Yondu Udonta has posed:
It's evening, and the sun is setting, it's pretty colours played across the sky. The clouds had only just recently broken from a rain that had been falling earlier. The park is relatively quiet, and Yondu has settled himself upon the bench of one of the picnic tables near to one of the fire pits. He holds an apple in his left hand, and a knife in his right hand, though the apple is yet whole.

There's no fire that's burning, and the nearest streetlight gives some light to where he's sitting. Shifting slightly, he leans back against the picnic table and takes a moment to look over toward the distant shores, where the tour boats are docked. He grunts softly, then gives a small shake of his head before he uses the knife to cut the apple in half, setting one half of it on the bench next to him before he cuts a smaller section from the other half still in his hand.

Scarlet Witch has posed:
One of the prettier things in life to watch is the setting sun. Especially when that setting sun casts all the colors of its glory upon the waterfront. Wanda is sitting at the end of one of those docks, cross-legged and looking out to the ocean, to the colors of the fading light. Thus she remains, until the colors have all faded and darkness taken hold of this part of the world.

Only then does Wanda Maximoff rise to her feet. She turns and walks down the dock, booted feet thumping lightly upon the wooden planks with each step. Stealthy she is not. She makes her way off the dock and into the park proper, her steps angling to take her past the blue man with his apple. She doesn't look at him initially, but then the blue catches her attention. And the red fin. She pauses and blinks once, before turning her head to look at the man.

Yondu Udonta has posed:
The core of the half an apple has been cut free, and Yondu deftly tossed it into the firepit that's not far from him. Some wild creature will find it over the course of the night, no doubt. He cuts a wedge from the cored half, then takes a bite of the wedge before chewing it. He looks up towards the sky for a brief moment, admiring the colours that play across it. It's a lovely tableau, really. Thankfully, his crew have no idea that he spends his free time in such a way.

He eats the rest of the wedge of apple, and then he moves the knife to cut a new wedge from the apple. He shifts his weight slightly, and he lifts his red gaze towards the woman as she walks from the dock to the park proper. He doesn't watch her for long before he looks out towards the water, and he takes a bite of the current wedge of apple. He glances towards the bech not far from him, which is enough space for another to sit and then some, and then he lifts his gaze to her. He gestures to the bench, with his knife. "Y'can have a seat, if'n ye like," he offers. "Ain't gonna bite."

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda Maximoff has no crew to worry about, but she is part of a team she cares very much about. A team from which she doesn't have to take pains to hide who she is. Her eyes linger on the blue skinned man for long enough that she realizes she's staring. And has been for several moments. Her lips curl up at his reassurance. "Oh, I'm not worried about you biting me," she says.

"Most people would be more worried about me biting them than someone else biting me. I think I will have a seat, though." She turns and walks the short distance seperating her from the bench. She drops down onto the bench at the far end, then turns to face the man, her left foot coming up to rest atop its surface. She wraps her arms around her lifted up knee as she watches him.

Yondu Udonta has posed:
Pirates generally have a different mindset than what heroes do. They don't want a leader that has 'soft spots' for certain things. Things like sunsets. Or kittens. One of his eyebrows quirks up as he looks to the redheaded woman, and he grunts softly before he gives a nod. "Well, I reckon that's a good thing, then," Yondu comments, giving a small nod to her.

Then he chuckles softly, his red eyes reflecting a bit of amusement to them. "Ain't sure I'd be mindin' if'n ye did, ma'am, if'n ye'll be pardonin' th' fact I said so," he says, amused. He glances towards the half an apple that still has the core in it, and then he looks to her again. "Apple?" he offers, gesturing towards that half. He eats the rest of the wedge he'd started moments ago, and then his gaze turns back to her, watching her. "Ain't eatin' it wrong, am I?" he asks with a bit of amusement. His voice, when he speaks, is a bit gravelly, sounding almost as though he doesn't use it very much.

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda Maximoff leans back to the extent of her arms and looks up at the sky, the stars sparkling within the darkness. She snorts a laugh and looks back to the man. "If I decided to bite you, I doubt it would be the type of biting you would enjoy," she says, her tone more on the dry end of things than not.

As for the apple, she shakes her head. "No thanks. I had pizza just before coming to watch the sunset." Now, if he'd been here for long, he would know she hadn't walked onto that dock just before the sunset like she's claiming. She considers the apple and then shrugs. "Isn't really a right way or a wrong way to eat an apple," she says. "Or anything else, really. Easier or harder ways, but no really wrong way."

Yondu Udonta has posed:
There's a snort and then a gruff sort of chuckle from the blue fellow, and he gives a nod. "Oh, I reckon so, ma'am, an' I reckon if I did somethin' that'd earn it then I'd not hold it 'gainst ye," he says, a smile tugging his lips. He cuts another wedge from the apple, careful with the knife without seeming to be so that he doesn't cut himself in the process.

He takes a bite of half the wedge, watching her for a moment whilst he chews and swallows. Then he lifts his right hand to gesture towards the dock that she'd approached from. "Suit yerself. If'n ye change yer mind then ye can help yerself. I try an' do things smarter instead o' harder," he comments, a smile returning to his features. He sets the knife aside, then wipes his fingers on a handkerchief before offering his right hand to her. "Yondu Udonta," he offers by way of introduction.
