Synopsis: Dr. McCoy and the Flash talk over a donation to the ccomputer lab of Xavier's School
Cast of Characters: Flash, Beast

Flash has posed:
Seeing a speedster around Xavier's School was not an uncommon sight. There was usually an X-Man, or a student, with such gifts, sometimes both. But it was rare to see one that was pretty much entirely one colour. Several trips had been made, with the red blur going to and fro, going from outside the school, all the way to the computer lab. And then the zipping back and forth stopped, with a man decked out all in red and with a little bit of yellow accents, standing next to a large pile of boxes, which contained computers.

He was leaning against them, smiling, "so Hank, did you want me to set up the new computers, or would you like to do the honours." There was also a plate of twinkies on a countertop, with a glass of milk to wash them down.

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy is drinking a can of Mr. Thunder as he comes by the lab, checking on what's going on. Finsihing the can, he crushes it and tosses it into a bin. "Good evening. New computers... I can set them up of course, but I'm not going to say no to any ceremony involving a donation. Thank you of rthinking of us."

Flash has posed:
The Flash walked over and offered a gloved hand, which bore his ring that he uses to store his clothes. "Glad to do it, Dr. McCoy. Oh, and I managed to sneak a little something for you. I hope it's your size." On top of the computer boxes, which were still sealed, there was one with Flash Museum labeling on it. The Flash pulled out a very large white t-shirt that read 'if lost, please return me to the Flash Museum, Central City, Missouri.' And had the museum's logo on it.

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy is always good for a firm handshake, though generally he has to hold back substantially. "Thank you again." The shirt makes him laugh. "That's fantastic. I'll make sure to wear it." At least, he then holds it up to himself to see if it will fit. "And we'll put up a plaque."

Flash has posed:
"Really," he held up a hand, "there's no need. Even if they named a Museum after the first guy, and me, and those who come after, time travel's weird, but, despite all that, I'm not Booster Gold. No need for a plaque. Just enjoy it. Unless of course you really want to, of course. Besides, this is just paying it forward. Hammer Industries gave us a big donation after they ran into some..." his voice dropped to a whisper, and put a hand to cover his mouth from the door, "P.R. issues. We gave them out to a bunch of local schools in the area, and some not in the area. It's the kids that are important."

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy surveys the lab, looking at the computers, leaning over and peeking at once to get a good look. And then, once work is done, he walks over to the plate, and starts laughing. "Oh you shoudln't have. Thank you." he laughs. But he does start eating twinkies. "Well I'm glad you laundered the donation for us. I can't thiank you enough."

Flash has posed:
That makes the Flash genuinely laugh, "laundered donations... that's a new one," and he was a forensic scientist, so was at least adjacent to laundering concerns; money being the usual one. "I heard you were a fan, and as one food aficionado to another," he patted his particularly lean and muscular stomach, "I... workout a lot... I know how it can be when you get the munchies. Lately I've been on a Big Belly Burger kick. Thankfully they haven't lived up to the name."

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy tosses one twinkie butt into his mouth, and winks. "It is nice when you can eat all you want, of whatever you want, and not have to worry about it, isn't it? Well, between you and me, if you don't want a plaque, tell me what you would want honored in your place."

Flash has posed:
The answer was simple and direct. It was but one word. "Superman."

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy folds his arms, and hums. "How's the Superman Memorial Computer Lab sound?"

Flash has posed:
"That sounds great, Hank, just great." Yeah, even though he wore a mask, there was a little something in his eye. He brushed it off with his red gloved hand, not referencing it, hiding it, just, dealing with it. And then, after a bit of a pause, the whirlwind began. Not a real one, but there was a red blur moving about the room. Barry was both incredibly fast, and he knew his way around a computer. It didn't take him long to remove the hard drives from the existing ones, pack them up, set them aside, unpack the new ones, set them up, and within a few moments, there was a stack of hard drives on a counter and every one of the new computers was booting up. "So, uh, I'll let you get whatever's needed from those hard drives and remove all the normal bloat ware, put in security, network, yeah... there's no fast way to do that. Sorry."

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy sighs, and chuckles. "Well it'll be educational when I round up a team of students to take care of all that stuff." he decides, with a firm nod and a grabbing of a twinkie. "Can I buy you dinner at least?"

Flash has posed:
"Good call. Get them to do it." Having to set up a few dozen computers at once was an absolute nightmare. So many updates, so many loading screens. "And sounds good, I love to eat. Here, in town, tonight, some other night?"

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy grins "I was thinking now, someplace local. Could go with something simple like pizza. Just go order a stack and show off?" The last twinkie is dusted off easily. "Mmm. Or someplace more formal if you prefer. I'm in a casual mood. Up to you though."

Flash has posed:
"Pizza it is. But let's make it tonight, order more. This is a school after all. I'm sure the Museum can help with that too. And who doesn't like pizza? I know people who are intolerant of alliums and still love pizza. Even if you know... it doesn't like them." The Flash then wrote down a number, his communicator was linked to it, "hey, give me a call. I got an errand I need to run, but I'll be back soon." And then he headed out, disappearing and leaving Hank with all those screens that were booting up and waiting for some attention.
