But it isn't going to stay a family fun day.<br><br>From the dark and stormy sky streaks a black object wreathed in green flames. It lands before the Natural History Museum with a huge *BOOM* of force, sending people withing 100? falling down. The black thing stands, still aflame, and reveals itself to be female. Her skin looks like it is made of obsidian. As fast as she landed she is moving quickly to one family. Still downed the group of four are blinking in a daze. Two mothers, a young son, and a young teenage daughter, probably about 15. <br><br>The figure reaches down and yanks the girl to her feet. It can be seen she is trying to communicate, but all that anyone around can hear is the crackle of flames. The girl stares in fear that is slowly fading away at the thing holding her by the arms.<br> <br>

As he was cruising through the streets, the sight and sound of the BOOM had obviously caught his attention. Naturally curious, he had parked and then made his way through the freezing rain to the scene. Nunchucks are wielded and ready! They sit ready to fly, one held in each hand. Truth be told, he was a bit scared. He had never seen an alien before. o_o<br> <br>

Oh sure there is a little recoil, but the obsidian person looks at the dripping sugary sweetness then the turtle. Where her eyes are, for the black glass-like skin is cut just like a human face, are green with flames. A hand raises towards the turtle and a jet of green fire erupts for it, aimed at the turtle. <br><br>The girl she holds does not appear to be struggling. In fact her face is one of surprise and concern. "Maya?" She can be heard to gasp. The figure's head snaps back to the captive teen and then hugs her close. The family is struggling to their feet and staring in fear at the flaming creature.<br> <br>

NOW you want some of this, huh?!" Ducking and rolling to the side, Mikey avoids the green fire that erupts from the alien hand. Running for the family that is near the girl, he starts waving his arms wildly. Nunchucks flailing, just to get more attention. "Get out of here, dudes! Go! It is hard to tell expression on the carved rock face, but the creature looks sad. It reaches up and wipes away a tear before shoving her back to a terrified mother. The other mother, also afraid, is staring at the 'alien' in puzzlement as well. <br><br>Pushed out of the way means the arms that reach through from thin air find no girl. And as Rogue and Michelangelo move closer they can see the burning tear in space and a figure in red on the other side. The voice made of crackling flames tries to speak again, pointing at the girl as it steps in front of the portal. Soft chanting begins to sound and the obsidian being freezes in place. The flames still dance all over her black skin, but she appears frozen long enough for the two to close the distance.<br> <br>

The teen is sobbing, trying to push past to go to that out held hand. <br><br>Mikey may be feeling out of his depth here. But he sees another rip in space appear behind Rogue. A red figure in red steps through it silently, reaching out to grab the teenage mutant, not the turtle, from behind. A green fire, similar to obsidian-girl, wreathes his hand.<br> <br>

The green flamed hand doesn?t reach Rogue and he does go stumbling back into the portal with a very human cry of pain. He is dragged aside and a larger man steps through. Much larger and built like a brick. He wears a red tunic and pants and an unfamiliar symbol is emblazoned on his chest. Hair shaved and head tattooed in black tentacles that seem to move of their own accord. <br><br>The obsidian being goes flying forward from the punch and crashes into one of the golden lions. There is the sound of metal being pounded out of shape. Where Rogue's fist hit green fire leaps, devouring cloth but unable to burn the tough girl. The family screams and bolts for the entrance of the museum. Both mothers have a different child, the boy being carried, the girl being dragged. The teen does not wish to be removed from the obsidian's presence and struggles, crying out, "MAYA!" As she does, tears running down her face.<br><br>The creature pushes away from the cracked and bent lion. Rogue can see the cracks spreading from the point of impact, but it also is strong and it is pissed. The creature screams and it sounds like a roaring fire as it launches at Rogue, 50 ton punch of green flame heading for her at just under the speed of sound.<br> <br>

She said after the other, a good old fashoined taunt was always fun.<br><br>Out of the corner of her eye she saw Mikey's bulky form go flying past her and it amde the girl with the White/Brown hair spin around to see him kick another attacker back into a portal. "Nice one!" She said to Mike, moving to give him a High-Five only to see that her glove was on fire with green flames? "Yeegh." It's a classic.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Then, of course, the much larger man steps through to approach the ninja turtle. "Dude, you left your protein shake back in your other dimension. He had observed the tentacles moving on their own accord. o_o "You might want get that checked out. Anyway, it's you and me, big guy." Seeing the sight of this human enemy (despite the strangeness) had put him at ease and made him relax somewhat. He could fight this guy. He puts that to the test, aiming to send a swinging nunchuck into his opponents knee to try and dislocate it.<br> <br>

As it does it peels away from what quickly is revealed to be a teenage girl. Twin to the one sobbing and fighting to run back. The punch loses all power and the girl collapses. <br><br>The darkness spreads, going deeper than the skin, as she absorbs whatever that was. The nunchuck hits and there is a notable crack of breaking bone. The leg bends inwards, but the man just smiles. His nunchuck spins hard, crashing into the OTHER knee that the muscly man has, just as the tasers hit him in the back and start frying his flesh. As the beefcake jerks about and laughs, Mikey takes this moment to put some distance between the duo. "Aw yeah. I hope you like stir fry! Cause that's exactly how you smellin' right now, dude." Please. As if Mikey knew what a stir fry smelled like. He's probably never had one!<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Regardless, with the demon now attached to Rogue and the muscly man in the hands of police, the turtle starts to make his escape. The longer he lingers here and the more exposed he gets to the authorities, the worse it becomes for him. At least, that's how it's always been in the past. "Enjoy your jail cell. Last I heard they don't even get wifi." Ugh! With a cheeky salute, the turtle makes his escape -- retreating in the cold rain and back to his van. Obviously he's happy enough to leave the girl there, letting the proper people deal with it.<br> <br>

When he falls the muscles recede into his skin again. The portals have closed and it looks like the assailants have decided to try again...later. <br><br>Police carefully approach the downed muscle man, bringing out the special cuffs. They are bolted on and thick and his feet are locked down as well. Just in case a power-neutralizing collar is placed on his neck as well. Yet they are having trouble moving him. <br><br>The family has converged on the downed girl and her twin. There are tears and more crying as they try to wake Maya. The scene secured ambulances arrive to do their part and then a special transport for the unconscious assailant. Kidnapping avoided and a culprit captured, but at what cost?<br> <br>
