Bobby     "So, tbat way, you could pick me up, With your powers, and I can kind of fly through the air like a real super hero..." Bobby says with the largest puppy eyes he's ever given Lorna. Even greater than the ones he used to convince her to let them date again those weeks ago in Genosha. The boyish charm of Bobby's smile and the way his hair flutters in the breeze, and the fact he's drug her back out to the lake once more just adding to the list of reasons, he hopes, for her to take the plunge.

"But if you don't want to, I understand." He says, turning away softly but lifting his eyes up to try and coax her into fulfilling his wish.
Lorna Dane Lorna came along with Bobby only at his immense pleading and puppy dog eyes. She was 'busy' and that meant both with X-men business and Genoshan business. Her father was set to return soon to Genosha, and Scott had been locked in the base below running simulations. His worries of course, had extended to her own about the Sentinels and she'd been sleeping less and less as a result.

As Bobby finally said what he'd wanted to ask her all this time she snorted, and laughed, shaking her head. "Is that //all//? Of course I'll take you on a flight Bobby." She drawled, holding out her hand to the ice powered mutant.

"You //are// a real super hero, even if you have to skate around on ice like a 90s extreme sports kid." She teased lightly, tossing her hair back as she held out both her hands toward him. "Now c'mon. Lets go." Of course it would be //easier// with a car, but that never stopped Lorna.
Bobby     Bobby smiles so big and so brightly, he might outshine the setting sun as he takes both of Lorna's hands and practically melts at her touch. His slightly rough and rugged hands brushing against the pads of Lorna's palms. "Whoa now, I'm not like those extreme 90's kids okay... That's just... ew." Bobby says before cracking another grin instantly. "I feel like the luckiest girl at the ball." He smiles as he waits for the magic to happen.
Lorna Dane Lorna laughed softly, and as Bobby threaded his hands through her own, she lanced her fingers between his giving him a gentle squeeze. "Right so, here's hoping you're not scared of heights." She drawled, and without so much as a count down, lifted the two of them up into the air. She paused a few feet from the ground, just holding him there quite easily, and arched an eyebrow.

"Wooo. We're flying. Woo. Look at us." She teased, and nodded to the ground, all of a step or two beneath them. She was waiting to see his reaction before she went further, hesitating just that much more to make sure he didn't jerk about or wobble or scream.
Bobby     Bobby eeps very softly as he finds his hands being pulled up and he quickly looks down at the ground beneath them and through the subtle movements of his shoes, Lorna can tell he's wiggling his toes. Hehe Bobby giggles aloud and then turns his head and blue eyes to lock onto Lorna. "More." He says almost forcefully. Almost demanding. She is the princess but he can wear the pants in this relationship from time to time.
Lorna Dane Lorna amusedly shot Bobby a look, her lips twitching into a tight pressed smile as she suppressed the urge to laugh at Bobby. It wasn't nice, but he was downright //adorable// when he eep'ed and wiggled his feet beneath him. She doubled their height at a slow incline, a gentle tug upward that was slow and stately. She held him there hovering for a time in a very patient and careful way.

"Okay, don't let go." She paused, and considered, "I mean I could likely catch you anyways through the magnetic fields and we don't even need to hold hands, but it makes me feel better." She drawled lightly, and they slowly started to drift upward, nearly like two balloons floating and drifting in a lazy way into the sky.
Bobby     "It makes me feel better too princess." Bobby whispers as he squeezes onto Lorna's hand, not for dear life, but it's not lightly either. Bobby wants to press his cheek against her shoulder, to show some more affection but he's beyond happy as his eyes slowly drift away from Lorna to suck in the same sights he's seen before when he's made ice slides this high or higher, but this. This is exactly different. He is in a moment of rapture with the love of his life doing it for him. Heaven.
Lorna Dane Lorna flashed Bobby a grin, returning the gentle squeeze of his hand around her own. She glanced down and didn't even blink, though now the pace of their slow rise had increased slightly. She was getting impatient. He wanted to fly, and she was still trying to take care of him despite her intense desire to just let loose and whip about in the magnetic fields as she usually did.

They broke the tree line in short order and she paused, slowing to a halt to give Bobby the chance to ask to go down or up, and a chance for him to admire the view of the sweeping foliage as it slowly turned toward fall shades where frost had already pricked at the edges of the leaves and turned them gold, orange, and red. Summer was fading fast, and soon it would be winter.. And Bobby's element. For all that Lorna couldn't stand being cold anymore.
Bobby     Bobby takes in a sharp breath and leans into Lorna to feel her against him, her warmth in the cold air felt by the cyrowizard. "It's beautiful Lorna, but there's one thing... I trust you. Don't hold back for my sake. I know you'll take care of me." He says with a kiss to her cheek and then a calm peaceful smile as he's at peace for once.
Lorna Dane Lorna blinked as Bobby called her out on going slow for his sake and she arched a thin green eyebrow upward in response. She was //always// holding back. She hadn't ever truly been pushed to her limits, she wasn't even sure what those were. Sure she tried her best and pushed herself in exercises and in Danger Room practices.. missions and the alike.. But she'd never well and truly been so desperate to put everything behind one solid push of her powers.

She'd never had the opportunity to do so.

Still, even then, she held back as she spun them about once, grinning at Bobby as she lifted the both of them into the air at a much faster clip, and they were well and truly flying above the lake and the open vastness of it all. The trees thoroughly distant beneath them.
Bobby     Bobby yelps as he feels the ground get sucked away by them, be it them being pulled through the magnetic specturm or pushed, Bobby knows they're moving through the atmosphere with incredible power as he and Lorna soar. And as they're going he feels the urge to roar with the wind rushing past his ears.

"Waaahoooo!" The x-men celebrates with glee while holding tighter and tighter but never doubting his safety.
