NANO-MACHINE VIRUS

The Nano-Machine Virus is a fusion of technological and organic components. She can set-up a wifi connection of up to a mile away. As a side benefit, it has essentially halted any telomere degeneration, making her effectively ageless. 

The Good Side Effects:
-Unique Hair 
Her hair is now naturally a green color and her irises look like they are liquid silver. Also her moods can cause her hair to fluctuate what color green her hair is, almost like a broken mood ring. 

-Technopathy 
Jasmine can instantly translate any machine impulses into a format that she can understand and can actually do the same with any other non organic life form. This allows her to allow totally incompatible or foreign technologies to mesh together if she wires them together. It might likely cease after she immediately stops using it if she doesn't take the time to make it something permanent though. She also intuitively understands any machine that has an electrical component and can adjust the amount of electricity within it at will. With a thought, she can prevent or enhance electrical activity in any non organic system. In hideously complicated system, she often has to focus her will on one system at a time. 

-Intuitive Genius 
She is able to instinctively understand software and the virtual environment at an intuitive level. While she is not any kind of expert with all kinds of technology, she is easily able to make modifications (hardware and software) to computers to make their performance well above baseline technology. When it comes to computers, she is effectively at the top tier one can imagine, capable of performing feats of up to Adequate scope, though in practice she rarely even approaches this limit and simply makes computers that she works with blindingly fast and secure. 

-Electrokinesis 

She can sense any electrical activity (organic or non organic) in a 1 mile radius though normally this is only operating in her immediate vicinity (within 10 foot radius). She can snuff electrical activity in any non organic system to either make it more powerful or make it dim (to the point of not occurring) which can make her deadly toward machine life on this aspect of her understanding alone. This ability is purely technical as derived from the virus.

COMPUTER OPERATIONS

Jasmine is a fantastic computer breaker (hacker) and compiler that has done things in a wide number of research projects and work related timetables. Even without a single iota of power, she moves mountains with the best in the virtual sphere, sometimes in ways that bend expectations or limits to the breaking point.

HACKING

A powered computer master has an understanding of the keys to the kingdom of the internet (hacking, intrusion etc). Jasmine is able to use her ability to manufacture UI's etc, but she also has a plethora of manifestations to snag people's valuables online. She knows how to lie to get people to give passwords as well as create a hardware bypass on all but the most sophisticated of systems as long as she is on site. She is really only limited by the tools that she is working with relative to the sophistication of the targeted system.

EQUIPMENT

She has everything a hacker could ever need and even some things they would never think of to get for themselves. She has a top of the line bleeding edge computer that she has boosted in a number of different ways with augmentations in a number of cloud SAAS servers that makes it more powerful than anything in a single lap top could be by itself. She also has an electronics kit which serves all of her security bypass or repair needs and enough burner phones, wireless extender/repeaters and scramblers to make it through the next ice age.

HACKING GEAR

In addition to her standard equipment, she also has a number of small near nano sized bugs that if planted on someone can ferret out their location or create a bluetooth connection to clone phones or bypass / backdoor into a number of different facilities. She also has a wide range of (in case she needs them) adapters, plugs and ad hoc gadgets to deal with legacy or analog systems as the occasion requires.

INCOME

She has a passive day trading>Crypto Currency algorithm that follows mass market trends and gives her a lovely passive income sufficient to give herself an allowance of about $20K a month without having to do a thing if she wants. If she wanted more, stealing it or earning it as a White Hat hacker would be a piece of cake, but generally she has more interesting things to do with her time than deal with money.

TONY THE DATA DOG

This anthropomorphic data construct is a corgi that acts as a sentient (albeit low level) AI that can Fetch, Roll Over, Play Dead and a number of other tricks. It is well trained to augment and tactically respond to her actions either offensively or defensively, all on things of technology and not people, or people with cybernetics, however.

INSULATION

Any type of power or object that can cover her skin will make her weaker, and once she is covered from head to toe, she is unable to use her powers at all.

The Bad Side Effects 
- Stuck at 18 
She doesn't visibly age due to the virus. She is aging, just at a much insanely slower rate. 

- Insomnia 
Since her aging is more or less halted, it is hard for her to sleep and she can get restless quite easily. From time to time, the virus just decides it really has to use her brain's neural pathways to solve some 'critical' problem and sleep is deemed of secondary importance in such instances. This is not a good thing. 

-Sunny Days 
Inversely, she needs a certain amount of flat out digital power (low level) to function on a daily basis as well as use her powers. That requires good old Mr Sunshine and if she goes more than a few days without exposure to direct sunlight, Jasmine is not a happy girl. If it is cloud or overcast she doesn't really get the energy she needs and has to take it easy that day, She can only use her abilities 5 times a day and only if she is fully charged by the sun. If she is only half way charged, she can only use them twice a day.

POWER

Nothing else matters to her. She will never be weak again, not for her father, not for the idiots that demeaned her at her tech support job and certainly not anyone else. This can be a distraction from other things she might care about sometimes, but it also means that when she sees an opportunity, she takes it.

TRUE IDENTITY

She was born Rosalia Maria Giovanni, daughter of Juliano Giovanni. And she is trying to not be compared to or judged for all the things he did. Though they say the apple doesn't fall from the tree and she is gifted now in her own ways. She is her own woman, that's a fact, but that doesn't change the fact that she is often confronted with her family ties. In the hacker world, people just assume she has criminal contacts (she does, but she really doesn't want to talk to them any more than she has to), Law Enforcement assumes that she is secretly a spy for the Mafia, even some local heroes mistreat and judge her for something she isn't. She doesn't use her family unless it is a matter of life and death.
