Cast of Characters: Silver Sable, Catwoman, Bullseye

Silver Sable has posed:
Warehouses. They are, usually...where things are stored, and....that's the long and short of it. See, she's here to chase down a lead on somebody who doesn't want to be captured, the 'she' in question is Silver Sablinova. The trail leads here, to a warehouse she was in before, where she had to think quickly on her feet to get out of trouble. Now, at a little past one in the morning, she is here again.

Because some minuimum wage ex con has info for her. And....she's taken the bait. Fortunately she's not stupid, she's armed to her usual level, really...and she is...if anything, half expecting a fight. The Wild pack get the night off. What are they needed for anyhow with this simple assignment.

Curiosity killed the cat. Silver is not a feline however. She is...very much human and very much Symkarian. And also here, looking for a way into the warehouse. That'd be a good starting point, Silver, in the slight rain. Ways in are a good place to start indeed so Silver is waiting, waiting on a way in to get noticed.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman has returned here after a short hiatus - hey, she's been busy, y'know, securing other important jobs, dealing with a giant panther demon..The usual stuff. But, with the large amount of money that she lost to a copycat burgler, Catwoman has fallen back on another bonanza promised her by a certain silverhaired Mercenary..

Let's just hope she has'nt backtracked on her promise to leave her alone.

Blending in well with the darkness in her black latex catsuit, the infamous catburglar sticks to the shadows as she scans the perimeter, then lurks ever closer, quiet as the cat she so famously and perfectly emulates, landing not far from Silver Sable. Of course she spots her first and frowns, trailing her from the shadows as she tries to determine what she's up to. Did she have second thoughts about leaving the Cat and her loot alone..?

Bullseye has posed:
Standing by his motorcycle not too far from the warehouse and taking a deep drag from a dampened cigarette, is the Bronx's favorite psycho-killer, qu'est-ce que c'est -- Bullseye. Clad in his all-black-everything work uniform, he raises his set of night-vision binoculars for Sable and catches Catwoman stealthily stalking around the warehouse, instead. "The hell's she doing here?" he mutters to himself, putting the binoculars away.

Surprised was putting it lightly. The last time he'd seen Selina, it was in the middle of the Light's secret headquarters where he was rubbing shoulders with Lex Luthor and Magneto, of all people. What she was doing here, he had no idea. Did she get the same hit contract on Silver Sable as he did? Well, he was about to find out. Sauntering towards the warehouse and flicking the cigarette away, Bullseye readies one of his throwing knives with a quick twirl and begins whistling to himself. Curious about what's going to transpire, he considers approaching this one with a bit of stealth. After all, Sable's a pro, and so is he. Even if she was gonna die tonight, she deserved some respect.

Silver Sable has posed:
Silver is a pro, a diplomat, and...many things in between. She is here to follow up on leads, and...yes, and things. She's caught glimpses of somebody trailing her, yes...and she's been concerned. She's consulted with the Wild Pack and is taking more precautions, which for her means keep her head on a swivel, and stay alert.

Looking around, Silver is on alert.

On the plus side she's found a hole in the fence, true and she's working cautiously and slowly on her way into the warehouse. It seemed so simple, get in, get info, get out.

Simple, on paper.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman is pretty sneaky, and there's a reason why she's been dubbed one of the best Catburglars out there. But clearly she's dealing, not with one, but two professional mercenaries. Oh yes, she's taken note of Bullseye trailing her, and those goggles aren't just for show. she freezes on the spot, hedging her bets.

Well, last time, she and Silver left on good terms, may as well make herself known. She continues to softly, quietly follow Silver through the hole and into the warehouse, smirking softly.

It's only when they're inside that she steps out of the shadows, making herself known. "Well well, isn't this a surprise? Back to the scene of the crime...Are we having second thoughts already?" she practically purrs, still keeping an ear out for the one who is trailing them.

Silver Sable has posed:
Silver whirls hearing Catwoman. "What" she asks through gritted teeth. "What are you doing here?" she asks. Okay, she doubts Selina's been trailing her for the past few days. But. But...right now anything is possible, and though she doesn't pull a weapon, at least...not yet, Silver's got an escape route in mind.

"The deal's still on" she says simply. "I won't stop you loading up everything you want from here, I am here for my own reasons"

Like she'll tell Catwoman what those reasons are, really, not Catwoman's bizz, so to speak. It's between Silver, the Wild Pack, the contact, and the poor soul who picked up the hit on her and has been trailing her these few days and nights. Admittedly, she's imagining whoever it is getting frustrated at her being in the embassy most of the time, really..

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman smiles sweetly as she strides confidently towards Silver. "Ooh, how easily you forget. Wasn't it just the other day where we made our little deal?" eyes narrow dangerously, clenching a fist as she tests her razor sharp claws against a nearby box.

Fortunately Sable *does* seem to remember and she smiles sweetly and nods. "Excellent. We wouldn't want to backtrack so quickly, especially since I lost so much because of that little 'deal'."

As she talks, Catwoman is still working things out in her mind. Spike promised to come meet her later, bring over his car so she could unload some stuff into it, but she brought her bike too, along with a little trailer to pack some stuff away herself.

"Dont mind me, shouldn't take long, I gotta say, this is a bad meeting spot though if you don't want to be noticed. By the way, you have a tail.."

Silver Sable has posed:
Silver grinds her teeth just a little, "Yes, I'm aware" she nods. "But whoever is tailing me now has seen you as well, so" she adds simply folding her arms over her chest. "Your move" she says simply. Sure, give Selina up as a bullet magnet. Shoot Catwoman, not her? Or...or..

Nah.

"Why would we go back on our deal?" Silver asks simply. "I understand the value of a good deal. You do what you need to, if you help me with the tail, I can make it worth your while" she offers.

It's not /technically/ bribery. It's falling neatly in her do what needs to be done to stay alive frame of mind right now. If Catwoman gets shot, that's an unfortunate outcome.

Bullseye has posed:
Jesus Christ, do these broads love to talk. The assassin rolls his eyes and scratches at his chin, gripping the kunai tightly. His was plan was simple -- show up, raise hell, leave. Maybe he was gonna say "Hey" to Catwoman? Maybe. Either way, he's been watching the pair from above on some scaffolding he accessed from a maintenance ladder on the side of the warehouse.

He can't hear much of the conversation, but he's definitely got his eyes locked on Sable. She'd been a particularly elusive target the past few days, not for any other reason than she's been at the embassy for most of it, but Bullseye was -- if nothing else -- a patient predator. He's ready to strike, but Catwoman's presence is getting more and more fascinating to him. After all, the kind of people who get hits put out on them don't typically meet up with agents of the Light. Curiosity was certainly going to kill someone, tonight.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman smiles, "Ooh, this is getting fun now, isn't it?" she grins wickedly, showing those white teeth of hers. No fangs though, but she still looks pretty predatory. She's not entirely sure *who* is trailing them, but she knows someone is out there watching them.

"Well, I suppose I could use a hand in loading these supplies, although I'm not too keen on making a mark out of myself.." she sighs, glancing towards the goods. She could easily just flee now, leave Sable to her own devices..

But if she gets caught too, she could get busted, or they might up security on this place, especially if sable spills. She sighs and nods. "Well, you drive a hard bargain.." For now, she narrows her eyes, adjusting her goggles to allow her to peer through the area, giving her a range of night vision, thermal, and even a bit of x-ray vision so she can try and pinpoint whoever has their eyes on Sable.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are!" she calls out, fingertips brushing the whip at her side, ready for anything.

Silver Sable has posed:
Whoever thought Silver was typical....obviously has no idea who they arre dealing with. Silver isn't typical, much. She's talking, it's working, she's buying time and...apparently, making deals with Catwoman? Okay, see, this all goes back to a deal or two, or three.

"Why would I give you a hand?" she asks succinctly, hands in her coat. She's brought guns tonight. She's brought guns to protect herself.

Watching Catwoman, Silver's behind on the gadget front.

So she's sitting back metaphorically speaking and...oh yeah, she's letting Cats draw out whoever it is. Then Silver will do her merc thing. In theory.

Bullseye has posed:
"Speak of the devil and he doth appear," Bullseye says to himself with a devious smirk. Good. This'll make it fun, then.

There's a loud clapping of hands from above the pair, and -- standing there, bathed in moonlight with his trademark psychotic grin -- is Bullseye. "Gotta hand it to you," he offers Catwoman with a nod, "We can certainly smell our own. Look, sweetheart -- I'll be frank, this is my job. So, you can cut the shit with whatever story you've given this silver slut and let me do my thing, or you and me can sidebar and we figure it out, ourselves. Either way? That bitch dies tonight. You understand?"

Silver Sable has posed:
Silver glances up and narrows her eyes. "Are you jealous?" she asks simply. Voice accented. It's...kind of a question, and a jab at him. "Are you jealous or, do you think I get around?" she asks coldly. No, shooting him would be too easy and too quick. "Why are you here, are you the hired help?" she adds. Keep talking. Keep talking.....keep talking, Silver.

Talking means digging into things, means intel. means....oh yeah, means finding out who put the hit out on her and who, yes, who is after her. Because whoever it is, and she's got a sneaking suspicion it's that prick up there, is dealing with Silver, her name goes far in mercenary circles after all.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman spots Bullsey before he talks, already ready for him..But this isn't her fight, and if she has to work with him under Lex..It would make things..Awkward.

"Who, little old me? Oh, dont mind me, Bullsey, I'm just here to collect something owed me..You go right ahead and do your thing, just mind your business and I'll mind mine.."

Dammit Cats, you're definitely gonna regret this later, but for now..Catwoman steps aside, and busies herself with loading some boxes for her ride outside..

Bullseye has posed:
"Jealous?!" Bullseye spits out with a scoff. "Of who? YOU? And ya little, corporate fuckin' merry men?! No goddamn way, lady. See, I'm a self-starter." He begins twirling the kunai in his hand in a rather complicated string of tricks for no other reason than pure showmanship. His heavy Bronx accent is clear as day as he points right at Sable, "And if you call yourself a merc and don't know who the fuck /I/ am, you need to get ya little echo chamber figured out, 'cause while you're out there playin' James Bond with all ya little toys? I'm magic." He slowly starts to descend a small set of stairs leading towards a lower scaffold. "The name's Bullseye. And in just a sec, you're about to find out why."

He peers over at Catwoman and gives her a small salute, "As for you, toots, you might wanna stand back. Wouldn't wanna get any blood on that sexy number you got there." He smirks again, and -- *WHOOSH* -- suddenly hurls the kunai down towards Sable's direction. For any regular human mark, this would be an instant killshot. For a badass like Sable? Guess we're about to find out.

Silver Sable has posed:
Silver dives for cover and out comee her twin pistols, as she's painting. With...yes...bullets, firing toward Bullseye while diving for cover and rolling behind a shelf. Given there's a box between her and Bullseye now, she isn't firing any more. Instead she's weighing up her options. Take him on, or get out of there and run and stack the deck in her favor. Call in the Wild Pack, or, or, something...something.

Or, just fight here, and see how things go.

Silver, behind the box, looks worried for a moment

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman sighs and nods to Bullsey, and does her best to stay out of trouble. Still, she does enjoy watching the show, but for now, it's best if she minds her own business. And while they are busy fighting each other, she very carefully grabs armfuls of boxes and passes in and out of the warehouse, loading them into the little trailer of her motorbike, parked in a discrete area behind the warehouse.

Too bad Spike isn't quite here yet, she could really use his help. She doesn't like how close those bullets are getting thought. "Work faster, Cats, in and out. It's simple.." she talks to herself as she tries to stay as far away out of their way as possible. Oh, she could come back another day, but dammit, she needs this stuff packed and sold off soon. Her little animal shelter is counting on her.

Bullseye has posed:
*OOF!*

At least two bullets fired off by Sable hit home, causing Bullseye to stagger back and nearly fall over the handrail behind him. His suit is surprisingly durable due to the well-placed ceramic plates and kevlar weave, but it doesn't mean the assassin's impervious to the impact of getting shot in the chest. He places a hand over one of the bullet holes and sneers. "And you just HAD to make things difficult, huh?" Gritting his teeth, he hops over the railing and jumps to a stack of boxes just below him. Sure, he's giving up the high ground, but Bullseye knows better than to disrespect her marksmanship, even if he couldn't give her reputation its due.

He tries to get his line of sight in order, having kept track of where she hid, and narrows his eyes. Scanning his surroundings, he spots a fastened light fixture about half the distance away from Silver and smiles wickedly, palming another throwing knife. He licks his teeth and throws it right at the fixture -- not to take it down -- but to ricochet the knife off it. Yeah. He's fancy like that.

Silver Sable has posed:
Silver sees little of this. Instead she's working her way, slowly, carefully, from box to box and preferring not to get shredded by flying knives thanks. She rolls behind another one, then vaults it and takes off running, 'accidentally' bringing down a shelf of boxes to slow up any pursuers. At least, that's the hope. If this warehouse is enough of a maze, she could well find a hiding spot here. And get the high ground, maybe, just maybe?
$
Given /who/ she is dealing with. That....may...not be adviseable at all. Far, far from it. So she's causing havoc on her way around, more to slow up and distract anyone after her.

Catwoman has posed:
Hmm..They're pretty good. It's a good thing she decided to stay out of this one. But it's also an *excellent* opportunity to study both of their fighting styles, just incase she becomes either of their marks one of these days. Which could easily happen, given her oft, shaky alliances.

Cats continues to go back and forth, loading her lovely loot onto her bike. She's nearing her limit soon though, and this rather noisy gunfight is bound to attract attention. It might be time to call it a night.

"What a pity.." she sighs, watching Silver Sable. "We would have made such good friends..But I can't risk having Bullsey turn on me..Not when we're both working for the light. Ah well, have fun, you two!" and she takes a moment to blow a kiss to them both before fleeing into the night..

To live another day. Hah!

Bullseye has posed:
Bullseye could certainly handle his own in close-quarters, but where's the fun in that? Instead, Bullseye is mirroring Silver's movements as best as he can, trying to keep an eye on her while keeping a safe distance. She's certainly a pro, definitely doing what she needs to do to make sure she stays alive tonight, but Bullseye's starting to lose patience. Anyone else, and this would have been a one-and-done, but aye, this is what the merc life is about.

"The more you run, the more you'll just die tired!" he shouts over the sound of all these crates and boxes falling. "So, don't make this any harder on yourself, lady!" He's lost her for the moment... but he's not gonna let her know that.

Silver Sable has posed:
Silver is quiet, not saying a word. Instead, well, she's lining herself up for her exit stage left. Or in this case, through a window. Mostly because exit via a window is quick and easy. The only issue is....that, well, that she needs a vehicle to get out of here. Either way, she's heading for the nearest exit and is running, silently. Here, have more boxes and crates and, and things.

The door...oh, the door's near her. Breaking out of it she's running hard to get away from the warehouse and her tail.

Bullseye has posed:
And with all the commotion, Bullseye doesn't hear Sable's exit. He stalks about the warehouse like a knife-wielding boogeyman, only to realize he's alone. No Catwoman, no Silver. He sneers, and kicks an empty cardboard box into the air in frustration. "FUCK!" he exclaims, and his gaze eventually settles on a side exit he didn't bother to take note of. Alas, his arrogance and knack for the theatrical get the best of him again.

"I found you once, and I'll find you, again," he grumbles. "And the next time? Bullseye."
