Darcy Lewis The intel that came in was that Tony Stark had taken Metallo into custody. The metal man with a human heart and brain with a hate-on for Superman the size of an anaconda, and a chunka-chunka-thick-hunk of green glowing crystal rock in his chest cavity.

Tony Stark had taken Metallo into custody.

There were clearly people in SHIELD that thought this was a Bad Idea(R).

Good Idea: Boost Metallo and hold him in a SHIELD facility.

Better Idea: Don't ask Tony for him. Just go in an estract him.

End report.
PS: May, this is why Lewis is no longer allowed to write field reports...

Tony Stark And this is why SHIELD can't have nice things. Like alien technology and alien supervillains.

The 'extraction' party isn't a real secret to Tony. Time, place and location for a transfer and transport is by design; who works on a Sunday, after all?

Tony is in the labs, far and away on the outside of the holding area for Metallo. The villain had been rendered unconscious when he was transported here by CyberDragon, dropped into a safe location within Stark Tower (without checking with Tony first! Bad dragon!), and containment happened. Upon discovering the 'gift', it was explained to him that they 'didn't know where else to take him'. Tony had a couple of good ideas of where to put Metallo, but only one was particularly actionable.

SHIELD.
Melinda May Questionable report aside, May determiend that this needed to be done sooner rather than later, so she put a transport together to go and retrieve Metallo from Stark Tower. And no, they're not going to try and extract the man without informing Stark, that's beyond asinine.

The only real hitch in the arrangements had come when Romanova got wind of it and demanded to go along. It came very close to a full-blown argument between the two women until a compromise was reached.

In the transport, with a tac team along as well just in case, May is driving and NOT relying on Lewis for directions. And she has a likely still peeved Romanova on the comms from HQ.

"ETA, thirty seconds. Lewis, get your feet off the dashboard."
Lara Croft Lara sat in the same transport with the tactical team, she certainly wasn't a member of that team (or, at least, she didn't think she was!) and she quietly looked around at everyone while checking over the equipment she'd brought with her. She had a bunch of Clint's gear with her, all of which, he'd given her. (No seriously! arrows at least.) and the rest she'd pieced together for herself. Lara had been told that Combat wasn't a likelihood though so she wasn't exactly on-guard... but one never knows.

When May called out the ETA and ordered Darcy's feet off the dashboard it made the young archaeologist agent grin for a moment before she went to prep herself to deal with whatever lied ahead!
Natasha Romanoff "Yeah, keep the feet down. If May crashes into something an airbag might deploy and you might end up on light duty and trapped back at the Triskelion instead of somewhere you might be more useful," comes the voice of Natasha over the comm. The level of snark in the comment is epic, allowing May to know exactly how displeased she is with this arrangement. Stitches be damned, she should be there! But at least she can monitor the goings on, providing for backup teams that are already in place if necessary. Hopefully, they will not be necessary.
Darcy Lewis "Aw! You think I'm useful! That's like the bestest thing you've ever fucking said to me ever. We are now besties," Darcy quips right back at Natasha even as she's pulling her feet off the dash. "Tonight, we're share girly stories and in the morning, I'm making waffles."
Tony Stark It's not as if Tony's not got access to the coms on this particular 'strike' mission. He's settled in his spot on the 72nd floor; Classified R&D that Stark-Fijikawa shares with SHIELD. "Okay, okay. Agent Romanoff, don't forget her marshmellows. And chocolate for s'mores. Will you guys just get up here please? I've got other things I should be doing... like attending a dinner party out on Montauk. Agent May, you should know your way up."
Melinda May Man, waffles sound good right now.

Yes, May does know the way up. So it's only a few more minutes -- and likely a few more snarks from Natasha -- before half the tac team is following May and Lewis to where Stark is.

Fully expecting Stark to be waiting for them, May almost doesn't slow down as she leads the group through the tower. "Stark, are there any precautions we need to be aware of to transport this man?" As annoying as the inventor can be over comms, having him listening in could potentially be useful at the moment.
Lara Croft Lara was probably one of the few people here today who wasn't a very snarky-commentor... but she certainly enjoyed the banter from an outsider's perspect. Stark Tower... first time she'd ever come to this place, so her brown eyes were ready to bounce all over the place to take in the sights of the world reknowned facility. She reached up to adjust the brim of a dark navy-blue hat that sat atop her head and then just moved along with May and Darcy, listening and waiting, while sight seeing, yay!
Natasha Romanoff Natasha is monitoring the locations of all the agents involved, planning for contingencies. She keeps track of the floors they are on and where the fast response units are on the blocks surrounding Stark tower. For the moment, she actually keeps her comments to herself.
Darcy Lewis Soon as they are in the building, Darcy switches to Professional Administrative Agent mode. Tablet in hand but sensible shoes on her feet, just in case, Lewis walks at May's side, quiet for now. The calm before Hurricane Darcy.
Tony Stark Tony's settled in behind some serious crashproof glass, and he's got all the bells and whistles in this particular containment field. His feet are up on the control table, he's got a glass of some deep amber liquid, and looks unconcerned for the moment. "Well, hope you don't have the big guy, Superman, because Metallo? He's all kryptonite, and he can project it from his chest. When he's conscious, that is. Right now, we've got him sedated, which took a lot of testing, by the way. I'll have JARVIS talk to your people to pass on the formula that works." Tony shifts in his seat and brings the glass to his lips before he continues, "Oh, and Agent Romanoff? Next time you want a girls' night out, go to the spa."
Melinda May May stops the whole troop just outside of that crashproof glass and actually KNOCKS. "Stark, we're here to take Metallo into custody." She has no idea if he'll hear her through the glass, but he doesn't have to, does he? He's on their comms.

When Stark mentions a sedative, she nods to Lewis, indicating that the younger agent should make sure that data is received. She suspects they're going to need it, and sooner rather than later.

"Romanova, is the containment facility prepared for incoming?"
Lara Croft Lara stands on the other side of May from Darcy and she glances over at the two of them as they approach the glass that May knocks on. Lara's hat-covered-head looks back then toward Stark through the glass. She'd look pretty much like any other SHIELD agent that he's likely seen before, except that she's outfitted out more like Hawkeye with the archery equipment than those who use only guns and tac gear alone.
Natasha Romanoff "Tell Pepper not to send an invitation next time, Tony," Natasha returns. Well if an invitation involves getting kidnapped and toted off into the sewers to be killed. Probably not what Pepper had wanted for her day either. "Oh and Tony? You're welcome." For although Pepper ultimately got them out of the collapsed sewer, Natasha did take out the bad guys before they could shoot his gal pal. Then she shifts. "Mobile containment ETA one minute," she responds to May. "Information on the dosage received and relayed to personnel in the transport."
Darcy Lewis "Data transfer confirmed," Lewis adds a second later. The moment Tony had started talking about sedatives, Darcy had lowered her gaze to her tablet, typing with the skill and grace of a true born with smart phone in hand person would.
Tony Stark "Perfect. Do you have portable containment units? I'll have JARVIS program it on his frequency." Tony still doesn't look concerned, at least his manner doesn't seem it, but there's definitely something behind those brown eyes; a touch of seriousness. "If you don't, you can borrow mine, but I want them back." Now, he pulls his feet off the control desk and stands up, brows rising as he pushes the key for the door to open to allow the SHIELD team access. "He's out right now," is repeated quietly, "And the bed he's on does move and can fit. Now, did you park a Quin on the pad uptop? 'Cause it'll be easier going up than down."

Truly, there the supervillain lies, supine. He looks quiet, looks almost harmless but for the fact that he's strapped in, blindfold on over his eyes and there's an IV constantly dripping into the man's veins.
Lara Croft Lara would move along with the others toward where the supposed 'villain' was strapped in and seemed to be in some state of slumber. She stared at at his bindings at the blindfold that he was wearing, quite curious about who this person was and precisely what made him so dangerous. She'd primarily lived a life away from super heroes and super powered people in-general, but since coming to the United States, they were almost a dime-a-dozen here... which was pretty fascinating to her.
Melinda May "We do," May replies to Tony. "Our containment team is en route, should be landing... now." She doesn't outright say that this vanguard group arrived via ground transport, it's technically irrevelant at this point.

Stepping through the doors after Tony opens them, she looks at the sedated villain as those who are visibly armed promptly look more alert and prepared in case something happens.

"We'll return all items of yours as soon as he's secured. Let's go." The sooner, the better.
Natasha Romanoff "Quinjet up to," Natasha affirms. "Squad ready with our containment unit. If you can get him to the top, we can take it from there. Access opened to JARVIS." Not that it needs to be because it's JARVIS and he can access whatever he wants but professional courtesy and all.

The squad on the roof with the quinjet get the back drop door open, which will allow for rapid entry when they arrive from the lower floors. They are already setting up the protable containment field.
Darcy Lewis "Containment Team are on the roof," Darcy says a moment after Nat's states it. Not because she's being annoying but becuase SHIELD and redunancies. Sometimes thay are a thing that neds be done.
Tony Stark JARVIS is ready for the express elevator up to the landing deck. "Jarvis, I'm going on stand-by," is offered from his position, and the statement gets a response of, "Yes sir, stand-by. All systems are at optimum," from the ever present, ever polite Artificial Awareness.

"SHIELD has arrived, and they have received the information for transfer. Tracking system is now engaged until they arrive at their destination." JARVIS has every intention of making sure, or trying to make sure, that everyone's safe. (Aww.)

"Alright, everyone," Tony's on his feet, beginning the sequence for transfer. One light after another goes off, only to have one after another go on with the portables. "He'll be free standing in five, four, three, two, one.. free." From Stark to SHIELD custody.
Melinda May May nods to the tac team peoplee and the moment Tony says he's free standing, they step in to move the man. It's suprisingly well choreographed, and they make it to the elevator and then the roof with no mishaps.

"Stark, thank you for making this transfer a lot less painful than it could have been." Because really, it could have been a disaster. And it hasn't been. Maybe she should be giving Natasha and JARVIS credit for that.
Lara Croft Lara stepped back when the countdown expired, she knew for a fact she was not apart of the people assigned to moving the criminal directly, she was here more as a watchmen and a problem solver as well as for her marksman skills. She stayed back at May's side and was ready to escort the prisoner to the roof.
Natasha Romanoff Natasha refuses to relax until they get back to the holding facility but at least nothing blew up. Yet. She falls silent again, leaving it in the hands of the crews on scene.
Darcy Lewis Witha nod to May, Darcy moves to join the containment team, over seeing the transfer personally and reporting back in as things progress.

"Package secured and enroute to HQ, Boss," she says when at last it's done.
Tony Stark "I don't want Fury saying I never give him anything." Like, oh... the alien tech that Tony had sort of acquired when it was originally en route to the Tris that has now taken the shape and form of a dragon. "And I sure as hell don't need the added aggrevation of a supervillain. Ups my homeowner's insurance."
