Owner	Pose
Bobby	Bobby's floating in the water, with his arms up on a floaty that he's brought out for Lorna to float on. "P-Promise me. Pr-prooommise me you-y-you'll nev-never let go." Bobby says, his chin shaking and his teeth clattering in his mouth as if he was freezing to death in the frigid waters of the north Atlantic but instead he's in the cool pond, smiling at Lorna between his acting demonstrations.
Lorna Dane	It had been far warmer than it should be in October, warmer than it had any right to be for fall. Yet it was the last gasps of summer. The last minutes before the bite came back into the air to stay and froze away the greenery for another winter. Lorna herself was already shivering in the cool water, far too used to the tropical climate of Genosha and she made a face at Bobby as he reenacted Jack from the Titanic's death. "Oh come on Bobby, like you could ever freeze to death." She rolled her eyes, stifling a laugh even as she smiled and curled up on the float and wrapped her arms around her knees which were covered in goosebumps despite the sunshine that warmed the air. She'd dipped in all of once, and proceeded to be far too cold to want to go back into the water. Though technically it held the heat from the Summer far longer than the air around the two. She was back in her black one piece swimsuit, her green hair hanging damply against the back of her neck.
Bobby	"Not funny I suppose, and yeah, if I froze to death, everyone eles is probably long gone before hand." Bobby says without even a hint of somber in his voice as he starts to rise up through the water until he was exposed from the waist up. "We haven't been able to catch up so much lately, what have you been up to honey?" The x-man asks as he tries to fight to keep the relationship at its zenith.
Lorna Dane	Lorna scooted over on the float, even as it dipped with Bobby's weight as he pulled himself up against it and the whole of the inflatable sank partially into the water. Lorna shivered, but maintained her spot and balance via the magnetic fields that kept her stable. She flashed the blonde mutant beside her a grin, even if it didn't completely reach her eyes. There were shadows there, hints of stress and worry that she didn't want to impart with him. "Father's returned to Genosha more or less. So that's always good, right? No more Fortress M off the coast of NYC to threaten the US." She exhaled a breath, and reached up to tangle her hand with Bobby's as he settled.
Bobby	Using ice, Bobby helps himself onto the float next to Lorna and holds onto the princess's hand with that ever present grin. "Oh good, Dad went back home and stopped threating the free world with war and death. Glad to see he's calmed down." Bobby says with a hint of sarcasm, which, he and Erik have traded blows before. Many times.     "That's not all Lorna, I can tell when your eyes stop glittering, that means you're hiding something or lying, or you have to go to the bathroom... which is it?" Bobby asks before he reaches over with his free hand to attack at Lorna's ribs with dexterous fingers trying to make her laugh.
Lorna Dane	Lorna exhaled a breath as Bobby settled beside her and she eyed him at his sarcastic words regarding her father's return to Genosha. She shook her head simply, and she leaned her frame against his. Even if the ice that helped him balance onto the float was //cold//. At least up until Bobby started to call her on keeping things from him. She bit her lower lip, and she squirmed beneath his fingers as he traced his hand over her side and she exhaled a chortle of laughter that was barely restrained. "S-stop, I can't- Ha-" She bit her lower lip again, trying to not fall into a complete string of giggles as Bobby tickled her.
Bobby	Bobby's eyes light up and he goes at her ribs for a few more seconds before he finally surrenders and allows Lorna to breath and hopefully confess. "Out with it princess, or the, uh, princess gets it again." Bobby says, poking at her rib with two fingers as if he was a strong arm torturer and was going to do his job to get the Genoshian Royalty to give up her secrets.
Lorna Dane	Lorna was barely holding onto the float as she laughed, slipping partly into the cool water as Bobby tickled her. She caught her breath as he stopped, her eyes watering faintly as she coughed and reclaimed her seat on the float. Just a little more damp than before. She huffed a breath, swatting at his hand as he threatened to tickle her again. "You know, if I had to go to the bathroom before, I wouldn't have to //now//." She shot back, giving her boyfriend a look. Still, she prodding him in return with her index finger, and shook her head. "It's not much. Really. Just.. I had to deal with more politics than I was comfortable with. I really felt out of my depth and lost. I hate feeling that way.. Like everyone knows something that I don't know. I only know that they're planning to try to use me.. but I can't afford to not play the game either.."
Bobby	Bobby's eyebrow furrows as he's not aware of the laughter reflex of women but he doesn't press the subject until it dawns on him what she might be hinting at but he stops himself as Lorna continues onto the more meaningful part of the conversation. "What do you mean Lorna? What're you talking about?" The blonde man asks as he moves his hand to gather her index finger and hold it.
Lorna Dane	Lorna shifted to sigh and sag against Bobby's frame as he gathered up her hand and held it. She tilted her head to rest it against his shoulder. She grimaced, "I'm trying a new route to try to get Genosha business contracts. I just.. I feel so out of my depth." She closed her eyes briefly as she closed eyes briefly and seemed to take time to just enjoy floating on the lake beside her boyfriend. "Everyone has plans and agendas. I just.. I thought I knew how to handle that kind of thing after the past year. But I just.. I don't know anymore. Sorry its all so vague, but I'm still trying to sort out my feelings."
Bobby	"It's very vague." Bobby says as he opens up and pulls Lorna to him as she wants to cuddle on the raft and he wants nothing more. "I'm gonna miss this swimsuit." He whsipers into her ear before shrugging and then kissing the top of her forehead. "If you need to talk it out more, I'm not going anywhere." Bobby admits as he wraps his arms around her and smiles weakly against her.
Lorna Dane	Lorna wanted to do things right with Bobby, but the secrets, they were starting again. This time, she held them close, convinced it was safer, better to not share the details with him. She found comfort instead by leaning against him, holding his hand and remaining curled up beside him. "I wish I could earn my place in Genosha, the world.. everything without being in the shadow of my father. But I'll never have that.. will I? People will always see me in comparison to him." She pursed her lips together, exhaling a breath and shifting to lift her head up from Bobby's shoulder. "I guess it's all just bothering me more than usual."
Bobby	"Maybe not in comparison, but at lesat a connection. You are your father's daughter, but you are also your own person." Bobby says, lowering his eyebrows curiusly as he holds onto the green haired goddess. "Why. What happened. Something's set you off, you're usually less concerned about him and more your self and your people." Bobby frowns.
Lorna Dane	Lorna shifted against her boyfriend's figure, her thumb grazing carefully against his knuckles as she held onto him and kept her gaze trained on the ice powered mutant. She smiled weakly at him, and then glanced back down. "I hired Jamie to look into my mother death." She offered, skirting the issue. It was another secret. A dangerous one. But somehow, in her mind, she saw it was the lesser of two evils. "The anniversary of her death was last month.." She exhaled a soft breath, shifting to sink her legs into the water's edge. "I just.. it's been bothering me. That she and her husband died in a plane crash when I was three. I survived. How can that happen Bobby? How?"
Bobby	"I- I think we both know how but you wont or don't like the answer, so... lets move on sweetheart." Bobby says, trying to hide his from from his girlfriend and instead just gives her a quick kiss on her cheek.
