Cast of Characters: Angel, Willow Rosenberg

Angel has posed:
This had been a whirlwind of a few weeks between work and trying to keep everything in order. Finally he'd been able to call Willow and invite her out for their date. Angel arrived early set up a blanket on the grass with candles, plates, a large pizza pie and a bottle of wine. His dark hair spiked up, black dress shirt unbuttoned halfway, black slacks, and a black leather jacket.
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow was surprised that he had remembered their date. In fact she almost thought he was joking. But NO! He'd bought a pizza pie, and asked her to come out underneath the moon and enjoy it. (Which was her answer to Angel.)

Thankfully spring was on its way, and for midnight it was actually fairly warm out. At least it was in the positives. In Celcius.

"I hope you remembered that I am a vegan!" Willow grinned. Half a pizza, just plain cheese was really easy to get. Some meat lovers actually preferred just cheese pizzas. "Did you know that the planet Venus can be seen by the naked eye right now?"
Angel has posed:
Angel smiles and nods opening the box and revealing that half would be plain cheese perhaps veggies if Willow was inclined to such on pizza, Angel's half meat galore though. "Of course I remember your dietary needs, I'm a Vampire not a monster." He winks pouring a glass of wine for each. "Unless you want me to be a monster."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Sitting on the blanket Willow grins, "You /are/ a monster. But a nice monster." A pause. "Is there such a thing as a good monster?" She shakes her head to clear it. "Anyways.. What made you decide to take me out on a date? I mean, someone like Buffy, or Faith, seem to be your type. Me? I reek of higher learning, and books, and spells."

She doesn't get it. But she reaches into the pizza box, and scoops up her first slice.
Angel has posed:
Angel smiles and leans closer inhaling Willow's scent. "I've been with Buffy, it didn't work out you know this. Faith well she has her things she's working through. You seem to forget I'm from an aristocratic family, higher learning is attractive to me. Spells and books, well again being educated is a wonderful thing, and as long as they aren't gypsy spells I can get passed it." He smiles softly. "But in truth why I asked you out is simple, you're beautiful, smart, funny, cute, and kind, caring and nurturing. All beautiful things, and all things that draw me to you."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow blinks. That's not the answer she had been expecting. It almost made.. sense?

"I wish I wasn't cute." She couldn't make an argument about the other things. "Most people look for beauty, not cute, you know. I've had a lot of time to think about it." Wait a minute..

"You said beautiful? Really?" Boggles. Maybe he was joking.
Angel has posed:
Angel smiles and leans closer kissing Willow softly if she allows such before speaking. "I look for a total package, looks, personality and intelligence." He chuckles softly. "Yes really I find you to be very beautiful, is that such a surprise?"
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Well.. yes." Of course his kiss was unexpected, and brought out a flush upon her cheeks. "I've been in this body for over twenty four years. And no one, except my parents, have called me beautiful. And half the time they only said it to be kind."

It's true, her parents were old school. More invested in her learning than her looks. When Willow wanted their praise it was always because of her good grades - not because she was pretty.

"I've gotten used to living in the shadows of people like Buffy, you know? It's just weird to hear those things talking about me. I want to look around and find who you really mean. Or worse, I half expect you to pull out a camera, and point at the joke you've just played on me."
Angel has posed:
Angel looks at her, his eyes locking with hers. "Well then people didn't understand what true beauty was. If they couldn't see it I'd say it's their loss and my gain." Angel takes a sip and plates a slice handing it to Willow. "Living in someone's shadow is never easy, but without you and what you do the rest of the Scoobies would be in trouble. You're the Brau
Angel has posed:
Angel says, "Brains, and magical brawn. The power behind the power, that gives them strength." He says stroking Willow's cheek softly. "Don't sell yourself short or doubt yourself.""
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"It's not so bad." Now. Before when Buffy had whatever was done to her, *that* was bad. To the point that Willow had contemplated going out west and saying goodbye to the Scoobies. "I mean some people are destined to be the one that everyone looks to. Sorta the main characters in the movies. And some folks are destined to be support staff. Like Sam was in the Lord of the Rings."
Angel has posed:
Angel shakes his head and scoots closer to Willow. "Doesn't matter what roll you see yourself in, I still see you for the strong, smart, powerful and beautiful woman you are." He says putting an arm around Willow's back as he gazes skyward
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
For a time Willow watches the stars too.

"Did you know, I've been out amongst the stars? Really. For my shift at the Watchtower, and also I went to another planet to save Superman." It's true!
Angel has posed:
Angel smiles and takes Willow's hand in his lifting it and placing a kiss to the back of it. "Wow and here I thought my PI business and such was cool. That's amazing, see I knew you were selling yourself short." He smiles softly. "In my 300 years I don't believe I've been out there."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"I never would have thought of doing it, expect our Watcher, Mr. Constantine was called to give some suggestions, and I was with him. Then needed two people to hold the door open, while everyone made it to Apocalips.. Sort of a wormhole. And I had the ability to do it. Later, Superman asked me to join the Justice League. So that was cool. I'm sorta on the Justice League Dark - which is a fancy way of saying I have special abilities that tend to be not needed everyday, but when they are useful, they /are/ useful. And I watch over earth in the Watchtower. Usually on the weekends."

Willow finished off her initial piece of pizza, and started on her second.

"What is it like living that long?"
Angel has posed:
Angel smiles and nods his head. "See lots of people see your potential and power." He laughs leaning back taking another sip of his wine. "Hmmm..." The other question gets him thinking for a bit before responding. "Equal parts Lonely, Depressing, Exciting, and well fantastic. You get to see a lot of things and changes, visit a lot of places, amass wealth, but your friends and family and even lovers, well unless they're vampires, age and die while you stay the same."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow looks over to Angel. "That must be sad. I can't talk to Spike about this type of thing. He just blows it off - unless it has to do with Buffy. You know, sometimes I wonder if he's really in love with her, or the *idea* of her. You know what I mean?"
Angel has posed:
Angel chuckles and nods his head thoughtfully. "Yea, Spike is...well he's spike." He says with a shrug. "You don't know with that guy, his motives are never clear."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"'I'm not sure." Willow gets a thoughtful look on her face. "He's got that chip. So a part of him keeps on trying to work around that. Plus he believes that he's in love with Buffy, so a secondary motive is to get her - whether by force or by proving himself. The question is can he be his old self, or will he be forced to come around."
