Twitch has posed:
There's a good deal going on in Mutant Town tonight. It's not a super busy part of the city, but that doesn't mean it's quiet, either. Folks have things to do and people to see and the like.

At one of the temporary free clinics in the city, one that's closing down for the night, there just happens to be a lot of biological samples from the population of Bushwick. Mutant blood, in particular, might just come in handy for those with nefarious science designs. And some of those folks happen to work for people who employ ninjas to get what they want.

One of those ninjas is Tyler Grant. The young man is dressed in traditional ninja attire with a few splashes of red, a large number of shuriken and a pair of hook swords across his back. He's even masked, with those mesh lens masks so that no part of his body is exposed. With him are a few other shinobi. They're currently hanging out on top of a building next to the temporary clinic.

Rage has posed:
"So, Nevada, the reason why I brought you out here is because I'm excited that Starlight is going to be taking over this particular free clinic and injecting a ton of resources into it. It's the one free clinic here in Mutant Town that has the largest building for occupancy. My goal is to expand upon it. Going to buy the next building over and then create a twin of sorts. My team is already working with lawyers and city planners."

Andrea seems to be in good spirits tonight as she heads down the street towards the clinic with her twin brother. She's dressed casually in a NYU sweater and a pair of jeans, as well as a purse over her shoulder. As she looks up at the sign of the clinic, she smiles proudly. "Trying to help mutants find a safe place to seek out medical attention is important to me. It's one of the ways I am trying to give back to the community who has supported me."

Barghest has posed:
"Injecting may be an awkward term when talking about a clinic." Points out Nevada as he walks beside her. He's dressed simply, casual street clothes to match a guy who's only distinct quality is a stiff limp.

"But I hope it works out. Actually, I may be around here more to lend a hand. I was talking with Jay about helping at the club. Overnight kind of work, cleaning, stocking - off hours, so I don't have to bail during busy hours. So he sent Sam my info."

His eyes turn away from her and onto the clinic. "It's a good idea. There's always someone who needs help, and I wager with some mutations, they must have a harder time even finding anyone willing or able to help."

Twitch has posed:
"Alright, lets hit it," Tyler will tell his ninjas as he watches one of the security guards pass by the rear entrance to the clinic. He and his sneaky types begin to descend the building, sticking to the darkness as the make their ways down. Tyler himself is impressively fast, utilizing his acrobatic abilities to swiftly and quietly drop from window ledge to window ledge until he gets to the ground. From there he looks around and heads for the back door, telling his team, "We need to be fast. We know the layout, we get in, empty the refrigerators, get out and scatter. If we drop the ball on the alarm back here just smash and grab, taking care of any opposition." His head twitches slightly before he motions to one of the Foot members and points to the door, "Disable the alarm and get it open."

Rage has posed:
"Ha. Ha. You're a comedian." Andrea says in regards to his injecting comment, giving him a playful bump of the shoulder.

"And why are you getting a job for? You're practically a .. I don't know .. a God or something." She teases him. "And you got the super rich sister. Are you honestly that bored of having three thousand channels and a beautiful view of New York City from my home and talking to dead people? You want to wait tables?"

As she stares up at the clinic, she gives a small twitch of her nose, then tilts her head to one side. Her senses are razor sharp, even in the city as she glances about a bit. "Huh. Thought I heard someone talking nearby. City is loud."

Barghest has posed:
"A super rich sister who doesn't need to spend all her money feeding and entertaining me." Nevada bumps his shoulder back against her's. "I already mooch off your penthouse. I can at least keep my stomach full on my dime. Besides, it's good to stay grounded in some measure of normalcy. ...and yes, I've watched everything on Netflix. I'm bored."

As she makes mention of hearing something, his pace slows as he glances around their surroundings. "Hm, don't notice anything, but I can go hound and see if there's anything if you want."

Twitch has posed:
The back door to the clinic pops open when the ninja finishes with it and most of the team heads inside, lead by Tyler. They make a direct line towards the lab, looking to grab what they're looking for and get out. Unfortunately for them the guy who unlocked the back door is still there when the security guard changes direction abruptly because he forgot to try the door to make sure its still locked when he passed it. Upon seeing a ninja his mouth drops open and he yells, "What are you doing here? Get away from that... ah crap!" The shout at the end being a result of having a shuriken thrown into his cheek most painfully.

The team inside hears the yelling and gets to working as fast as they can, proceeding to fill cooler bags with blood samples from the fridges.

Rage has posed:
"Hold up." Andrea says as she grabs Nevada by the arm. "I heard screaming around back. I can smell blood in the air. Something is happening. Come on."

Pushing off her foot, she makes her way down the alley at a quick run, turning the corner to the rear entrance. Her eyes fall upon the injured security guard, then back towards the pajama clothed ninja. Her dark eyes narrow visibly.

"You fucked up."

Barghest has posed:
It'll take Nevada several strides longer to reach the same place as Andrea, given his awkward gait. So he instead makes use of four legs instead. Changing for him takes a blink of an eye, maybe two if someone's an especially fast blinker. As Andrea is already there and giving her warning, the shaggy black dog rounds the corner and comes up alongside her. His growl is a low, menacing thing.

Twitch has posed:
The ninja doesn't hesitate before hurling another shuriken at the big ol' dog, aiming for center mass. There's no way the thing will kill anybody aimed there, but it will hurt like a son of a bitch.

Inside, the other guys continue loading up the blood. It doesn't take them too long since they're working together, and soon they're headed towards the entrance they came in through.

Rage has posed:
As the ninja goes through the motion of throwing the shuriken at her 'pet', Andrea steps forward and throws out a quick, high spin kick that is aimed for the head of the man. She doesn't hesitate as prior training takes over, adrenaline filling her veins.

Instead of snappy comebacks or words filled with rage, she'll just go to work instead as her hands rise up to guards her throat and the side of one eye, curling her fingers into fists.

"Nev! Get in there and smoke 'em out!"

Barghest has posed:
Ninjas are fast, and the shuriken hits and brings a sharp yelp from the dog as it wedges itself just behind one shoulder blade with a tine stuck in a high rib. It does not appear to slow Nevada down anymore than a quick kick. With a sharp snarl at Andrea's command, the shaggy black beast leaps past her and towards the open door.

Twitch has posed:
The ninja is caught completely off guard by the young woman's kick and gets rocked, falling to the ground after the blow. He's not out of the fight, however, and finds himself rolling to his feet to get back in the fight.

The ninjas are almost to the door when they see the dog fill the door frame. Tyler, rather than deal with the beast directly, makes a detour to an office along the back wall of the clinic. As he enters the room he grabs a laptop off of a desk and hurls it like a frisbee through the nearest window. Alarms start to go off as he jumps and tucks through the broken glass, holding his cooler bag out in front of him, to end up back in the alley behind the building to see one of his men fighting his friend.

Back inside one of the ninjas pulls kamas from his belt and charges the dog, swinging swiftly in an attempt to take down the animals quickly.

Rage has posed:
As the man hits the ground, Andrea moves forward swiftly, then drops down as she sweeps out her foot cleanly, looking to connect with the man's ankles once he gets back to his feet. Though she may not be trained in martial arts, being trained to be a future X-Men is just as grueling and intense.

"Back off my hell hound you creeps!"

As the other ninjas start to push through the doorway, her eyes narrow, giving a lick of her lips as she shifts her feet some into a defensive manner. "You guys better drop the stuff in the next five seconds, or what I'm about to do to you will give your ancestors nightmares."

Barghest has posed:
Unfortunately for the ninjas, the dog is clearly intelligent. Instead of just charging him back, the dog meets the bladed ninja with a stomp of a paw and a roar that should not come from an animal that size. As the blade swings, he ducks his head and tries to leap forward and lock his teeth around one of those ankles with its all important tendons to bite and shake and pull. It leaves his back exposed, but he seems to have already forgotten the blade already jammed in him.
