Lorna Dane Lorna had heard of the famous Ice Hotel, but it normally was only open in the Winter. Not that Winter was so far from the two's reach when Bobby truly set his mind to it. They'd gone through the tropics in Genosha, and Summer still clung to the North East. The green haired mutant hadn't much time spent in the Northern climes, and with the bulk of the UN still being leery over Genosha on the whole.. The Princess couldn't officially visit Europe, but it didn't stop her from wanting to.

The second they'd actually had time amongst the craziness of their lives, Lorna had called Bobby up and asked him if he wanted to go somewhere... Anywhere on the planet. She had access to portals. All he had to do was pick the place.

So here they were, stepping out of a portal.
Bobby     "Sweden!" Bobby says as he steps through the portal and opens his arms wide in a grand sweeping sort of gesture as he spins around to face Lorna with a bright smile tugging at his cheeks and tightening his blue eyed gaze upon Lorna.

"And more specifically..." Bobby says as they step down the cobblestone street and around the corner comes into view a maginificent palace, one that's as large as Lorna's Genoshian palace, yet it's filled with more rooms as it's built to be a hotel. A specific hotel built on the mutant powers of several different ice based mutants. They're well compensated.

Bobby and Lorna turn the corner and step towards the huge block of ice. "This, is our hotel for as long as we need." Bobby says with a grin to Lorna, who he should have warned would be headed to colder climates.
Lorna Dane Lorna shivered, the ambient air temperature was only in the forties, but with the amount of ice mutants gathered about it was quickly dropping from the amount of ice mutants around them. Lorna had brought a coat at least, but it was certainly not rated for the amount of cold that was quickly setting over the region and sinking into the ground in a premature freeze.

"You seriously reversed like the past hundred years of climate change on a whim?" She teased, bumping him with her hip lightly.

"I uhm.. I don't think I'm dress quite warmly enough for all of this.." She murmured, tilting her head back as she eyed the ice sculptures.
Bobby     "It wasn't me, and it's just this specific hotel. We're not solving global warming any more than is needed to keep this place cold from the inside out." The ice man smiles and stops with a motion towards the shop they were walking next to.

"Watch those hips ma'am. You hit me and I don't know if it was on purpose." Bobby smirks and takes Lorna by the hand to lead her into the store in order to do a quick shopping massage so Lorna can get some new clothes to fit the more nippy temperatures of Sweden.
Lorna Dane Lorna arched a brow as she entered alongside Bobby, her hand rising to tug the metal of the door handle open rather than touching it with her bare fingers. "Oh I see, let the humans deal with it, step in only to build me a hotel." She fluttered her eyelashes at Bobby in a teasing, light hearted way as they entered the sweeping vista of the interior. High arches and ice so clear it looked like glass occupied the front entryway.

There was a check-in desk, all lit up from within with varying hues. Lorna shivered, leaning closer to Bobby automatically, and immediately understanding that the ice-powered mutant was not her best hope for warmth at that moment.

"Wow, this place is lovely.."
Bobby     "It's cold as all heck. Lets get you some new clothes though. You're downright frigid." Bobby comments with his hand falling to grasp onto Lorna's and he leads the woman past the check in desk. "We'll be right back, but the room is under Drake." Bobby informs the hostess with a smile as he drags Lorna to the shopping areas built into the bottom levels of the hotel. "There's supposed to be a Lewis Vitton kind of store or something like it down here too." Bobby smiles towards the princess.
Lorna Dane Lorna shook her head at Bobby as he led her away from the check in desk toward the shopping center. There were piles of sleeping bags on offer, all of which were rated for far into the negative degrees. Lorna stepped away from Bobby as she reached out to grab one, running her fingers through the nylon fabric with a tilt of her head. "This is supposed to keep me warm?"

One of the workers grinned and nodded, "Ya, less clothes is better though. Your skin keeps it warm. Less layers when you sleep." The blonde hair worker could almost be a copy of Bobby, but was taller by a good several inches and bulkier in the shoulders.

Lorna made a hmm'ing sound at the back of her throat, and laughed, shivering again. "Well until then I need something to wear, and no Bobby, it does not have to be designer anything. I'd rather live to see tomorrow after all." She shifted away from the sleeping bags and made her way toward the ice block covered in furs, jackets, and snow suits.
Bobby     Bobby smiles as Lorna starts to shop for herself and the ice man is allowed to roam around the store himself, looking at the thick winter coats, and the hiking boots, the extra thick gloves and the long johns.

"Lorna! Look at this!" He says holding up the traditional red onesie with the butt flap in the back held closed by two buttons. It gives Bobby a giggle as he looks at it and points at the flap specifically. "Find anything good yet?" He asks.
Lorna Dane Lorna side eyed Bobby as he tugged up a pair of long johns and she snorted, "Well, I dunno. Depends on what I'm looking at." She teased, and shrugged herself into a heavily fur lined coat. She exhaled a breath, still shivering and tugged the hood up around her head. Another clerk came forward, holding out an offering of scarves, hats, and mittens. Lorna busied herself with selecting the warmest ones, having lost her ability to deal with the extreme colds after living on Genosha for the past year.

"What do you think?" She asked Bobby, tugging on a pair of mittens as she spoke. All of which was fur lined in as well.

"Maybe I won't shiver to death."
Bobby     "You look ready to hang out with an iceman for the evening." Bobby says with a wink towards Lorna, as he sets the onsie back down on the hook and steps over to Lorna to help her button up the coat she has on. "The fur really suits you, brings out the green in your hair." Bobby smiles his soft blue eyes at the princess.

Then with the woman bundled up Bobby takes one of the kashmire scarfs and starts to wrap it around Lorna's neck, at least to help her get started with the warmth. "Do we need to get some thicker pants for you too?" Bobby asks with that teasing smile of his.
Lorna Dane Lorna glanced down at her pants as Bobby mentioned them, and she leaned passed him to pick up a pair of boots that were higher set and thicker than her own that she was currently wearing. "I'll be okay with just jeans if I have these I think. I mean.. the wind shouldn't be a thing inside, right?" She murmured, and with a wave of her hands, her boots unbuckled and she shoved her feet into the new pair. The set laced up on their own, with her magnetic powers and she straightened up immediately after.

"They take credit card here, right?"
Bobby     "I like your idea more. Getting to see you in jeans is always a treat." Bobby says with a playful wink before he leads Lorna towards the cashier with a motion towards the ice counter. "Yeah, of course they take credit card, but I think I worked a deal with the staff, but I'm not sure- Does it cover clothes purchased too?"

"No sir, the clothes still need to be paid for." The cashier says in a deep Swedish tone as he smiles and seems dangerously friendly.

"Okay, just making sure." Bobby smiles and then nods to Lorna with a stage whisper, "They do take card sweetie." Bobby says with a smirk.
Lorna Dane Lorna rolled her eyes, and she laughed at Bobby's comment, digging into her pocket as she pulled out a leather wallet and fished out her credit card. "I've got it. Don't worry." She drawled, and shook her head as she passed the card over to the clerk and paid her way. She tucked it away, and gestured to Bobby once again.

"Well, lead the way sunshine, where are we going from here?"
Bobby     "Up." Bobby says as he leads Lorna towards the main foyer of the hotel and stops at the hostess desk and grins as she says, "This is the way to your room." The woman says with a motion towards the large crystal like stair case with a special pad set up on each step to prevent slipping. "You're in our presidential suite. At the very top." The woman smiles and hands Bobby a pair of magnetic door cards and smiles.

Bobby leads the way again as he gets to the steps and offers his hand to help Lorna up. "We got a hike to get to our chilly room." He grins.
