Description
Description:
He is often seen wearing some kind of military fatigues, which consists of a green muscle shirt, camouflaged pants, and tightly laced boots. A United States flag tattoo adorns each shoulder, following standard American military protocol, the flag on his right shoulder is horizontally inverted, to give the illusion that the flag is flying 'towards' battle.
Curiously, he wears two sets of dog tags on a chain around his neck. One is his own, while the other belongs to Charlie Nash.
History
History:
Several years later, he would be sent by the United States Air Force to rescue his friend Charlie, who had dropped out of communication during a mission in Shadaloo. Although Guile successfully located him, they would spend months together in a jungle prison, escape, with Charlie ultimately being recaptured, and by all appearances, dying in an explosion. Still, Charlie may be out there somewhere. Guile continues to believe it so.
Holding Master Bison responsible for the apparent death of Charlie Nash, Guile has worked tirelessly against him and his organization. Through this, he ascended to rank of Major in the United States Air Force, and has worked extensively with Interpol. It has taken him all over the world, he has fought in many tournaments, and spent years of his life, but now he is so close that he can taste it. Bison's going down!
Personality
Personality:
Once he gets his teeth into something or someone, he doesn't let up until it's concluded to his satisfaction.
This single-mindedness, some would say pigheadedness, has led to problems with his superiors. The good ones quickly picked up on the fact that he's usually right about these things, and its best to give him enough rope to hang himself. The bad ones try and get in his way. That doesn't usually end well for them.
However, he is loyal to his friends, cares about those around him, and when he gives advice; it usually comes from a sense of compassion, not anger.
Abilities
Flash Kick:
Guile can perform a somersault kick, which is also known as a Flash Kick. It is executed by performing a backflip that originates from a crouching position. The attack harshly kicks his opponent, with the arc leaving a visible yellow flash in its wake. There are two factors to consider when determining how severe this attack is.
Firstly, how long he has 'charged' it. He can create these flashes instantaneously, but the longer he focuses before creating them, the more powerful the attack becomes, and the higher he jumps into the air as part of his somersault.
And secondly, how it struck his opponent. Taking it to the torso for example, is better than taking it on the chin.
Under ideal conditions, it would be akin to being hit by a car barrelling into his opponent at highway speeds. This is both rare and deliberate. He does not want to kill anyone.
As this is a Qi related ability, even if Guile doesn't necessarily understand it as such, not everyone can learn this move. He was taught by Charlie Nash, and who also had the genetic predisposition for it.
Other martial artists may not be able to learn it as he did, if they cannot tap into their Qi, which is similar, but slightly different than Chi, as outlined in +news Chi v Qi.
Performing a somersault kick is no more or less taxing for Guile than any other martial arts move, but he cannot perform a new one until he has landed, and begun crouching again.
Qi:
Guile has trace amounts of Homo Magi in his bloodline, enough that he can tap into it as his Qi, and harness it in order to perform certain special moves, like his Flash Kick and Sonic Boom. He was taught by Charlie Nash, who also possessed Qi. Anyone with Qi can learn these. But if you do not have Qi, no matter how much you train, you will never be able to perform them. In all other respects, it functions similarly to Chi, as defined in +news Chi v Qi. Broadly speaking, Chi is always internally focused, whereas Qi can be used both internally and externally.
Sonic Boom:
Firstly, how long he has 'charged' it. He can create these waves instantaneously, but the longer he focuses before creating it, the more powerful the attack becomes. Charging also slows the speed of the wave, and its maximum distance.
Secondly, how far away a person is when they are struck. Point blank is the most severe, and with enough time and distance, it dissipates into nothing.
And thirdly, how it struck his opponent. Taking it to the torso for example, is better than taking it on the chin.
Under ideal conditions, it would be akin to being hit by a freightliner truck barrelling into his opponent at highway speeds. This is both rare and deliberate. He does not want to kill anyone.
As this is a Qi related ability, even if Guile doesn't necessarily understand it as such, not everyone can learn this move. He was taught by Charlie Nash, who unlike Guile, could do it one handed, and who also had the genetic predisposition for it.
Other martial artists may not be able to learn it as he did, if they cannot tap into their Qi, which is similar, but slightly different than Chi, as outlined in +news Chi v Qi.
Creating a wave is no more or less taxing for Guile than any other martial arts move, but he cannot create a new one until the last one struck his opponent, or dissipated.
Skills
Darts:
Guile is the reigning United States Air Force Darts Champion. His hand eye coordination goes well beyond firearms and street fighting.

Firearms:
Guile received firearm training from the United States Air Forces and G.I. Joe.
Special Forces:
Guile received Special Forces training from the United States Air Force, G.I. Joe, and Charlie Nash.
Street Fighter:
Guile is an exceptional martial artist, capable of competing with the best human fighters in the world. He will win some, he will lose some, but no matter his opponent, he will give a good showing, enough that demands their respect. His style is difficult to classify, but it appears to be based on a mixture of Taekwondo and Karate, with Kung Fu elements, as well as some boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. Clearly, he has incorporated elements from other styles as he saw fit.

Guile embraces and actively demonstrates the Air Force Core Values of integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all he does. He knowingly and willfully puts himself in harm's way.
Bison:
Guile holds a grudge against Master Bison that borders on obsession. However, when Bison is finally behind bars, or dead, Guile will walk away. He keeps telling himself that. He has to.
Guilt:
Guile feels responsible for Charlie Nash's fate. They were captured and escaped, but Charlie was re-captured and is presumed dead. His guilt and his desire for vengeance are two sides to the same coin. On the guilt side, he beats himself up and closes himself off, for the role he played in it, and the risk that he could play it again with someone else.
Loner:
Guile works alone or so he says. He has made an exception from time to time for a certain Interpol agent who won't take no for an answer.
