Let's have a Vacation already

Synopsis:	Scott and Jean finally get their vacation

Phoenix has posed:\<br\>There has been a lot of planning and a lot of replanning as things came up. Life at Xavier's us rarely quiet, but sooner or later they had to throw in the towel and take some time to themselves before they totally lost it. Thankfully Xavier was back from his vacation and happily took over the reigns of the school, freeing up Scott and Jean for their little break.\<br\>\<br\>They had eventually chosen a nice tropical little island near Hawaii, one that was lesser known and not visited often. But according to a friend of a friend, it was a beautiful spot.\<br\>\<br\>That required a transfer to a smaller plane to get there.\<br\>\<br\>But here they are at last! Jean smiles, stretching her arms after all that flying, stepping off the small plane and peering around at the blue sunny skies and go,den spanning beaches. "Isn't this beautiful? A small island all to ourselves." well almost. at any rate, it's sparsely populated.

Cyclops has posed:\<br\>Scott Summers chuckles Stepping off the small plane, Ruby quartz shades adjusted as he holds their bags. "Yes well I'd love to have a place like this all to ourselves for good some day." Scott laughs putting an arm around Jean.

Phoenix has posed:\<br\>Jean Grey smiles and leans in against him tiredly. "You know, it's hard to just leave all our cares behind, to not worry about things but I'm sure everything is in good hands now the Professor is back.." who knows how long he will be back, but at least it gives them some breathing space, "I mean, sometimes it's hard to separate work from home life."\<br\>\<br\>She glances down at her phone and smiles, "Alright, the little townhouse we rented is a little ways by foot, but I'm up for a lovely walk along the beach, how about you?" she peers at the bags and chuckles, "You know I'm more tha; happy to carry my share of bags."of course she could carry all of their luggage for two weeks but she doesn't like to show off her powers so openly..

Cyclops has posed:\<br\>Scott Summers smiles and nods his head. "Oh I know how capable you are Jean, and I appreciate it, but let me do this for us, just a normal man and woman on vacation." He teases as he starts to walk upon the beach.

Phoenix has posed:\<br\>Jean Grey chuckles and winks at him, "Well, if you insist on showing off, I don't plan to use my powers once this vacation.." she sighs, rubbing her temples, "At least my headaches seem less intense the more time I take away from the institute oddly enough.." she frowns at a thought but shakes her head smiling, taking his hand, "But I promised to leave our worries back home..Come on!" she laughs and skips, the gentle summer breeze fluttering her short flared floral sleeveless summer dress, her sandalled feet sinking softly into the warm golden sand as they walk along the beach towards the townhouse in the distance. A good 20 minute walk at least. But they're uh no hurry right..?

Cyclops has posed:\<br\>Scott Summers laughs and winks back. "Things are as they are love, its good the headaches are going away." He says moving further along the beach. "Leaving the worries at home is the best we can do for now Jean. I'm just happy to finally be here alone with you."

Phoenix has posed:\<br\>Jean Grey nods and smiles, giving his hand a squeeze, "Likewise! Looks like there's still a lot of light in the sky, maybe we can go for a swim, or go for a walk on the beach after dinner."she smiles and winks at him, "So many things to do here, all this land to ourselves...I just hope things are okay at home.." she frowns softly, still having trouble getting her mind off of things.

Cyclops has posed:\<br\>Scott Summers playfully smacks Jean in the back of her head. "Leave the worries at home Jean." He teases before winking back at her. "I understand your worries Jean but we are here to relax. A swim you sat, that eager to let me see you in a bikini?" Laughing Scott kisses her cheek.

Phoenix has posed:\<br\>Jean Grey smiles impishly, "Ooh, I have a surprise in store for you, but we should get home and unpack first..Think you can beat me?" there's a playful twinkle in her jade eyes as she suddenly claps his shoulder, "Tag! You're it!" and with that, she turns and runs towards the house, which is on a slight incline now.

Cyclops has posed:\<br\>Scott Summers laughs and takes off after her. Longer legs means longer strides which means he can generally catch up and surpass. "Oh a Surprise, and you don't get to drop that bomb and cheat by taking off at a run!" He calls back his voice filled with mirth.
