Mystery at the Mess

Synopsis:	Nat and Skye catch up a little.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
Natasha was already in the food court, a plastic tray in front of her with a small array of various dishes. One item was on it's own plate, aside from the main plate. Atop it was something brown and square, with a generous helping of brown gravy atop it.

She was staring at it how she might something in a lab through a microscope.

Quake has posed:
Skye waltzed in there and avoided the food line. Instead she got the biggest coffee they had, and two chocolate - all for under 5 bucks. Spying Nat, she wandered over and sat down, and proceeded to open one chocolate bar. "What's that?" Pointing at the gravy covered thing.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"Hey," Natasha says by way of greeting, forcing her gaze away from the pile o'brown and looking at Skye instead. It's a much better view, after all.

"I've heard four theories. Everyone keeps ordering it, trying to solve it. I think some of the guys even took it down to the lab for analyses. They claim it is meatloaf."

She peeks at the dish then back to Skye. "I don't believe them."

Quake has posed:
"Ew?" Skye stares at the square. "That doesn't look like meatloaf, at all."

She holds up her chocolate bar. "When in doubt, eat these. It's how I survived my teenage years." And Cup'o'Ramen.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
That gets a smirk from Natasha. "I'm not sure that chocolate is a good substitute for nutrition." A peek at the meatloaf. "Although probably has more than that stuff."

She focuses on the rest of her food which consists of some veggies and a green salad. "I suppose I should just taste it but I'm afraid I might die on the spot. Haven't lived this long to die from mystery meat."

Focus on other things. "Any luck on IcedLotus? Cause I've had none on Molotov."

Quake has posed:
Skye laughs, and takes a bite before answering. "No. It's as though she's gone silent after getting her answer. I don't like it one bit. Even the dark net seems to have no knowledge. No new people with her quirks. Nothing."

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"Took years before Molotov raised his head again. Just be patient. They always eventually make a mistake," Natasha says as she spears a few bits of lettuce with her fork.

"What's that phrase? Slow and steady wins the race? Well, I guess if it's a marathon. Maybe. Come to think of it, that phrase doesn't really make sense at all considering some of these marathon runners these days."

Quake has posed:
"True." Skye took another bite of her chocolate bar. "Just.. seems odd. Normally she peppers her name, if you know what you are looking at."

But she listens to her.

"What about you? Nothing on Molotov?"
