Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy's garage is full of odd smells, brake fluid, oil, gasoline, antifreeze.....and yet, in the midle of it all is one Mercedes Athena Thompson. She's come back here after lunch. Mercy's doing her best to forget about the weird magic things that happened at lunch. With a wrench in hand, she's in overalls, piecing a Wasserboxer engine back together again. it's going in a Rabbit. That's one of her latest projects to sell. The door's open to the garage and Mercy isn't trying to hide herself. Instead. Mercy is doing what she does best.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Finally! She had tracked her down. Which make the next question: what was the next to do ? Willow didnt know. Of course she didnt hide herself, just standing wondering.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
A glance over and Mercy smiles. "Come on in. Did you need help with a car or something?" she asks then sets the wrench down and grabs a rag to wipe the oil and grease from her hands. Wiping them she sets the rag back down and starts walking to the door. "C'mon in, I got cookies in the office"

Not her usual tactics, but....true. There are fresh cookies in the office

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow looks around her and as blushes. "Oh you meant me."

She makes her way into in the shop. "No. I really would like on, but I cant afford one. I really cant afford Chinese for lunch either, but that a different matter. Can I ask you something?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"Sure" Mercy says, looking pleased as she closes up the toolbox and finds a spot to sit. "What's up?" she adds and looks to Willow aftr a glance around the shop again.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow gives Mercy a serious look. "I can tell why you why my friend is magic, but people never tell why I am." A pause. "Why did you?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy's used to serious looks. She's not intimidated growing up with werewolves. Mercy smiles, looking somewhere between amused and puzzled. "Why do people never work out what you are, but I can? Because I can sense magic" Mercy says. She's trusting Willow not to run around revealing these secrets.....though Mercy smiles. "It helps with my heritage" Mercy says gently, trying her best to be reassuring.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Great thing that Willow was not intimidating, but she was curious. "Then you are magical as well. I cant sense unless your working her magic. Whats is like?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"My magic is a little different. I can see ghosts and talk to them" Mercy offers with a nod. "It comes with my father being Coyote" she explains. "It's interesting really, and it isn't exactly your normal idea of magic" Mercy nods , "What about you?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Well," Willow returns. "I can sometimes ghosts and other magical beings, but is different? I mean if you are in front of me, and not doing any thing magical, you look as the same. Does that make sense?" Then is a pause. Willow blinks, "Your father the a what? A coyote?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy nods. "It's hard to explain. You know Coyote, the trickster deity? That's my father" Mercy offers with a genuine, honest look. "See, I'm the daughter of a Native American deity" Mercy says gently looking like she's being as honest as she cann. "Ghosts are interesting though" Mercy nods keenly.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Thats your father? Really?" Willow looks like she is thinking. "Wow, neat. So you the other kind of magical. Ghosts are pretty weird."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"Yeah he is. Honestly, pain at times" Mercy grins looking to Willow with her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Though I got his trickster nature, too and knack for trouble" she adds and looks relieved. Mercy is, well, she's definitely a troublemagnet, but, but...

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"My mom tried to break our gang up. She didn't believe in us. She thought we were crazy, and tried to rescue us. It got really crazy." Willow's remembers.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy raises an eyebrow and looks a little worried. "She...wait, what?" Mercy adds and looks worried. "You sure you're alright?" she adds and looks a little uneasy that anyone would even try that one

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Its okay. She was in a trance.. She's mostly okay it with days." Of course Willow doesn't talk about what she really does to her mother.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy has an idea. "So you did magic and she's in a trance?" Mercy offers. She'ss read up on that withh her history degree. "Though" Mercy says with a smile. "I'm sure you did it for the right reasons however" she offers and looks genuinely sure. There's her habit of leaping into situations again...

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Well, she was IN a trace. Its really okay." Willow brushes it off. "Can we talk about something else. Please?" Willow pleads with Mercy to change the topic. "What about you?'

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy grins, "of course. What about me? Let's see. I grew up in Montana, got my tattoos, got my degree, and came out here" she says. "That's the short version. Longer version? I was raised in Montana after shenanigans with my parents. I was raised in Montana, like I said. I left and got my degree. History" she adds and looks pleased with herself. "Any questions?" she asks.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow cants her head. "Are your tats magical?" Yep. That's what she wants to know. Are her tattoos magical. She takes a chair, and waits for the answer.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"No they aren't. I got them from a friend" Mercy offers. "Some days, I wish they were. Other days? Not so much" Mercy adds watching Willow. "Though, I don't need magic in my tats when I got a few tricks up my sleeve" Mercy says gently.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Hhnn" Willow puts a tidbits away. It might be useful seem day. "Too bad. But I guess being just magical probably doesnt need tats." She sits quietly for a moment, then... "Do have have to use verbal components, or somnantical? Or both." Her mind is full of questions now!

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"No no, nothing like that. I can just step into being a coyote" Mercy says with a laugh. "I've no spells at all, but given who my father is, I've different gifts and tricks up my sleeve" Mercy explains. "yes, that's coyote as in four pawed canine, too. Large dog thing" she nods, "Oh and before you ask, yes I've been chased by animal control too"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow has covered up her mouth, but even so, she can't stop her mouth from giggling. "Oh no! You must have hope they didnt catch you!" And then she *blinks*. "They /didnt/ catch you... did they?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"They didn't" Mercy confirms with a grin. "They didn't catch me. I work with cars for a living though so" Mercy says watching Willow. "I don't do much with magic. I more see it as a part of me" she offers and smiles.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"See, I see work on the two half of myself. I think its blind wall. Its a.. some day I will figure it out." Willow confesses her deep dark well of shame.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy looks over to Willow. "See we're not so different are we?" she asks and gets a wrench out of the tool box. Looking to Willow, Mercy smiles.o how much do you know about cars?" she asks.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Uhuh" Willow answers truthfully. "I barely know where the gas is." A pause, the she adds, "You wont tell anyone? Buffy counts on me. I am it. If they worried about me.." Willow shudders.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy looks please. "I won't tell Buffy.Don't worry. Your secret's safe with me" shee smiles, twirling the wrench in her hands. She steps over to an Opel GT. "You want a ride anywhere? I need to finish working on this car however" mercy says as she wriggles under the car.
