Henry McCoy Henry McCoy found the work left unfinishes when he came into the main medical lab. So, he puts a white lab coat and goggles on over his hawaiian shirt. STill smelling like a Nathan's Famous feast on Coney Island, he works overnight at the machines, the test tubes, and the computers, just in time for Josh to show up in the morning. A box of Twinkies and a big mug of coffee are seated to the side of a computer workstation.
Josh Foley Josh finishes up morning training with the X-Men and hits the shower in the change room. He gets dressed, checks his phone and makes a detour up to the kitchen for coffee and a bagel before coming into the lab. He has half a mouthful of bagel when he walks and says hi to Hank.

"Morning," he says. "Missed you at training."
Henry McCoy Henry McCoy steps away from one of the machines, and raises his goggles. "I did. I also noticed where you left off. I wish you'd let me know that the work was unfinished, being that my students' lives may be on the line here. I also need to question Twiggy McStickface, but I suppose that can wait. I hope your training and shower went well." He says every word in a calm, even tone.
Josh Foley Josh looks suddenly tired.

"None of them are dying. I've been either down here or watching the monitors since they got here. I've checked them personally, and they're like Sarah was after I healed her, they're fine but their brains are changed," Josh assures Hank. "Well, sort of fine. I've been using my skills to fight off withdrawal but they're gonna be climbing the walls soon."

Josh takes a seat in one of the chairs near Hank.

"You gave me four days of lab work to do in two," he grumbles. "I've been skipping work to be here, I'm behind in my classes... I can't do it all. Right now I'm not doing any of it well."
Henry McCoy Henry McCoy leaves his goggles up, the straps pressed against his slicked hair. "Josh. That's why I'm not angry at you. But you've got to communicate. I shouldn't find out you needed to crash out, by stepping into the lab and finding your tablet laying there. I should be getting a text from you or something saying "Hey Doc, can you pick up a shift? I'm dying here."
Josh Foley Josh sighs and scratches the back of his neck. He colours a bit as well in embarrassment and looks away from Hank with a ghost of a smile.

"Yeah, you got me there," he admits in a mumble. "Sorry, that wasn't cool. I got... Well, I thought I was getting some really bad news and got distracted. I've been all over the place like, for a while. I'll get my shit together, it won't happen again."
Henry McCoy Henry McCoy sighs, and walks on over, giving the young man a firm slap on the back, and hearty shoulder grab. "You're working hard. That's great. But just becuase you have the power to heal, it doesn't mean you need to try to be an entire team to yourself. The most important thing for you to learn, working with the X-Men, is how to be a team player."
Josh Foley Josh crinkles his nose but smiles.

"You sound like my high school football coach," he says. "I dunno, I don't like bothering you. You're busy. I guess I was trying to do too much."
Henry McCoy Henry McCoy snickers. "Well football is a big part of who I am. So I should hope so! Never hesitate to text me about X-Men medical matters. The worst that can happen is I ask someone else to help me as well. Keep it up. By the way, the scans are done, we just need to throw it into the diagnostics. And I'm going to shower myself now."
