Shiloh Foster is a woman who should be reknowned for her namesake, but has gone thru many desperate attempts to be as far displaced from it as possible. She is not well known in New York just yet, having only landed in the city a short while ago with fundage enough to open the shop of her dreams. The bakery itself is called 'The Dark Side' - which is an homage to her gothic lifestyle but also her love for a certain sci-fi movie franchise. A formidable baker trying to make a name for herself while staving off night time threats with her various sword techniques learned throughout her life.

Description:

The young woman's hair is black. Too black honestly to be natural. It is cut short in what could generally be called a 'pixie cut', but honestly looks more like it was created with a sharp knife then with a pair of stylist's scissors. Her makeup is dark as well, with deep black eye shadow and extremely dark dusky rose lipstick that serves to accentuate just how pale her milky smooth skin truly is. And just like her skin, the dark make up also makes her blue eyes shine as if they were back lit by small stars. At her ears she wears a simple pair of white gold hoop earrings.

Around her throat she wears a leather choker with silver snaps on the side, though when she stretches her neck in certain ways one might catch glimpses of tattoos hidden beneath it. Her top, like so many other parts of her appearance, is black. In this case she is wearing a thin black sleeveless tank top that clings to her torso and generous chest almost like a second skin. Over the tank she wears a looser blouse of black lace that is completely transparent and shows the tank and the skin of her arms underneath. On her right arm, completely covering her right shoulder is a tattoo of a rose. It;s done completely in black, and if she lets you get close enough a phrase can be read inside the petals. "Do not attack me with lies, when I can destroy you with the truth."

She is wearing a black skirt, too long to be improper but too short to be considered truly decent. The skirt shimmers like leather, but moves like cotton on her body. Underneath the skirt she is wearing black leggings that cling perfectly to her shapely legs. Finally she is wearing a pair of glossy black boots, whose eyelets and laces start just above her toes and continue up all of the way past her knees.

History:

Shiloh Foster was born to Charles and Patricia Foster in London, England. Her father, Charles, was the head of the Thieves Guild of London, which is just one of many branches of this Guild around the world. Being the daughter of a Grandmaster means that most of Shiloh's life was handed to her on a silver platter. She never had to want for anything, and while her parents were not around much, they left her in the very capable hands of butlers and nannies. Though as she grew older, much to the chagrin of her father, she would vehemently battle the idea of her joining the Thieves Guild at all.

She did have very good education, including learning various sword fighting techniques with the HEMA, and ultimately went to Harley Oxford to obtain her degree in the culinary arts - receiving a combined degree for both chef and patisseire. This happened while she found herself in the middle of a scandal - which she actually caused - that lasted until she was walking for graduation. An opportunistic time for everything to come to a head - she figured the best way to get out of the limelight of her father and the Guild, and as far away from it all as possible, moving out of the country would be the best way for everyone to get a little bit of what they wanted.

Thus, Shiloh finds herself in New York City. Her father gave her a small trust fund to hold herself over, and try to begin the dream she always wanted. Finding the perfect spot for her bakery - a place that used to be a donut shop that went under - it was only a short time for her to get the name out there and make a spot for herself. The Dark Side Bakery is a place where anyone and everyone can come in for a sweet stop, and she gets to live out the best time of her life.

Shiloh is a woman who can be stubborn as a mule or generous as Santa Claus. It all depends on her surroundings, and if she is having a good day or not. Though it might be tough breaking through her 'thick skin', it is not impossible.
