Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie is just now walking into the Rec Room, he has a few boxes with him, about shoe box size, but not as tall. He heads towards the mini bar sitting them down, moving to get himself a drink.
Shannon	Shannon seems to be completely oblivious at this point to most everything around her, humming a classic 1980's rock anthem and giggling every couple lines. There's a very rosy hue to her cheeks, and she seems to be walking on clouds as she heads for the mini-bar, and her usual root beer.
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie 's brow raises a bit but seeing her come, he does get her drink and sets it beside the boxes and says "Hmms looks like ya found a way to float without using the wings." He teases playfully.
Shannon	Shannon doesn't even say a word, just hugs the stuffings out of Sam. Not until she raises her glass in thanks and a toast, and a good swig of the root beer disappears down her throat, does she even manage to speak. "Huh? I am? Crap, did I wind up with a new power or something?"
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit and hugs her back "And I didn't even get eaten by a dino." He jokes at the hug "Was more a figure of speech, you seem happy." He tells her getting his own drink and picking up the boxes leading her toward couch and arm chairs.
Shannon	Shannon can't help giggling, her blush turning even brighter. "Guess I can't help it." Then it sinks in. Dinos?! "Wait... wha....? Dinos?! What the heck have you been doing, big brother?" Her eyebrows loft and she crosses her arms. "Do I need to be healing anyone in the medbay again?"
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie shakes his head, and says "Na, a few scraps and bruises, think the worse is Kitty might need a few stitches from the raptors. He tells her. He had a seat, and says "We got a destress call, and had to head up to the Savage land to help some scientists. Turned out were some mercenaries trying to militarize some of the dinos there to do their bidding.
Shannon	Shannon nods, the twinkle in her eyes never quite fading, even if her smile does, briefly. For a moment, she's gone into business mode. "I'll have to visit Kitty later, see if she'll want help. If they're only letting her go with a few stitches, it's probably not too bad but still, it'd set my mind at ease checking." Her eyes widen. "Wait, what are the Savage Lands? Holy... you weren't pulling my leg about dinosaurs, were you?"
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie says, "shakes his head, and says "It is place in Antartica that is a lost land sorta, it is a real place with dinos, native people and such. I took a few pictures if you want to see them." He pulls out his phone to show you, and yup there are pterodactyls and other types of dinos, most of them are taken from a distance. I looked for a souvenir shop to get you a "My brother went to the savage land, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt." but could not find one, so had to go with a different thing for you, and the little ones.""
Shannon	"You're shitting me, right?" But no, the pictures don't lie, Shannon's pale azure eyes going as wide as dinner plates when she saw. "Holy crow. So that's where Jurassic Park got it from! Please tell me nobody got eaten?" The boxes get a quick glance from her, curiosity piqued, her eyebrows raised.
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie smiles a bit "Well actually two people sorta got ate, but both of them were not hurt by being hurt. Ah through Emma while she was in diamond form, and thought she would hit it, well she did in the teeth and right down the gullet. And another one of the T-rex's ate Rogue. Did not end well for the dinos.
Shannon	Shannon wrinkles her nose, and tries unsuccessfully not to giggie. "Oh, man, those two are going to be bathing for a month just to get rid of the stink of dino innards." She chortles, flopping down on the couch, on her stomach, wings fluttering as if to some music only she can hear. Yeah. There was going to be no bringing this one down from out of the clouds for very long,
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie smiles and says "So, you going to tell me what has you floating on clouds?" He will ask her, as he starts putting names on the boxes
Shannon	Shannon giggles and nods towards the boxes. "Maybe if you show me what's in those boxes? I can't imagine, from the sound of things, that they'd have been real big on souvenir shops." She inches over towards the arm of the couch, crossing her forearms atop it and resting her chin atop them.
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie writes her name on one of the boxes and says "Well Ah told you where Ah was and a bit of what happened, it is your turn to tell me something first I think.
Shannon	Shannon giggles and has gone all starry-eyed. "Just a good, long talk with Bean. It... went well." Uh-oh. Was Sam going to have to talk to Sam?
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie 's bro raises and says "Really now, and what did you talk about?" He holds out the box but not letting it loose yet.
Shannon	Shannon sighs contently. "Lots of things. About how far he's come since arriving here. About how the mac 'n cheese I made reminded him of something way back in his childhood, something good. A little about the danger room run Kurt took us on... he still refused my healing him. Actually was holding hands, though. That's... huge for him. And he touched my face a little bit. And ummmm... well, he was asking what kind of movies I like...."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie 's brows both raise, and he says "Oh really now?" He does let the box go if she is trying to take it now, it has a little bit of weight to it "So, what type of movies hmmms."
Shannon	Shannon shakes her head, plucking the box from Sam's hands, with a grateful smile. "We didn't get to talk about that too much. He almost face-planted into his mac 'n cheese, said he was feeling a little dizzy, and let me help him back to his dorm. I did leave a quick message with the wellness office, they'll have matters well in hand."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Well that is good to hear that he is being taken care of." He will watch her, when she opens the box she will find a real T-Rex tooth, cleaned all the gooy bots and such gone but still fresh within a day of being in the mouth of the dino.
Shannon	"Holy crap..." Shannon's eyes go wide at the gift, and she gingerly touches the tough as if it were a mirage. Nope, that was quite real. "This is awesome! But... how did you get it?"
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie says, "Well we had to fight a few of them and some raptors, and there were some teeth I could pick up off the ground afterwards pretty simply."
Shannon	Shannon giggles, reaching out to lightly tap her knuckles on Sam's forehead. "Did your thick skull come into play there? Showing 'em why you got your name?" She puffs up with no small amount of pride, listening intently to his tale.
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie chuckles and says "Ah only hit one Rex, I actually ended up putting the whole blasting to more use on some trucks they were using to kidnap people with.
Shannon	Shannon nods slowly, glancing between the dino tooth and Sam. "I almost feel bad for the dinos. Hope they hav good dental plans." She squeals with laughter, picking up the tooth from the box. It's got a fair bit of heft to it, for its size.
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie says, "Well I will be honest, did not end the best for some of them, but was not a lot we could do to help that, and the local carnivores, and scavengers will be happy for a couple days. Tried to do as little harm as we could to them, but well sometime there is not choice."
Shannon	Shannon nods slowly. "If it comes to a choice between the local fauna and your team, always choose your team." She smiles some, looking up at Sam. "Couldn't be prouder of you. You're handling stuff I don't know if I ever could."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "Ah was not leading the mission, actually was one of the three junior members on the run to be honest." He tells her.
Shannon	Shannon tosses a pillow at Sam to chide him, then gets up from the couch to give him a great big hug. "Doesn't matter. Still proud of you. Hey, I'm enitled to be. One day you'll be hearing about a mission I was on, and you'll be the one saying it to me." She smiles and looks down at the box, and its unusual, somewhat grisly contents. "Thank you so much... don't think this night could've gone any more right if it'd been planned that way."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie hugs her back, and says "Ah already have been, but it is getting close to lights out." he will tell her noticing the time "Get some rest, morning coming early in the AM
