Cast of Characters: Batman, Harley Quinn

Batman has posed:
Another night, another patrol.

6 petty robberies, 3 attempted major bank robberies, 17 attempted murders, and five members of the infamous Rogues Gallery put back in Arkham: Two-Face, Bane, Scarecrow, Freeze, and Riddler. It's been a long night. Batman's armor looked like it had seen better days. Burn marks, bullet impacts that look like it didn't fully penetrate, some knife wounds that -definitely- penetrated, and other blunt force trauma marks the armor of the Bat.

Yet he still looks over the city. Still looks up to the light that strikes into the night sky. It was a clear sky day, despite the tendency for it to rain in Gotham.

A long night.

Harley Quinn has posed:
The flare that goes up on a nearby rooftop isn't exactly threatening, but it definitely catches his attention. It's bright and crimson colored, with streaks of white and gold mingled in the firework that's used.

On that rooftop, Harley Quinn lays on her back, the jumbo sized flaregun in her hand, wearing her harlequin outfit with a little bit of slightly risque alterations made mostly around the booby area. She has her legs crossed and she's sighing to herself, black lipstick framing her white teeth as she exaggeratedly makes thoughtful noises. HMMMMMMMMMMMM. GOSH. HUH.

Batman has posed:
Batman turns his head to Harey Quinn's direction as she makes thoughtful noises. LOUD thoughtful noises. He turns from where he was, his cape curtaining much of his body as he approaches Harley.

"Quinn."

His voice was deep and no-nonsense. His eyes never left her. Her provocative outfit has not left him in a daze like it would many Joker thugs or onlookers unlucky enough to cross her path.

Harley Quinn has posed:
Harley sits up and looks around for a moment, "Jesus, is that you?" she says, clutching her hands to her heart.

But then she turns and sees Batman and pops up to her feet, "Oh! I mean, not that you're not good, it's just...not what I expected," she grins.

She takes a moment to straighten her pigtails, "Just so you knows, Batsy, I ain't here to hurt nobody. I'm just doin' some thinkin', real deep thinkin'. I am a doctor, after all, ,don't forget that, I can do some big time thinks.

Batman has posed:
"No."

Not quite Him, but maybe close to as scary. Batman looks at Harley Quinn with the same deadpanned expression that he always had when he fought against her and the Joker or any other number of teamups that have happened between Arkham sorties over the years. He's told that she's not here to hurt anybody.

He doesn't trust it for a second.

She had a PhD. It was true. If only intelligence and moral sense walked hand in hand with one another, perhaps Harley couldv'e avoided her fate wit hthe Joker. But that's all theoretics, not actuality.

"Rarely have you done anything without harming someone, Quinn. What's your angle."

Harley Quinn has posed:
"My angle. Well, I'm acute as a button," she says, putting her face on her hands and making a big smile.

"But seriously - well, I'm never serious, you know that, chronically incapable, even medically incapable, it's in my diagnoses an' everything, serious don't enter my pretty little head no more, but I really do think maybe Joker might be bad. Just a little bit. Maybe more'n a little bit. I think he might be a big pile of shit, Batman. What do you think?"

Batman has posed:
Batman doesn't believe in stupid questions. Luckily for Harley, despite tempting to break such a mental agreement with himself, he doesn't call her out for her question. Instead he watches her. He's almost staring. Almost.

"The Joker is clinically insane. He needs help. He's bad, some might call him the devil. He was never a good person, Harley."

Batman stands exactly where he is. He doesn't move closer. He doesn't move farther. He stays -right there- as he should.
