talked to her recently.
Doug Ramsey	"Yeah, I saw her in the library last night, for a little bit. Scott's going to be putting together a squad to go investigate what 'The Family' is doing in Mutant Town. He's starting to lean on me more for intelligence-gathering too. I'm not sure how I feel about that." Doug glances at Sam, and says, "I never asked -- How's the family?"
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie says, "Back home? Pretty good, Josh is actually got a band going and seems to be enjoying it, wants to be called Jay now though. Jeb is getting into fights with the Cabots, Ma doesn't want me to come down, and beat there heads in. Ah think mom is dating someone too.""
Doug Ramsey	Doug gives a little grin. "And you?" He asks. "I mean, sometimes I don't ask, because I can just tell -- but right now, I'm asking. With Bobby out and about and so busy, I seem to have fallen into the default position of Sam's Pal -- And I'm OK with that."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit about that, and says "Hey even with Berto around your still Sam's pal. " He uses the term the other did. "Ah am doing ok, just trying to make sure we get things done that need done. Looking after the folks and make sure everyone is ok."
Doug Ramsey	"You have limits, you know." Doug says, "Repeat after me, Sam Is Only One Person." He puts one foot up on the edge of the pool, and looks down into the edge of the water, as he wraps his arm around his knee.
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie smirks and says "Sam is only one person, but he is a great guy, and can do anything he sets his mind to so he is ok." He jokes a bit with the other man, and says "Whats on your mind now Doug?"
Doug Ramsey	"Lots of things." Doug says. "Just like always. Just trying to see into the future, that's all. 'Reply hazy, ask again later'. That's all I've ever gotten, though." He glances up to Sam, and smiles. "I'm feeling more like me than I have in a long time. That's a mixed thing, I guess."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie looks to the man and says "See, told ya just took a bit of time, but knew you would find your stride man.
Doug Ramsey	Doug looks up, as a band around his wrist goes 'Pinnnininining'. "Huh. Student emergency. I'm gonna go see what's up. Enjoy your book, Sam." He gets up, and walks off, still barefoot.
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie looks to the other man, and says "Send me a test if Ah am needed, will go change so if so I don't come in looking like a beach bum
