Synopsis: Thor brings the idea of constructing a new Bifrost to Stark and Strange, though with the caveat that Loki shall be heading up efforts for it.
Cast of Characters: Thor, Iron Man, Doctor Strange

Thor has posed:
The message that reached Tony didn't say it was Thor, but all it took was his systems analyzing the audio stream to verify the speaker. Yet even then if that technology had somehow been on the fritz it would be discernible not just simply from that accent, but the way how it started in the middle of the message as if the person who was leaving it started talking without even listening to the pick up response.
// ... so that is where I shall be, Stark. Your presence would be greatly appreciated. I know not if this is your purview. I will try to contact Strange before we appear at his homestead, but reaching him is damned difficult. Until then! //
And then the crunch of a line going dead for some reason or another. But likely it wouldn't take too much time for details to be tracked down or even for the effort of calling him back to bear fruit. The details would come about. New York, 177A Bleecker Street, 1pm in the afternoon.
When that time came about, indeed, the tall blonde man in the jeans and a loose METs jersey stands in front of the Sanctum with a slip of paper in hand and a look of puzzlement on his features.

Iron Man has posed:
"So, a new mystery project. You had me at 'greatly appreciated', although what you could possibly be doing that would mix my expertise and the wizard's is really why I'm here," Tony's amused tone breaks in on the puzzled silent study of the Asgardian's focus. "But if I'm just here as a voice of reason, well. Full speed ahead." He's 'incognito' to some degree, which means not exactly incognito at all. When you wear designer sunglasses all the time, a slightly different pair does nothing to mask identity. Then again, Tony's not even trying. He's dressed relatively comfortably: a sleek suit jacket, black jeans, over a 'WINTER IS COMING: HOUSE STARK' graphic t-shirt. He is also eating, unwrapping part of a sandwich as he walks over. It's lunch time, so, obviously, that.

"Hey Mr. Stark!" calls a passerby, waving. "Hey!" Tony calls back, at ease. No, not incognito. Behind him, his the driver of the car he'd been in pulls back into traffic smoothly. "I'll ring the bell," Tony offers, using free hand to one-handedly tap the side of his glasses and navigate a few menus to ping Strange. Illuminati perks.

Doctor Strange has posed:
The door of the sanctum sanctorum opens swiftly, as if there wasn't anyone behind it with a physical body to worry about being slammed into. Yet in the line of sight from the sidewalk, there is no one to greet Thor. A voice does ring out from the darkness within the mystical abode of Doctor Strange, "Odinson. Stark."

With a not too subtle blip of reality, Thor and Tony are standing within the foyer, looking forwards towards the large split stair cases circling the perimeter of the grand museum like room, with Strange, standing near the base of the left staircase. "Your appearance at my door is surprising... Especially the two of you." Stephen says, waiting to be filled in with a tilt of his head from Thor to Tony.

Thor has posed:
Not to mention it doesn't help when Thor, upon spotting him, lifts his voice. "Ah, Stark!" Which only serves to solidifiy the evidence against him and then, of course, it draws attention to Thor as well. Cameras are likely trotted out, video recorded, pictures. For the moment, however, Thor only gives smiles and nods even as he steps over to meet Tony's approach.
"Indeed," Thor starts, then slips the piece of paper into his pocket as Stark makes to draw the attention of Doctor Strange... and apparently does so.
Reality shifts abruptly and it causes Thor to furrow his brow as he ponders his new surroundings. A quick glance about at the arcane brick-a-brack that passes for decor in the Sanctum, then his blue eyed gaze falls upon the figure of the Sorcerer Supreme.
"Strange, thank you for seeing us." He looks to Tony then back towards the Doctor. "There is a matter I would speak of, gain your thoughts, and if it suits to pique your interest your aid would be appreciated as well."

Iron Man has posed:
And there's Strange, and a new place. "Hi," Tony says around a bite of sandwich, relaxed as always, moving a few fingers in a waggle to Strange from where he's currently holding said delicious sandwich. "I have after-credits bonus footage content after he's done, too," Tony says with a loose gesture of head towards the taller god of thunder. If he was impressed by the summoning he's pretending it is no big deal. Mostly. "Nice finesse there, I'm not even disoriented." Tony adds by way of compliment. He then looks expectantly towards Thor. This was his show, after all, even if Tony tends to sort of bring his own party with him.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Strange steps off the last step and onto the landing, standing tall and proud and arrogant as ever, even in present company, because in this room, even these men and gods could not do what he does. Nor could he do what they do. It's a balance that has been struck between raw power, technological intellect, and mystical prowess. This does not go unnoticed by Strange, but it does go unsaid.

"Tarry not Odinson, tell us what your concerns are and I will at least help you in some way, be it with my promise, or with directions to a wizard more capable of helping thee."

Thor has posed:
Taking a step to stand just to the side and away of Tony, Thor shifts his gaze to the pair of them as he lifts his hands at first in that old gesture of gauging the readiness of one's audience. Once they're both looking to him he says, "We of Asgard have bound ourselves to the land we now call home. With it some of our shapers and runecasters have gained some of their power back and can now focus on aiding efforts to rebuild."
He lowers his hands and then says, "Yet there is to be a project that will take great effort and time even to one of my ilk. I speak of the task to rebuild the Bifrost."
As he says this he then pauses and lets that last word hang there for a time. Once that has sunk in he then adds, "And as the greatest mage that still lives amongst us my brother Loki shall be tasked with leading the effort."
Another bomb in just as many moments, he then straightens to his full height and awaits the inevitable onslaught.

Iron Man has posed:
To his credit, Tony doesn't choke on sandwich. But he does angle a Judging Look over his glasses right at Thor. "Yeah, I don't see /any/ problems with that," Tony says sarcastically, slowly, irritable. Tony's run in with Loki has included defending the city from the trickster. There's obviously no love there. "And by 'that' I mean building a giant cross-dimensional bridge on Earth. As for the other part.... Are we here to ask Dr. Strange to do it instead? Because I'm all for THAT idea."

Doctor Strange has posed:
Strange lowers his head as Stark speaks and yet he picks up as soon as Tony stops, "You mean to tell me that the - THE - Bifrost is destroyed? When did this happen? What of the other seven realms? What of Yggdrasil is it not falling apart without the support structure that was the Bifrost?"

Stephen has begun to walk around, almost pace as he's considering this, and some other plates he has spinning. Only the Sorcerer Supreme doesn't spin actual plates, it's more like actual realities he has to spin. He stops and catches his breath for a moment before looking back at Thor, "What do you need from us?"

Thor has posed:
Nodding slowly, Thor seems to accept the caution that comes to the fore with Tony's words. He holds up one hand as if trying to stay the somewhat sarcastic objection as he offers his words of caution. "If that were feasible, I would be all for such a course of action, Stark." He looks towards Strange, his good eye narrowing a touch. "And though the good Doctor is the Sorcerer Supreme of this realm, Loki has had much more time with and knowledge of our arcane ways."
At Strange's question he answers, "The... ends of the bifrost, the... soul of it has been lost. Yet its structure remains. Perhaps Loki would explain it better than I."
Then to them both he murmurs, "Think you not I come to this decision lightly. It is why I speak to you both. Stark, much of what we of Asgard have used is in some ways to you technology." His gaze shifts to Strange as he adds, "And you, Doctor. You are adept enough to be able to gauge and bear witness to my brother's efforts."
He takes a deep breath, "I know my brother has stepped ill and has crossed the people of this realm and most others. It was his efforts that saved many of the people of Asgard and he has earned his place with us. I would be lying myself if I said I had no misgivings." Then he looks up and his brow furrows. "That is where you both come in."

Iron Man has posed:
"I'm 'thrilled' he's here at all. Part of the package deal with Asgard that I overlooked," Tony comments. He looks around them, and helps himself to finding a spot to recline and sit down. It ends up being on some stairs. Tony manages to be just as 'tall' a personality as when he's standing as sitting. It's a gift. He unpeels his sandwich wrapper more.

"How am I coming into this, then?" The question is skeptical, but curious as usual. He does have, of course, a number of ideas of where this is going, but Thor has already come from left field with bringing Loki into building magic bridges anyway, so bets are off on making a good guess now. "I might get in trouble with some people if I build a new soul for a building."

Thor has posed:
The Thunderer tilts his head to the side and his lip twists a little. "Do what you do best, Stark. Ask questions, use your mind, perhaps you will discern something about our ways and find a better way to apply such. Perhaps you will come at matters from a different approach and be able to discern if my brother is sincere in his efforts... or if he is not." That last causes Thor to frown a touch, but he pushes past and then nods to Strange.
"As for you, Sorcerer. I would have you find if this effort would harm Midgard in any way. I would not wish to endanger our newly adopted world. If you deem it too much of a risk then we shall make do without."
That having been said he looks to them both, "I have spoken my piece, I shall leave this for you to discuss."
With that he turns after having given a small nod. A few moments later he appears outside the Sanctum at Strange's behest.

Iron Man has posed:
After Thor disappears, Tony looks to Dr. Strange. Well then. "Let's start with a drink?" Tony suggests dryly.
