Owner Pose
Darcy Lewis Another day, another dollar, another cup of coffee to be had in the break room. Darcy makes her way in, tapping at the screen of her phone. She moves with directless purpose toward the caffination station.
Skye Johnson Skye and Clint are back from the vacation that mostly wasn't.. It was exciting, and had some value of fun, but it wasn't the relaxing 'find yourself' event that it was supposed to be. Mind you, they hadn't really expected Fury to *not* call them in if needed. And really, it was her own fault they got called in on Lag - given he contacted her directly...

Still, Skye's been hoping to run into Darcy while she and Clint still are officially off the roster. And just n case, she's brought a brown-paper wrapped bundle along with her.

"You have to hit the machine to convince it to pour, today." Grinning at her friend.
Darcy Lewis Darcy turns to look at her friend, a snicker and a smirk on her face.

"Again? Jesus, I thought they fixed this thing," she quips, tucking her phone away so she can offer her friend a hug.

"Welcome home," she says.
Skye Johnson "They lie," Skey says with a smirk. "And thanks. Still a few loose ends from the trip, and then it's me off to R&D and the Med labs to find out what's in that file of mine."

She pushes the package across the table. "We brought this back for you. We were going to wait until we could hold a dinner, but I thought you might want to use it before then. I'd say more, but it would ruin the surprise."

'Go on, open it, but.. uh.. we both might want to put our coffee on another table, just in case."
Darcy Lewis Coffer procured, Darcy settled with Skye at a table and then stared in surprise at the nondescript gift... and its unorthodox warning.

"It's not a coffe powered dildo, is it? Because that would be.... really badass actaully. Coffee's cheaper than batteries," she says, settign her coffee on a table near by while taking the bag.
Skye Johnson Skye sets her coffee on the nearby table as well. Just in case.

"Uh.. I think it would either be a much smaller package, or a much larger one.." Skye just shakes her head and laughs. "No. Not a dildo. Hell, you can get your own anywhere you want here. Not sure they're any different in China. Nope. This was something that made us think of you, that you couldn't just go buy on your own somewhere in New York."

Inside the bag is a brown paper package - fairly large, and hefty in weight. It's tied with jute.
Darcy Lewis Now thoroughly confused (Point: Skye), Darcy pulls out the package. She sets the bag aside and begins untying the cord.

"Seriously, Shitcode. You didn't have to get me anything, uyou know that."
Skye Johnson "Of course we did. You're our friend. And we.. oh, just open the damn parcel." Skye flusters around, and fails to get out 'and we love you'.

The brown paper wrapping is very thorough - much as if it's meant to protect what is inside from most manners of mishaps given it had to be packed, carted around, and then flown home. But after several layers, Darcy runs across swaths of brilliant colours. All set in silk.

Yep, Skye and Clint brought Darcy home enough raw silk material to make.. well, pretty much anything her heart might desire... and a thing or two besides.

Skye, meanwhile, watches with bated breath, worrying at her lower lip until she can see Darcy's reaction to the gift.
Darcy Lewis Darcy works to open the package. She's careful with it, painstakingly careful, and doesn't once rip or crumple the paper beyond what it was. When at last the innerds are exposed, Darcy stops and stares.

"OH... wow. Is this a ..." her words trail off as she pulls up raw fabric and not a dress. She blinks and looks over at Skye.

"Skye..."
Skye Johnson Skye looks terribly worried, even as Darcy *seems* to like it. "We talked about a dress, or a kimono or dressing gown or something, only I thought maybe you'd prefer to choose what you had made out of it. Make it truly your own. We had to pick fabrics though. I thought you'd like those ones."

She grins. "They were loud.. in a pretty way. I though of you when I saw them. Clint helped pick the deep read silk. He said you should have something a little more formal."
