Getting her things in order..

Synopsis:	Kara returns to the tower to collect some things before heading back to space.

Supergirl has posed:
It's been a long while since Kara has shown her face at the Titans tower, and while she's supposed to be the leader of this group, in her current unstable state she cannot afford to slip up and hurt someone or make a fatal move that might cost her a team mate.

So it is that she slips in late at night to grab some extra belongings that she left behind and maybe to check in with some of her friends before leaving for the Legion Cruiser once more.

Sentinel (Dallas) has posed:
Austin Dallas had been going for a midnight snack of all things when he saw her. He doesn't even have his ever present companion on his shoulder as Tina is tucked away in her own small bed. He almost doesn't say anything as he can tell she is trying to be quiet... but finally says in a low voice that he is certain her Super hearing can hear. "Hey Kara. Everything okay?"

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers arches a brow, spotting Austin even in her tired state and smiles faintly at him. "Austin, hey. How've you been? Sorry I haven't been around here much lately.." she shrugs and sighs, staring down at her duffel bag. "Been pretty tired lately and honestly a bit nervous. I'm sorry I haven't really been around much lately but I guess it's fir the best. I'm just too much of a liability to everyone here..So until I can figure out what's going on with me.." she shrugs.

Sentinel (Dallas) has posed:
Austin Dallas head tilts, and continues speaking in a whisper. One advantage to two people having super powered hearing, they can have really low volume conversations and not wake people up. He furrows his brow and says, "Well that's kind of selfish, isn't it? I mean that is what being a part of a team is all about. But when you are hurting and need help, you won't let us help you?"

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers frowns as she considers that. "Yes, I suppose it kinda is selfish, but..Look I nearly strangled Boomer and nearly drowned him too. And I dunno anymore if it's just me losing control or this..Virus, whatever. is in me. Sure, I could stick around here and continue to hurt the rest of my team mates..Or I can stay away in space where there is no one I can hurt. Trust me it's for the best."

Sentinel (Dallas) has posed:
Austin Dallas's eyes narrow, "I don't think any of us are doing this job because we want to be safe Kara." He whispers and takes a few steps closer. "We trust you. Do you trust us?" He asks. He smiles and puts his hand on her shoulder and considers. "Come on, I was about to go get something to eat. Why don't we go get some food and we can talk properly?"

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers hmms, "You know, you could be right..Maybe I haven't thought this through yet, but.." she shrugs and smiles, following him to the kitchen. "Food sounds good, hope I didn't wake you up though, I know how keen your senses are.."

Sentinel (Dallas) has posed:
Austin Dallas shakes his head, heading into the kitchen. "I skipped Dinner. My stomach decided that wasn't a great idea. It's pure coincidence, Scouts honor." He smiles a bit, holding up a trio of fingers in the classic "boyscout" salute. he grins a bit, going to the freezer and taking out a pizza crust and then goes to the fridge to get toppings.

Kara Danvers arches a brow and smiles as she watches, sinking into one of the kitchen chairs. "Wow, aren't you gonna get a stomach ate from eating so late?" still she chuckles, amusement glittering in her eyes. "You're really funny."

Sentinel (Dallas) has posed:
Austin Dallas shrugs a little bit, "Gotta fuel the machine, right?" he asks playfully, flexing his not unimpressive biceps, though he likely could not hope to bench what Kara could lift with just her pinky. he grins slightly and layers sauce, cheese, toppings, more cheese and more toppings then spreads more sauce on top before adding another layer of cheese. "So wanna catch me up? What happened?

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers shrugs, "Where do I even start..I think I mentionned in one of our latest meetings that I encountered some sort of..Giant purple and green armoured individual who seemed to have a counter attack to everything I could throw at him. Eventually, he..Or she..Or it if its a robot, injected me with some sort of kryptonite lined syringe, inserting some sort of micrometallic particles in my system..I've done exhaustive tests but they have yet to figure out how to get rid of them. They seem to be centered around my central nervous system and are capable of controlling my actions - involuntary muscle movements, but crude at best, unpredictable.."

She sighs tiredly as she sniffs the pizza. "Soo yeah, a while back I was swimming in the pool with Boomer, when one of those freaky muscle twitches got me, caused me to wrap my arms aroud his neck, nearly strangled him to death and pulled him underwater too. I'd rather not put my friends in that kind of danger again. But...Maybe I've already scared him away. Haven't heard from him in months..Meanwhile, Lar has been really sweet, offered me a place on his ship. At least i know I can't hurt him as easily.."

She smiles softly as she speaks of her ex, oddly enough.

Sentinel (Dallas) has posed:
Austin Dallas considers and then decides to do what he thinks is the right thing to do. He walks over, kneels down slightly so that he is eye level with the seated Supergirl and then he hugs her. She could easily pull away, because...yah know Kryptonian... but he hugs her tight and holds her close. Because honestly... she really seems to need a hug.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers is quite surprised by the hug. She doesn't know Austin that well although he seems like a nice guy. Still, it's good to get to know your team mates a little better, isn't it? Her gaze softens, wrapping her arms around him rather hesitantly, loosely.

"Hmm...Thanks for that. I feel a bit better, but really, no biggie. I mean, I'll bet Superman has to deal with this kinda crazy stuff and more all the time. It'll be fine, I'm sure, but, I should.." her arms tighten around him a bit more, almost uncontrollably before she grits her teeth, jerking away, actually jumping out of the chair and backing away to put space between them.

"Sorry, I...shouldn't have done that. I could have crushed you.." she frowns, staring down at her hands. Curse these superpowers..

Sentinel (Dallas) has posed:
Austin Dallas shakes his head, though relieved she /didn't/ crush him, he doesn't look that concerned for himself but more for her. "But you didn't. I'm fine honest..." He walks closer again and puts his hand on her shoulder. "And so are you. I trust you, okay?"

Kara Danvers stiffens at the touch. "Hmm, that's what Boomer said too, before he...Went wherever he went.." she shrugs. "I could crush you like a can, just like that, Austin." She snaps her fingers. "This is what I'm talking about, why I need to stay away from everyone...I'm just not sure what alternatives I have."
