Description

An advanced race of extra-dimensional beings who were once worshipped as gods by the Scandinavian and Germanic tribes of Western Europe, they keep watch of the Nine Realms from their home in Asgard. Long-lived, but not immortal, the Asgardians are able to travel via a portal called the Bifrost, which is under the constant guard of Heimdall.
