Owner Pose
Raissa Raissa was not one to wander out a lot for entertainment, but when she did, she usually sought out a bit of upper class places. And she'd heard nothing but good things about The Blue Lady. The woman enters by herself and her coat is given over easily. Her green eyes flick over the crowd and there's a soft smile that quirks her lips up.

She makes her way across the floor and towards the bar area, she didn't have a want to sit anywhere else for the moment. She's dressed in a black gown that is perfectly tailored to her form and red heels that give a pop of color. Her hair is worn mostly up, but there are trendils that have escaped and rest on her shoulders. "Could I have a whisky on the rocks?" she asks the bartender as she settles into a seat.
Thomas Raith Yosa, the one eye'd bartender who rather resembles Bruce Willis from RED, nods his approval at her drink order, taking out the glass and filling it expertly. From beside her a voice that is as smooth as smoke over still water says simply, "On me Yosa, and pour me my usual." The one eyed man grunts again, taking a crystal decanter from under the bar, filling a glass and leaving it sit beside the man's hand. "Yosa is an incredible bartender. Not much of a conversationalist though." This gets anotehr grunt from the man who then moves away.
Raissa Raissa gives a ruby lipped smile to Yosa, "Thank you." she tells him. But she does quirk an elegant brow as she looks over to see the owner of the voice. She didn't see men that pale before, but it's intriguing more than anything. "That is very nice of you, sir." she smiles to Thomas. Then there is a soft chuckle, "I am very used to men that can make a fine drink, but can't converse. I don't think it's a bad quality." she tells him.

"You don't seem like a man that works here, would you be the proprietor?" she asks him.
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith nods slightly and smirks ever so slightly, tipping an invisible cap as it were to her. "Thomas Raith, and yes i am the owner of the Blue Lady." He sips his drink and looks her over, "So i'm trying to think here. Beautiful woman comes into a place like this alone. No wedding ring. So either you are the sort who likes to be flirted with, or else trying to quietly unwind.."
Raissa Raissa offers her hand in greeting, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Mister Raith. I'm Doctor Raissa Basarab." she offers with a warm smile. "You have a lovely establishment." she adds in her accented tone. It's not a common one. Then she gives a curious look to him when he's trying to figure her out, "Oh, no, not married." she shakes her head. "I am currently unattached and wanted a nice place to enjoy some music. This was a highly suggested spot." she tells him. "And I never mind being flirted with." she smiles to that.
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith smirks wickedly, "Oh then you have definately come to the right place." He says with a grin... and Yosa gives a dry sort of snort at that as well. "A doctor? Medicine or some other field?" he asks curiously, his gaze taking it's time, wandering over her and taking in the entire package, though he at least looks to her face when he speeks.
Raissa Raissa gives a chuckle when he smirks wickedly. She'd seen that smirk on a hundred different faces over all of her years, but, his face was far more handsome than most. "Oh so I will get to hear quality music and be flirted with. How can a girl resist those things?" she muses. "I am a a Doctor of Archaeology and Ancient History." she tells him. "They are both fun subjects." she offers idly.
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith grins slightly and tilts his head. "Well they travel hand in hand don't they? I mean it would be like studing playwriting as well as set design. On one hand you get to tell the story, on the other see the stage where all the dram took place."
Raissa Raissa gives a bit of a chuckle, "They do go hand and hand, yes." she tells him with a soft nod of her head. "I've never been one for being in the spotlight though, so I'll let someone else handle that." she admits with a grin to him. "And what do you like to do when you aren't taking care of your club, Mister Raith? Or well...besides flirting with the ladies that come in." she teases him gently.
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith smirks slightly looking around a bit, "Oh this is a good part of my life. As a wise man once said, make your vocation your vacation and all that." He sips the amber liquid from his glass, refills it from his decanter, and signals Yosa to top off her glass with the whiskey she ordered. "I sold my shares in the family business to my older sisters to buy this place. Not to brag but less then a year later we will be having our first quarter completely in the black."
Raissa "I guess it is good to test your charms every now and again." Raissa tells him with a soft smile. "That's good advice really." she adds with a nod to that. "So what is the family business?" she asks him. "If that isn't too forward of me to ask. I don't want to talk on subjects that would be taboo on a first meeting." she assures him before she picks her glass up and sips at her drink.
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith's cheek pink just a little bit and his sheepish expression is one that says "Well you caught me with my hand in the cookie jar, not what are you going to do?" he sips his drinks slightrly and says "Well you see, my family owns Silverlight Entertainment." which is a name most people would know. It is after all somewhere between Brazzers and Playboy in it's notoriety. "I inherited a 15 percent share in the company when I turned 18."
Raissa Raissa gives a soft chuckle, "Did I? Really now..." she muses on how to handle that. "But I think I'd rather get to know you a bit more before I get all googly eyed." she winks at him. The name of the company is known and there's a nod to him, "I have heard of them, yes. Why did you get out of the business? Just not something you wanted to be a part of or?" she asks.
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith shrugs a bit, tilting his head slightly, "Well you know how I said about making your vacation your vocation? Sort of the opposite of that." He says with a smile. "I love sex. One of my favorite past times in fact. Porn isn't sex. At least it's no closer to sex then Food advertising is to gourmet cooking. Sure, the finished product /looks/ good... but that's only because you aren't there under the lights, hearing about the cramps from kneeling on concrete floors, dealing with jealous boyfriends, all of that sort of thing.
