Location: Holland Township, Delta
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Fiona Glenanne, Nightcrawler

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Few things annoyed Fi more than being out of the basics. So that's the sole reason she's stepped out of her apartment, down the elevator, and into Holland Township itself. Past the hedges, and she's waiting, waiting on the traffic to let her cross. Fiona's watching it with a careful glance, after all the last thing she needs is another hospital trip. Instead she's making her way to a store, the sort of store where milk is $10 and there's no chocolate. It's that sort of rich people store. Fiona though is biding her time, and tongue for once as she's walking down the street, in a casual set of clothes, jeans, t-shirt and a jacket, and her ankle boots and watch, too. Her hair's pulled back and she's got a slightly worried look on her face and looks around like she's not happy with....something or other.

Nightcrawler has posed:
Clad in suit, to better blend in, Kurt is standing outside of he local market - and despite the aristocratic look and fancy clothes the man doesn't seem to quite fit here. He's giving money to people who are being ignored on the sidewalks, and when Fiona turns a corner, he is staring down a police officer about to arrest someone for old rarely used laws regarding vagrancy. Thumbs hooked in his suit belt, glowering as the cop is starting to back towards their squad car again.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona steps closer. She's the morality pet after all and begins handing out a $20 here and there, almost daring the officer to pick who to arrest. "Hey Officer, what's the issue?" Fiona calls over and nods to Kurt, mouthing a 'thanks' to him. She's glad somebody's doing the right thing, and watching the officer out the corner of her eye. Looking over, Fiona nods and steps toward the walking suit again. "Hey" she says and looks amused for a moment. "What's up?"

Nightcrawler has posed:
The cop in question, seeing what could be the beginning of bad press glowers at the suited man, and now the woman joining him. "Just checking in on the citizenry ma'am. You have a good day..." The uniform backs away further, slipping into his vehicle.
When the squad car pulls away, Kurt's attention turns to Fiona, bowing his head slightly. "Just bullies willing to be bullies... It happens, their job is terrible at the best of times... some people slip." thumbs still hooked into his belt while he watches the squad, lips drawn into a tight line.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi shakes her head with a smile. "Ah karma'll get him" Fi notes, being an optimist as she takes in the suit, much more upscale than her own clothing. Looking back to the homeless, Fiona smiles. "You're people too" Fi nods and then nods to Kurt. "So what's got you out here in a rich bit of the East Coast? I mean, it's not Cape Cod levels of rich, but...." Fi says with a grin now, "It's rich enough"

Fis got a point, it's certainly a high wealth area. Though the lack of trust fund kids ruining it is a good sign, it also means Fi doesn't have to make their lives hell for making other people suffer, too. Fi rocks back on her heels and has her hands in her pockets, with a smile on her lips. She's certainly happy to be out here in the middle of her little patch of the world after all, and Fi's letting the world know she's not a miserable litle thing.

Nightcrawler has posed:
"Seemed like the right thing for this sort of neighborhood. I was just out to take a look about, nothing too specific." Kurt frowns a little tongue pushing out one side of his lower lip while he thinks. "Just kind of a walking out and about, and some of the homeless come out this way forgetting the rich hold their money more tightly than the most impoverished."
Taking a slow turn to give the area another once over before he looks back to Fiona, "Otherwise nothing to specific, really."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi nods. "I was on my way to the store when all that happened" she says and looks over, then shakes her head. "So what do you think of the area?" Fi adds and takes a look around herself, more to note where everything is. Despite moving here, Fi's got an idea in mind, find escape routes....and know them like the back of her hands.

Nightcrawler has posed:
Shaking his head, Kurt frowns a little deeper, "Same as any other upper class neighborhood of its kind. I've seen so many - it's the same town with a few different buildings. But I guarantee you the eggs are four dollars because the rich can afford it, and everything is given the 'affluency' tax for lack of better words." He sighs, looking from point to point. Everyone hates everyone but everyone is friends, at least within the financial circles.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi smirksk. "$4.50 actually. I nevr by from here, I drive half an hour and find a nice family run place. Ah but at least here you got quieter streets and people will talk to you, right?" Fiona asks with a grin, "I'm the odd one out, I bought up an aparttment and nobody will talk to me. Suits me just fine, everyone's a stuck up dick in this town. Well, present company excepted" Fi shrugs, "Milk's $3.75 a bottle, too. Hey I can get eggs and milk for half that, and have a decent conversation, and make the world a better place

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner shakes his head, "Admittedly I'm not a fan - people shouldn't have to be affluent to be decent, and most often the poorer areas are more closely knit and caring - but they don't like outsiders because of how often the rich mess with them, ja?" looking around again. "No I can't say I like it too much. There's no less crime, there's crime pushed elsewhere, too."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi nods. "I'd rather walk through a lower class or poorer area. You nailed it. People are way more genuine and caring honestly" she says. "If I could find a nice place in a closer knit area I'd go there honestly...but unfortunately....I got a standard to keep. Or at least, other people think I do" Fi shrugs and looks unimpressed, then grits her teeth. "Some days I'm just so sick of rich people. I', not poor myself, but. I'm sorry, but I just hate the arrogamnt backstabbing bitchy rich people who think money equals status, ya know?" Fi asks

Nightcrawler has posed:
With a raised brow, Kurt notes, "A standard to keep..." head tilting to the side. "Then move, if you hate the mannerisms and wand a different surrounding." brow knitting a touch. "You're the only one keeping you in an area such as this, ja?"

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
"Yeah" Fi admits. "But I like the space I got here, I got the top floor of a building, and it's nice enough. I just wish the people were nicer. Problem is hthe people. If you got kind, genuine and honest people to move in here.....that'd solve a lot of issues. I'd love to live in the big city and get around there, but.....ya know, that has its own problems" Fiona admits. "Moving's expenisve and a pain with boxing it all up though" Fi adds after a moment's pause.

Nightcrawler has posed:
"Well, that's up to you really. Selling one's soul is less often all at once for an extreme return, but more often for conveniences." The German frowns again, deeper, "I can tolerate this, because I have a nice view. I can handle people being sniffy and mean, because it's quiet at night. Greed is subtle, miss." Kurt's brows knitting. "I could help those people, but their far."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona nods. "Help them?" Fi asks and looks amused. "Why not help them?" she asks looking impressed. "Se, I can just about tolerate this place, long as I can go home, lock the doors and watch everyone from behind a pane of glass" she adds, picking her words carefully as she's wantuing to go off on the rch people.....but she's holding back...for now. She's thrown her hands in pockets and looks unimpressed. "I mean. I'd rather go live with mutants than rich people who don't care about anything but money, ya know?" Fiona asks with a certain finality to that statement

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner snorts "See that's the thing. I can tolerate it if I can hide behind a glass wall. That's the problem... I have to dress like this to make them ignore me, or give me passage to help people who need helping... I'm from the Bronx area, ma'am. This is stop fifteen of the scheduled stops." arms folding across his chest. "And I'm sure mutants don't need someone who wants to help as long as they don't have to 'live among the rabble' trying to give them a hand-out."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi grimaces. "I feel your pain. I have to be dangerous to survive, honestly" Fi admits and shakes her head. "Bronx is a good area, if you're not too troublesome" she admits, "Only been there a few times however. It's certainly a better, down to earth area." she explains and looks understanding.

Nightcrawler has posed:
"Its the area I live, ja?" Kurt's expression when she says she feels his pain draws a look, but he doesn't comment on it, "People shouldn't have to 'look dangerous' to be safe, that's more of the problem." he turns to face her fully, "You're a white American woman, you have to deal with misogyny and other gender stereotyping, so a reasonable, rational, person cannot say you're life is pristine. But it's still far better than most." head tilting to one side. "Name three things you've done as charitable acts in the last week?"

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona shrugs. "Helped Mrs Canalty with her TV and installing it, and cooked for her. I did my neighbor's washing for him, and oh, I gave a speech on how crime is bad" Fi asks, counting on her fingers. "I also deal with the problem of being a former religiously motivated woman who hates Britain" Fi shrugs "Yeah. I'm Irishh, what bout it?" she adds and looks amused. "I'd rather just...ya know....live somewhere interesting than here" she shrugs.

Nightcrawler has posed:
"Former IRA eh?" lips a tighter line, Kurt shrugs. "Try coming to the soup kitchens, and bring extra soup mixes and bread. Twenty dollars can buy a lot more soup and loaves of bread than many think." he studies her for the moment. "Try that three times in a month, you may like the feeling you get." a pause, "Moreso if you talk to people, learn why they are where they are, maybe you know something that can give them a hand up."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona nods and smiles. "I'll do better, I'll rent a place for a month, help out in the soup kitchens" she says and looks serious. "See. I feel like everyone deserves help" she points out with a smile. "Ya know, I feel like helping people out more and more"

Nightcrawler has posed:
"You should. It's a good thing to be in the habit of... Though I don't understand the renting a place part." brow knitting as he ponders, "If you're going to work with some in New York, I can provide a few locations in need of help that also have shelters in them..." Kurt looks back in the direction of the Rotten Apple, "Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, to bring the poor and homeless into your home, to clothe the naked when you see him".

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi looks curious, "Go on" she says and nods. "I'll get things ready and get out there. Yes it's a duty but at the same time" she says gently. "If they want that help. It's not my place to force any help on anyone if they don't want it" Fi adds and shrugs, looking over at Kurt again. "It's not worth getting into a fight over help really, is it?" she asks gently.

Nightcrawler has posed:
"No, it never is, but it's worth finding if someone wants more than just a bite to eat." Kurt nods, drawing out a little notepad... and a pen that looks like someone would normally use when heavily arthritic, outsized and easily 'gripped'. "I can give a list as well, not a problem. Good to see some people are at least willing to try."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona grins. "A list is very helpful" she says with a smile. "I appreciate it. The world needs more helpful people" she ads and waits, as if waiting on him to write the list, or to do....well......anything. She's taking a step back too, and looks like she's keen to know where help's needed.

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner rips the bit of paper out, offering it over in due time. "That's a few I know. If you want I can also list out some of the areas where it's worse, but if you're only just starting - well those are good places to begin." he smiles now, more genuinely absently scritching at his beard.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi takes the paper and smiles. "Thank you" she says and looks genuinely pleased....as she's willing to step out and....actually try to make the world a better place. Albeit with explosions and guns and fighting and....things.

Nightcrawler has posed:
If only she knew of the sheer amount of detonations, gunfire, kung fu, and sword-fighting that Kurt was capable of, and had experienced in his life. "So, what do you do for a living, if I can ask - Miss?" hands hanging with thumbs hooked in his jacket pockets now.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
"Bounty hunter" Fi says, her go to. No need to explain about the arms dealing bit....but her face is out there. If Kurt's seen it, he'll recognize it....as Fi stretches and smiles. "And other things, mind" Fi shrugs and looks amused, hands in her pockets too as she looks curious. "What about you?"

Nightcrawler has posed:
Brow up again, Kurt lets it go "Humanitarian activities, and human rights - such as the struggle to get mutant to be an expunged title, like ethnicity and skin tones - subgrouping human kind creates inhumanity." studying her a little more since calling herself a bounty hunter.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi draws herself up to her full height and smiles. "Bounty hunter after those who actually, genuinely deserve it" she says, then nods. "Activists are good, if they got the right cause. You could call me an activist but it's up for debate if I was truly fighting for a right cause" she points out. "Yet you talk to people like me, they swear up and down, and swear a lot, they are fighting for a right cause. Even if I don't think so" Fi says and leans back on her heels again. "Though who really gets to say if a cause is just or not?" Fi asks, posing an interesting question.

Nightcrawler has posed:
"It becomes a question of what is morally right, ja?" Kurt "And yes, people like you. It may be inflammatory, or short sighted - but you said yourself you prefer to be above and away from it." the bavarian notes, arms folding across his chest. "I did say I live in the Bronx, but that's circumstantial, I'll not say I'm better for any reason, but I will say I'm down in the muck, every day."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi grins. "so we got quite a few things in common" Fiona says. "We both agree on morals, and we're both tired of rich people flaunting their powers around" she shrugs and says with a smile. "You know anywhere to get actual, honest milk? Not this organic free roaming cows stuff, I mean actual milk from....you know.....a cow or a goat" she adds.

Nightcrawler has posed:
Shrugging in thought, looking skyward now, "Anywhere downtown or the north and northeast burbs, when you get past the rich and their trend stores... You'd have at least a twenty minute drive from here... being this is Jersey eh?" he half grins at that, "I tend to forget, I'm used to being in New York more.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona sighs. "20 minute drive into New York just to get decent milk. See, another reason to move, huh?" she adds with a knowing laugh and looks over with a smile. "It's like you're trying to persuade me to move live among decent people. Hey, just give me the shiny brochure already" she jokes looking amused.

Nightcrawler has posed:
"I would convince all to live among decent people, but inviting on an individual basis seems to get the job done, grain by grain." Kurt chuckles. "A new bit of work I have in downtown should hopefully earn new avenues that I can try and help people through too."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi grins, and looks to the list again. "Alrighty, so where should I start? I'll get going once you tell me. No, really" Fi says looking impressed at the list. She's genuinely serious about making a difference.

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner bowing his head, "Top of the list and work your way down, that's the best I can suggest. If you do more than one in a day, they're listed by which is open first and if you follow them they'll lead you back down here if need." his pocket beeps and he pulls out a fairly oversized smartphone that he seems to have a little trouble with. "Hey... if you'll forgive me, I need to go take care of something." tapping something out slowly and tucking the phone away.
