Hospitals are the Worst!

Location:	Gotham Hospital
Synopsis:	Nikki's overnight stay in the hospital brings Tim as company and plans are made for upcoming European trip(s)

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Little while after Nikki was saved in that back alley of Gotham, she's laid up in a hospital bed with an IV for fluids and her right arm bandaged in a few spots where stitches have been used. She's being kept overnight for observation since she did report being yanked into the alley and thrown to the ground, not remembering if she hit anywhere vital like her head or something. So the doctors just want to be safe. At least she still has her phone, which she's sitting up in bed playing a game on while listening to the droll beeping of monitors around her.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake has went back to his house only long enough to change and stash the Red Robin gear. He sniffs himself making sure he does not smell of alley way, and puts on some extra deodorant to be on the safe side. Then it is into his car to head to the hospital. He knows where they took her, but does check in with the security company to make sure things look right. Then shortly he is heading inside, telling the nurses he is Tim Drake here to see Nikki.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
The nurses are helpful in telling Tim which room Nikki is in, and if he asks, what her current status is. Quite stable, stitches, ensuring she doesn't have a mild concussion or any other trauma that sneaks up. Otherwise she'll likely be discharged sometime tomorrow. When Tim gets to the room, Nikki will light up just a bit, setting her phone aside. "Nikki didn't think it would take Tim too long to find out where she was..." Saying this before she flushes a bit. "Nikki fought them best she could...but one pulled a knife..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will move in to hug her gently watching not to hit her arm. He looks to her and says "Are you ok?" His worry is not an act, he is worried about her, even knowing she is physically ok. "I came as soon as I could, I was worried about you."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki nods slowly. "Nikki's alright. Little roughed up, maybe still a little scared...but not as bad as she used to be..." She returns the hug as best she can and even manages to kiss Tim on the cheek. "Is good to see, Tim. But he doesn't have to worry. Nikki is glad to see Tim."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will nod. and says "Well your safe now, and I will stay here with you if your ok with it." He offers to her, and says "I can have things brought up if there is something you need." He offers to her. "They said they wanting to keep ya over night."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Yeah. When Nikki was explaining all that happened, the doctor wanted to make sure there's nothing else wrong that just isn't showing yet. Cause Nikki was yanked into the alley and tossed to the ground. Then the fight happened and Nikki got cut with a knife." She explains to Tim as if he hadn't heard it all already. "She managed to message that number Tim gave her, and then Red Robin showed up...and then Nikki was brought here." A smile. "Tim can stay. Nikki would like that."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake 's brow raises "Red Robin showed up? I need to figure out a way to thank him." He tells her He will pull a chair over so he can sit facing her while she is in the bed.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki giggles. "Be hard to do. He's one of those secret identity types. Like Batman. Nikki knows a lot of types, but the ones with secret identities are fun. Sometimes Nikki wonders if there's a way to figure out who they are." She laughs then, and her hand reaches out to hold his once he's sat next to her bed. "How was Tim's day?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake says, "Been working on some things, trying to figure out which budget to use for next few months with the R&D, mostly boring paperwork." He tells her "I am just glad they are there to help folks who need it."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki nods, squeezing his hand gently. "That does sound like a lot of boring stuff..." Then she smiles. "Is there anything Nikki can do to help?" Shifting a little to sit more comfortably in bed while watching Tim the whole time.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake smiles and says "Taking it easy and making sure your ok. That is the best thing right now, I want you healthy, happy and safe." He offers her a smile, squeezing her hand softly.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Well if you want that, Nikki might just have to stay in one place and never go anywhere." Saying this with a little laugh and her free hand shifts to rub at her forehead some. "Nikki is all of those things, especially when she is with Tim. Things will be alright. It's just not safe in New York or Gotham these days...no matter how much the heroes fight to fix things, there will always be bad guys. Nikki will just have to be more careful."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods his head a bit to this and says "Well, I am glad your safe, and if you want can show ya a bit more or we can take a self defence class together." He offers and leans in kissing her cheek.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki gives a little smile. "Either one sounds fine. Tim is a good teacher. But maybe we can both learn more in a class." She says this much and then grabs her phone, opening it to check a few things like emails and her messages. "Tournament in Germany coming up soon. Next month I think."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmms and nods a bit to this and says "Will have to figure out when, so I can make sure they know I will be out of town.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki blinks. "You mean... you want to come with me?" Sounding a little surprised at that, but she also smiles as if excited about the prospect. "Are you sure you can afford the time off?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods his head and says "It pays to be the boss." He paraphrases the Mel Brooks line "Besides most of my work I can do virtual, so should not be to bad, might even be able to write it off as a business trip if we visit some of our holdings in Germany.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki tilts her head. "Oh that would be interesting. Maybe we can do some cross work with them..." Saying this as she considers it for a moment before giving a smile. "I could even do a couple days extra before or after the tournament to work in business..." A pause. "And maybe a little pleasure."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake smiles and says "Have you ever got to do any sight seeing while in Germany before?

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki shakes her head. "Not very much. But I hear there are a few sights to see in Germany...and maybe we could visit a couple other countries while we're there..." She blushes a little. "If you want anyway..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods his head a bit to this and says "Could probably set up maybe a month's tour of different facilities, which would give us time to hit a few places. Have to set up where we want to go with it."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"You are just full of surprises. I would love that...especially with you." Nikki says this and then leans up and over to offer Tim a gentle kiss. "I love you. Thanks for being here with me.."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake smiles and kisses her back as he says "A team of wild horses could not have kept me away hon." He offers with a gentle hug

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
A nurse comes in a few minutes later. "Just coming to check stats and give you a little more pain medication. How are you feeling?" To which Nikki replies, "Feeling well. Thank you." Then the nurse looks to Tim and smiles. "Anything we can bring for either of you? Some blankets? Have you been served food yet?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and says "I think I am good, but if Nikki needs anything special let me know, and if you guys have a problem getting it, I can make a few calls." Yea he is putting on the rich guy facade a bit there have to keep it up

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"If you're going to stay here, Tim, won't you need a blanket?" Then Nikki smiles and considers another option that she'll voice once the nurse is gone. "I think they're giving Nikki the good drugs. She might fall asleep soon..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and says "I might need one a bit later, I guess bringing one might not be a bad idea just to be safe and maybe a pillow.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
The nurse nods and smiles. "Of course. I can also show you how to make the bench over there pull out into a bed. It's not the most comfortable, but maybe we can work on that a little bit for you. I'll be back in a moment with those items." Then she notes some things on the computer and turns to head out the room. Nikki takes a slow breath and glances around the room. "It will be nice to leave the hospital tomorrow. Places like this sometimes give me the ick..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake smiles and says "Well, I am here to fight off the ick." He stands and looks around and grabs one of the markers, and acts like it is a sword "En guard Ick."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki laughs out again and shakes her head some. "You're a goof...I love it..." Then she lies back in bed for a moment, letting her eyes close. "Mmn... butterflies..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake smiles and will watch her sleep and will draw some butterflies on her board, and while she is asleep, he will see if he can bring a special little robot side kick to her, and if so will ask Alfred to pick him up and bring him to them
