Interlude : In the Aftermath

Synopsis:	Nikki has a mental breakdown after a public display of stimming. Tim calms her down and they plan out a whole date night.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
It's the next morning after the public breakdown Nikki had, and since coming back home, she hasn't been seen or heard from. Maybe a passing shadow if she's gone to the bathroom or something, but otherwise silence reigns. There's likely one place Tim hasn't looked, which is very likely where she'll be. In the closet in his room, tucked away in a corner, with headphones in that are attached to a media player - likely an iPod, or maybe her phone. She's got herself as tightly into a ball as humanly possible, letting the darkness of the closet and whatever is playing in her ears take her away.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will come into his closet to get something and blinks. He has been trying to give her space, but finding her here does surprise. him. He will walk over giving her a moment to notice him, and if she does not he will squat down near her and lightly put his hand on her shoulder.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki is so engrossed in the darkness and her music that she doesn't notice him at first. So when she feels that hand on her shoulder, she does give a bit of a surprised gasp before noticing him. "Oh. Tim." She says this, pulling the headphones out of her ears. "...Nikki didn't think you would find her in here...that no one would find her in here..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks to her, and says "Are you ok? Do you need me to give you some space? I just wanted to make sure your ok?

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki nods slowly. "Nikki is fine. She's...mostly embarassed..." Tapping the two ear pieces from her headphones together while she talks, and she doesn't make eye contact with Tim after initially noticing he was in the space with her. "...Nikki didn't mean...t-to embarass Tim...in front of his brother and friend.."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks to her, and says "Hon, you did not embarass me" He will move to gently lift her face to look at him if she allows him. "You were great hon, you did not embarass me at all, and I can say with pretty sure, neither Zee or Damian think anything less of you.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki lets him lift her face to look at him, and she listens to what he says...but then tears begin to fall. "But that's just it isn't it? Look at that poor girl... just like a child acting all shy and... being all... all..." She can't think of the words, even if that's what she's been trying to figure out this whole time alone. "Tim it never gets any better. No matter how hard Nikki tries... she can't help but become this...this... always an attack. The brain doesn't work like it should. Nikki's not normal and she knows that, she just doesn't know why..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will pull her into a gentle hug and says "No, not look at her acting like a child, someone who is dealing with something but is a great person. He looks at her, and says "Trust me hon, my friends and family know that sometimes life throws things at us and we just deal with it as best we can. To be honest with you, you probably say Damian in his best behavior in years last night." He hmmms and thinks what to add "Sometimes he does not have the best people skills but he is trying to be better, but still comes off as an ass a lot of time.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki goes into that hug hard, even if he meant it to be gentle. Holding tight to him while he speaks words meant to calm her down, to soothe her. There's a sniffle or two before she seems to calm down a little. "She just hates becoming that in front of people. Out in public. It's why she hardly goes out in public unless she needs to...but she's been trying to do better so she and Tim can do things. Not just sit around the house like lumps onna log..." Finally, she pulls back, wipes at her eyes. "....Nikki just wants to get better....all the time..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmms and says "Well, I am ok with you how you are Nikki, you don't have to change for me, if your wanting to work on it for yourself I will do everything to support you but you don't have to change for me."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki smiles a little, and nods her head. "Tim keeps saying that. Nikki's starting to believe it." Her gaze shifts down to the floor again. "Sorry for...being all emotional...upset about it.. it just gets to her sometimes.."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks to her, and says "It is ok, you need time we do that." He will move to get behind her and wrap his arms around her again to hold her "We can lay in here for a while if you want."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki smiles and nods, then lets him get behind her and shifts just a little to curl up against him, laying her head on his chest. "I'd like that..." And that might be fine for a bit, until Nikki's stomach makes a very audible gurgling sound. When was the last time she ate?

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks to her and says "Sounds like you could use something to eat, what are you in the mood for hon?

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki shakes her head. "I dunno...maybe pizza? Could we order pizza and maybe curl up together and watch movies all night?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, his head and says "Of course hon, we can get pizza and maybe a few sides. You want to watch movies in here or down in the main living are, or the bedroom?

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki blinks. "We can watch movies in the closet?" She gives a light giggle then. "Nikki thinks that would be interesting. All snuggled up here in the dark. With your...clothes...and stuff..." Which makes her actually laugh at the idea.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods his head a bit and says "Sure, I can either bring a tv in here or one of the projectors and we can project it on the wall. What ever you want love."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki thinks about it for another moment. "Actually, maybe we'll be a little more comfortable all snuggled in...oh!" Then an idea hits her. "Do you have a room where like all the couches come together to make like a big rectangle and you can just toss blankets and pillows innit like a sunken fort kinda thing? And we can eat food and snuggle and watch things!"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, a bit and says "We can move some furniture around to make it like that, I think we can make it perfect, just have to move a few things.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki smiles wide and nods. "Okay....lets go!" It's amazing how someone like Nikki can go from upset to happy in what seems like a snap of fingers. It really breaks down to what she's focused on, sometimes in a hyper type of way. "Tim. Nik--I--I love you. Thank you for being there for me."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake holds her close, and kisses her, and says "I love you too hon, and I am always here for you."
