Creating a new drone.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake is down in the robotics lab of the Roost. He was talking to Barbra the previous day about a new mini drone he has been working on, that should be about the size of thick credit card before deployed,

Oracle has posed:
Babs has come over to check this out. She's brought herself and coffee over...and left the coffee outside the lab too. Leaning on the wall she's wearing a jacket, jeans, and her boots too with her hair tied back. Looking to Tim, Babs nods. "Hey" she says with a nod andd looks like she's been up all night. Which she actually has.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over his shoulder and says "Hey there, how you doing?" He will as, and turns around to look at her, removing the magnifying glasses he was wearing, and offers her a smile "I think I got it down about as small as am going to get them for now, with having the abilities I want them to have. There is what looks about like a stack of playing cards on the table.

Oracle has posed:
"Good" Babs nods. "You got them all programmed, or do you need my expertise to figure this out? I can take a look at the code if you'd like and offer my advice and opinions and input?" she nods, striding over to stand by Tim, watching the drones. "So what's the plan with them?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over to her "I have some of the programing but not all of it. I am thinking easily moveable bugs and spy cams, but I am thinking also might be able to put a reflective coating on the back accessible through a charge change along the outside shell or such, and maybe be able to have them be able to lock into place with one another for extra uses. One of the problem having is the code for forming shapes if one if missing or damaged.

Oracle has posed:
Babs nods and makes a 'hmmm' sound. "That's doable. So" Babs offers looking over to the drones again then Tim. "Want to show me the code so we can go over it?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods and will move over to one of the stations with multiple computer access points and bring the code up on a couple of the larger screens for Babs to scan through "Right now, I got the check going if the previous card is still there, if not take it's place, but that lags it down as ends up naking them all go through the process and even worse if there are multiple missing.

Oracle has posed:
Babs takes a seat and stretches, examining the code. "Okay, let's see here...."

From one nerd to another, Babs is going line by line. "See here, you can optimize the code if you streamline the checking loop and have it store drones it's already checked and know not to check them again" she offers.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods his head a bit to this and says "Thought about having it start on the end line of them to fill in holes, hoping that would not cause the same lag spike if say 12-17 was missing and 18 had to become 17, then 16, 15 and such.

Oracle has posed:
"Leave this to me, just tell me what you want the drones to do and...." Babs nods keenly. "THey'll do it!"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake says, "Well I am wanting them to be able to take on multiple shapes that might be able to come in handy. Thinking if I can set up enough of them, can be used as a larger drone could be to help carry someone out of a emergency area to help, used as a bridge, a shield or what not."

Oracle has posed:
Babs nods and looks over the code. "That's all remote controlled" she muses and stares at the code just willing it to do what she wants, as she's pulled up a new codee sheet and is tapping and typing away on the keys and looks to the code as it's made. "Okay, first tiny bit done. Want to test it?" Babs asks.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, a bit, and will move to put on one of his gloves, and working the fingers the "cards" spring to life and start to spread out a bit.

Oracle has posed:
"Good" Babs nods, looking over while typing. "Okay now.....you should be ablee to get them to form a flying gurney" she says with a smile, hitting enter on the keyboard and hovering her fingers over the keys.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and will do a few simple movement, and soon they are forming that pretty well, and he will look over "Try disabling 5,9, 12-15, 33, 45, and 22 and I wil see if they can still form the bridge.

Oracle has posed:
"lright!" Babs nods cheerfully. "Those are disabled. Now try. I've already got more ideas for other ideas" she says eyes locked on the screen. "Okay, there"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake watches it and they do form the shape, but it is still a bit slower than should be it will take some more coding between the two to get them to the speed wanted "What else ya got in mind?"

Oracle has posed:
"I was going to look into seeing if you could make them more aerodynamic" Babs offers and looks over her code again. "Okay, a bit more speed, try now?" she asks. Ah the life of a programmer

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake tries the shield pattern, and they are quicker but not something the two will get done in one day it seems. "Yea I aint 100% sure on the shape yet, need them to be able to link and one take another's place but I would prefer a shape a bit more in theme.

Oracle has posed:
Babs nods. "A robin maybe, or a theater given where we are?" she smiles a little, focused on the code in front of her as she looks away from the screen. "It's easy to think up, not hard to code"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake smiles and says "Well aa theater might give the bad guys to much of an idea where to look, and A robin or an R or RR that link up is the part working on, I mean I could do RR for gurney or bride but not a very good shield.

Oracle has posed:
Babs looks amused and settles more into her seat, watching Tim. "Alright, so....aside that, what else do you want?" Babs nods looking thoughtful and tucks her hair behind her ears.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and says "Well might be working on some other things for someone, you remember when I talked to you about my girl friend not being in the business?
