Sergeant Rachel Cole of the United States Marine Corps met Daniel Alves on shore leave when she was twenty years of age. He was older than her by several years and just on the verge of graduating medical school. They fell in love but their wedding was delayed by her deployment. By the time she came home six months later her heart was fit to burst. Rachel Cole became Rachel Alves for one hour.
No one remembers that Rachel changed her name except for her. It's important. It's a reminder that she had a family. That she loved someone - and they her - before the bullets started to fly. Her name is Rachel Alves and she's just started her one woman war on the criminals who would so callously shoot up a wedding in pursuit of their own ends.
Rachel Cole died on her wedding night. Rachel Alves is an avenging angel seeking absolution in blood.

Rachel Cole-Alves is five feet six inches and a hundred and thirty-six pounds of deadly precision. She slender but still athletic, her form tightly corded climber's muscle with slender hips and shoulders, as well as long limbs. Fierce, dark azure eyes sit on a pale, lightly freckled face with a small nose and full pink lips. Rachel's hair is a vivid copper red pulled into a short pony tail that smacks of efficiency over exploiting her good looks.
Right now Rachel is wearing a dark turtleneck, black slacks, and a simple leather belt. Her shoes are sturdy leather military issue combat boots. She always wears her wedding ring.

Rachel Cole was a relatively normal young woman. Capable and smart she eventually decided that what she wanted to do with her life was help defend her country .She enlisted in the Marines where she became a decorated Scout Sniper and led an engagement team into enemy lines in foreign conflicts. Her service was exemplary but eventually she fell in love.
Deciding to avail herself of the GI Bill Rachel Cole moved back to the USA after her fourth tour overseas and decided to marry a doctor she's met while working, Daniel Alves. She was Rachel Alves for less than an hour before the shooting started. The killing was senseless. A couple of guys ducked into a wedding figuring they'd be safe from pursuers but all that happened is that 27 people were killed, 15 more were injured. Among these was Rachel's entire family and all of her friends.
They left Rachel alive. This was a mistake.

Rachel is a woman driven to the edge of madness and made stronger for it. She is actually a complicated person under the veneer of strength, however. She is cool and collected most of the time but somewhat prone to fits of rage and depression thanks to recent tragedies taking toll on her mental state. She is also compassionate, helping people in need and occasionally even letting her enemies go under rare circumstance. She is, however, trying to force that compassion out of her. She wants to be a pure, emotionless killing machine but she hasn't succeeded in reaching that goal. She's still clinging to a life outside of punishing people.

CONDITIONING
Rachel scored a perfect score on the Marine Corps PFT. This means she can run three miles in eighteen minutes without stopping, do twenty deadhang pull-ups, and perform 105 crunches in under two minutews. She can also swim over a kilometer in turbulent water, more than a hundred meters while keeping an adult human out out of the water, and shows no panic while under fire in these conditions or in relation to heights. She is in the best possible physical condition for an ordinary human being of her height and weight.
MARKSMANSHIP
Rachel is an extremely accomplished marksman. She is far more capable than even the majority of soldiers with similar training. She took the role of Sncout Sniper while in the military and has a particular affinity for rifles and long range shots but is still similarly capable in a running firefight. Her reflexes are on point and have been honed in battle.
MECHANICAL EXPERTISE
Rachel is capable with rigging taps, explosives, maintainin firearms, working ammunition and other tasks required for osmeone to slowly and methodically murder their way through the worst scum the world has to offer. Her expertise is entirely practical but it is tried and true.
MILITARY TRAINING
As a USMC Sniper Scout Rachel was trained at Camp Pendleton, California. She received training in: Patrolling, Land Navigation without a map, reconnaissance, stalking, self-concealment, estimations of range, evaluation of a target, calling targets for snipers and off-site support weapons, and the use of various weapons, particularly firearms. She is extremely competent in all of these skills. She has additionally taken curses in First Aid, cartography, and interrogation. She also attended the Urban Snipers course.
TACTICS
Rachel is good at thinking laterally and on the fly. She can both stay alive and take her opponents with her with brutal efficiency, even when facing superpowered opponents who would easily defeat her in a 'fair' fight. Rachel doesn't believe in a fair fight. Just the living and the dead.
UNARMED COMBAT
Rachel has received multiple awards for excellence in her unarmed combat skill. she trained with the marines hten sought additional instruction in various Marital Arts, focusing entirely on the practical application of potentially lethal force.

While Rachel has not experiencd all the world has to offer in terms of weapons she is skilled with a huge variety of weapons common to various world militaries, especially Israel and the USA. She can easily man squad-based automatic weapons, fire rockets, and knife fight in addition to her command of firearms.

Rachel has a specific goal and it involves destroying the organized criminals and evil shadow organizations of the world one man at a time. She is driven to succeed and will sometimes act without thought when her goal is in sight. She can be predicted, if not controlled, through this medium. She doesn't give up, sleeps less than she should, and always has the mindset of being at war.

Rachel is completely human and while she is incredibly tough, capable, and driven she can be killed in the same manner as any other person.

She is exacting and careful so long as her goal is the people she intends to destroy but when mission parameters change it can be difficult to keep Rachel from taking matters into her own hands.
