Pietro Maximoff It was a new day and it was also the day of Pietro and Karen's scheduled date. They both had to work around their other responsibilities, Karen with being Power Girl AND her actual civilian job while Pietro had to deal with Genoshan business and his duties as an Avenger.

Karen wanted to pick the food this time, or so she said the last time they spent time together, so Pietro was more than happy to do that. He is dressed in a longsleeve dress shirt with nice jeans and running shoes, his silver hair styled and gelled as he took a deep breath and waited where they met last. Maybe she'd bring a picnic?

Home cooked meal?

Pietro was a little nervous. The last date wnet SO WELL! But...now what was he to do? He wasn't in control this time around. And what if like...a massive robot or something attacks? Oh boy.
Karen Starr Home cooked meal, not so much. The actual invitation was a little more traditional, a little more official; an actual invitation to an asian restaurant. Fortunately enough, it didn't take too much effort for the CEO of Starr tech to book things out and avoid audiences. After all, aside from a few weight staff noone was going to know about the meeting, and perhaps they'd simply take it as the signs of some sort of corporate deal.

Her own attire? It was a little more simple than the setting might suggest, a simple black skirt and white button-up blouse underneath a matched business jacket. She might actually have looked as though she'd stepped out of a meeting and into this restaurant.
Pietro Maximoff He was nervous about this, very much so. So, he uses his Super Speed to give him a bit of an edge during his travel to the restaurant. He stops in an alleyway to give him a more non-suspicious arrival into the extremely fancy asian restaurant.

Pietro takes a deep breath as he notices Karen. She dressed simply, but she was no less beautiful for it. He walked towards her, and he reached for her hand if she would allow, and even dared to plant a gentle kiss on her cheek.

"Hey, Karen." Pietro says to her happily. "You look very nice tonight."
Karen Starr She was already there, she was already at the table...but she didn't look impatient. It was simply a case of her liking to have things organized already. That and it was much easier to clear other people out if she took the time. The greeting is returned with a squeeze and a smile, a little peck returned before she gestures for him to take a seat of his own.

"Thanks," she offers lightly and...rather plainly. Powers and skills she might have, but this stuff was clearly not among them. "You too...I hope this isn't a bit much but...thought it might be nice. Taste of something different."
Pietro Maximoff Pietro looked happy that she wasn't an impatient woman, otherwise he'd lose her in a heartbeat, despite him having super speed. He seems to smile when she gives him a little peck and he chuckles, a blush clearly touching his face.

H etakes his seat though and he looks at her when a menu is placed in front of him. "Its all well and good, Karen. I don't have these kinds of meals often so...trust me, its welcome." He gives her hand another squeeze. "So, how was the day?'

a pause.

"anything interesting happen?"
Karen Starr A little pause, there's a tilt of her head as she considers her answers. Which 'day' should she really talk about? In the end, this was still public after all. "Interesting in some regards, movement on a few pieces here and there, deals for shipping and research partnerships. A meeting with Wayne tech's representative....all work stuff really," she trails off before giving a little shrugs. "What about you?"
Pietro Maximoff Pietro chuckles just a little bit to Karen as he clasps his hands together. "Wow. Sounds like you've had a really fun time. Anything with the name Wayne attached to it is some pretty serious business." He tells Karen with a look that explains that he's impressed. "No small feat."

"I have been..." he sighs. "Busy of late. Politics on Genosha required me to go and visit my father and sisters for a few days. Which is why answering your calls has been a bit of a challenge." But he did return them! So all is hopefully well. "Thankfully, he's not hellbent on flying a floating fortress anymore, relatively speaking, so I've had some success there."
