Synopsis:	In which Darcy is used as a human shield and is having none of it. Or Tonight's 084 is Scarlet

Lee Travis It was a warm afternoon in Lower Manhattan, It was a rather nice day with little to no chance for rain being forcasted in the weather. But this area in was not one of the nicer parts in Tribeca, there was alot of talk about drug operations and and a high amount of criminal activity compared to the rest of the Neighbourhood, but it would be safe to walk through it during the day with a lower chance of running into danger from the criminal element. But today was not one of those day's for in a seemingly run down building in the area there was sounds of gunshot's ringing out, in the inside there was a Man dressed in a Suit with a red overcoat and a fedora along with a mask to cover the eyes. Most would think that in this outfit he would be of little threat to the hardened gangster's inside the building but if you where one of them you would see that they where obviously panicking, earlier in the day there where expecting a delivery from Harlem but what greeted them was a sound of a gun going off and a green gas flooding into the first floor of the building, which incapacitated the majority of their people. The rest where one the run from the man in the suit. One of then pacing with a sawn off shotgun would say,"Where is...". But would be greeted a kick which would cause him to go flying out the third story window and onto the blacktop below infront of bystandard's below. With the last one noticing that the rest of the group was either wounded or incapacitated by the gas he would make a break for it with the Man in the Suit in hot prusit. He would jump out a window and in a panic grab the nearest person, a woman and say," Get the hell away from me or i will blow her fucking brains out". The Man in the suit would cock and eyebrow and pull a pistol out and say," You are adding more and more to your Punishment Ortiz, give it up or it will be much worse".

Darcy Lewis has posed:
Darcy was on the street, headed home after a rather long and uneventful day at work. She had to stay late because of paperwork, but able to clock it all as time and a half over time pay, Darcy's paycheck at the end of the month would thank her dedication.

The body hitting the pavement right at her feet was a surprise and it jerked her out of her reverie. She had jsut enough time to pull one of the earbuds from her ears before some random guy leapt out of the window and grabbed her.

"THe fuck?" is all Darcy gets out before she feels the barrel of a gun pressed against her temple. She goes stock still, eyes widening faintly. She considers her options as she looks at the Man in the Suit drawing his own gun.

She could likely get her tazer out, but tazing someone who is holding you ends up in getting tazer yourself. Plus, the convulsions would have the man pulling the trigger. Result: Dead Darcy. Options scrapped.

Dracy could SING: hit the gunman holding her in the solarplexes, instep, nose, and groin. The way she was being held made that a possibility. But second gunman might be just as back as first gunman? Hard to say just now. Bright red lips press together faintly and Darcy shifts in Panicked Man's grip as he adjusts her to be his Human SHIELD - heh - while her gaze settles on Suit Man in wordless question: Well?

No fear from Darcy, not fear that immobilizes a person that is. Darcy is focused on finding the best way out and has had training to move in tandem with a rescuer when it's warranted. Thing is, the mask makes reading Suit Man a challenging task at best.

Lee Travis (1118) has posed:
Lee Travis would have to take the next couple of steps very carefully, if he made a single misstep it could easily result in the death or maiming of the hostage. He would notice the position that Ortiz was holding the woman, slightly off and loose which should in practice make it easy to trip ortiz without having him take a shot, yet there was a risk that he would easily regain his footing and open fire on the hostage. But in a snap decision he decided that he would attempt it though it would require the attention and understanding of the woman. So he would say while using the hand that did not contain a gun to use his index and pinkey finger's to signale the woman to make a move," Ortiz, this is your last warning, let the woman go or i will have no choice but to open fire". Lee would then keep the gun leveled and hope that the woman would recive the message.

Darcy Lewis has posed:
Darcy waited a few more moments, btu when Suited Man stated that he was going to open fire, Darcy's patience was at an end. She drew a slow breath so as not to alert her attacker, and then she slammed her elbow into the man's soft midsection.

No sooner does the man grunt than she slams her heel down on his foot while pivoting to plant the heel of her hand into his nose. That motion turns into grabbing him around the back of the neck and in a motion much like the shorter woman was going to drag him down for a kiss, Darcy hauls him down so his groan gets a sharp introduction to her kneecap. One shove with the drag-you-down hand, the other grabs for the gun to pull the barrel the rest of the way away from her and maybe yank it out of his hand too.

"Warning's over. Fucker told you to let go, so fucking hands off ya piece of shit asshole," Darcy says now, bringing the man's gun down to him with what looks like practiced ease, provided she can get it from him. If not, there's always her own 9mm in her purse.

Lee Travis Would have slightly surprised look as he saw the woman beat the shit out of Ortiz and also to his surprise he saw that Ortiz was still standing abliet slightly. So taking advantage of Ortiz's sudden weakness and while the woman was screaming at Ortiz Lee would run towards Ortiz and in a sudden movement take strong punch toward Ortiz which would land squarely on his Left Cheek. As Ortiz fell to the ground Lee would walk up to him and say," Well then, this certainly turned against you very quickly, Did'nt Ortiz". He would then deliver a strong kick to Ortiz's face knocking out multiple teeth as he fell into unconciousness. He would then turn to the lady and say," Nice Job", he would say as he holstered his gun.

Darcy Lewis has posed:
Taking a step back from this Ortiz ass, Darcy pushes her glasses back up her nose slightly.

"I know. I'm a badass. What do you have on this asshat? Cause I'm calling in NYPD and pressing charges for this guy putting a gun to my head," she retorts harshly.

Lee Travis (1118) has posed:
Lee straighten's his jacket and looks at her and say's," I have been following this fat fuck from Gotham, He has been smuggling dope out of Gotham Harbor and has been shipping it across state lines.
He then said as he loaded his pistol with strange looking bullet's," So what is your name exactly, and how the hell did you learn to fight like that".

Darcy Lewis has posed:
"Smugger. Lovely. You got proof for NYPD of that?" Darcy shoots back, eyeing the bullets before quirking a brow at Suit Man.

"Agent Lewis, SHIELD," she states without drawing a badge to prove it. Because fuck cop shows.

Lee Travis (1118) has posed:
When asked for proof of the smuggling operation Lee would reach into his overcoat and throw on the street a kilo of coke,"Found it in the hell hole they call a drug den". He said staring at the building that he had driven ortiz out of.," So a shield agent eh, i suppose you are going to want to know who the hell i am". He then cocked his pistol and placed it inside his overcoat," People call Me the Scarlet Avenger, not the name i would of chose but what are you going to do".

Darcy Lewis has posed:
True to her word, Darcy's pulling her phone out to place that phone call. NYPD and SHIELD both. Not necessarily in that order.

"You fill the cops in on all that," she replies, brow quirking as he just goes ahead and introduces hismelf. Well, okay then.

Lee Travis (1118) has posed:
At the reference of the NYPD he quirked an eyebrow and said," Me and the NYPD do not have the best relationship, I would rather not get into details but i will say it involves a corrupt cop, a swat van, and a russian gangster. So me talking will be a no go"
At that moment one of the gangsters who fell victim for the gas would walk out of the building and pull out a pistol in a attempt to kill Lee. He would fire but narrowly miss him and his a stop sign instead leaving a indentation of where it hit, In response lee pulled out his pistol and fired to shots,both in the legs which disabled the man. He then said," Sorry the gas usually lasts 4 hours, guess the guy did not get enough in his system".

Darcy Lewis has posed:
"Right," Dracy says, before relaying her information into her phone to the police and SHIELD. SHIELD's information, however, is in code. Red 084, possible meta... Her phone is on silent, and she's using an ear piece, so taking pictures can be done while talking and if she can Darcy will attempt to sneak a pic of Lee himself. Maybe while he's dealing with New Gun Man with such ease.

"Whay kind of gas?"

Lee Travis (1118) has posed:
At the question of the type of gas he uses Lee would pull out one of the strange bulles he loaded earlier and said,"This bullet contains a power gas which causes unconsciousness, usually lasts about four hours and despite the bullets size it has a very good spread size". He then unloaded his pistol and loaded it with a new magazine," Nice job kicking that guys ass, know i said that before but that was fucking impressive".

Darcy Lewis has posed:
"I know it was," Darcy replies, slyly taking another pic of Lee Travis and that bullet. The sounds of sirens can be heard.

"How big a spread size, you think?"

Lee Travis (1118) has posed:
"I would rather keep that a surprise". Lee then heard the sound of police sirens coming his way," Hmm, here come the NYPD, late for the party as usual". He would then start to back away slowly and say to Darcy," Well then i guess it is time for me to depart, i do hope you can clear this up". He would then start to walk calmly towards an alley.
