Cast of Characters: Hawkeye (Barton), Willow Rosenberg

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Clint Barton enter the Magix Box, small sportbag in hand. He's dressed casually, just another customer for the shop. Stopping at the door, he glances around quickly - man, so much trinkets, potions, whatnots! There ain't lots of clients at this time, which is perfect for Clint.

Stepping in, noticing the bookcases in the middle of the room, he moves over there to check on the available books.

"Right... wicca... voodoo... zombies...where... woah, that's not even in English!...Nice collection tho. "

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow was picking up an extra bit of work. Not that it was hard to do! Mostly she read a book. Come mid-month it would pick up.

Enter Clint Barton. Not your usual customer. In fact, why was he here?

Willow watches him curiously. "Can I help you?"

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Offering a smile at the young woman, Clint nods at her, making eye contact with her. Hopefully, yes, she can help. What he is looking for might not be offered on the shelves in the store.

"Hi miss," he says, "Yes, actually, I'm looking for whatever books you might have on the Underworld, or Underworlds. You know, Hell, Hades, Tartarus, that kind of material. Something that can't be found at the New York Public Library, cuz I already went there."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Ah, I was just going to say.." Willow stepped out behind the cash register, and bid him to follow. "You realize, there are as many versions of hell as there are versions of heaven. What are you looking for? Just a quick version of the whole thing, or a specific kind. For instance .."

Willow picked out a hardbound books.

"This one explains the history of several types. While, this one over here looks at demons."

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Clint takes the one of the books she is showing him, not seemingly interested about demons. He quickly flips the pages, seeing all sort of information he already found in other books, even online. He frowns lightly, thinking.

"More specifically," he says, "I'm looking for some sort of first hand account." He almost laughs at that, yeah, first hand account of Hell.

But hey, this is the Magic Box after all, they must have some strange requests from clients here.

"Like, k'know, kind of a Michelin Guide to Hell."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Ohhh." Willow put those books on the shelves. "Is there any reason you want to know about a first hand account?" She thinks about Sam and Dean Winchester, but they are not in the city right now.

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Clint seems to ponder about what he should answer, hesitating between all the possible shades of truth. Sighing lightly, as if he just decided on an option, he nods.

"Alright," he starts, "Promise you don't get me committed for this, ok?" He grins, "I need to talk to someone in Hell"

There! Simple enough, hey?

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Anybody else would have given him a 'what you talk'in bout, Willis?' look.

Willow has a different kind of response.

"You do know, it's dangerous, don't you? Usually people are in hell for a good reason." Except when they are prisoners! "I haven't been there, but maybe I can help you." Meanwhile, she thinks, he really could have learned about the demons. In fact, she pulls that book out of the shelves. He's gonna need this.

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
"Trust me, that one has a good reason to be there," Clint replies.

He glances at the book on demons she just retrieved from the shelves. She must be right, Hell can't be your next Club Med.

"Just to make it clear, I need to talk to someone. If it could be done without actually visitin', I'd take on that offer. Dunno, do you guys do seances, that kind of..." He was going to say gimmick, but decides for "Communication?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Let's be frank. Seances, like in the moves, isn't the real thing. Okay?" Would she do it for him? Hell, she not really certain if she *could* do it. "Are you certain? Because, really, you don't want to be messing up somethings."

Willow cocks her head to one side.

"May I ask, you said it wasn't a demon, right? But you want to be certain.. he? He. Is done there. What makes you so certain that they are in hell?"

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Oh, that is a very good question. One might be persuaded that a person deserves to be in Hell, and should go there, and remain there for all eternity. Facts or religious folklore? Who really knows, if there is an actual place called Hell, and all that jazz?

"You've got a point," Clint replies. "Better find a way to make sure he's there..." He frowns, lost in thoughts for a moment, "He /should/ be there, he's a killer. Not a real demon, more like a human fiend."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
There are killers and then there are KILLERs. It all depends on your point of view. Buffy slew monsters for the most part. The Hunters.. enh.. depends? But these people were good. See?

"There are Barghest who are the window between living and dead. Sorta of. That would be one way. And your seance."

And a few things besides.

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Clint listens, visibly interested by all the options. Scratching the back of his head, something he does when he's not quite certain about something, he nods.

"Barghest," he repeats, "Never heard of that one. But hey, ye're the expert here. What would you suggest first? You've showed me more options than buying a two-way ticket to Hell, if anything could work from here, I'm in. No matter the cost."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow wasn't certain how to find a Barghest, but it would be one she would check out. "Except, I don't know how to find one. Then I would try a seance next. But with the Barghest you may not feel the need of the seance."

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
"Well," Clint replies, grinning, "All I've got to do is find me a barghest!"

He looks around at the store, towards the bookcases. "Maybe you can find how, in some of them books," he suggests. "I'll do some lookin' around myself. Say, d'you mind if I drop by in a few days, and we'll see how we did with the research?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow smiles. "Sounds like a deal. Let me guess, you don't want the books."

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Well, yes, books could be useful. Clint happily takes the books, and pays for them. This will make a change from reading from AARs!

"Thanks, for the books, and the help. I'll drop by in a few days. You've been of great help."

Books in hand, Clint leaves, sure that he'll be back here soon enough.
