Blink has posed:
Blink makes her way into the Club. She's probably known enough that she can get in, in her tight little black dress and low heels. Purse hanging off of one shoulder. She lifts her sunglasses, winks at the bouncer, and slips on in.
Warpath has posed:
Mutant Town... an area only a few square blocks wide and long, but home of countless mutants who have migrated here to make a new life. They've created their own mutant related businesses, mutant related services, and mutant related products. Including this business which is a very mutant related night club. It's night, imagine that, and the club is filled with all the abnormal mutants who frequent the night life. So many have different appearances; far from normal. Mutations abound. There are a few 'normal' looking people, very few. One of the 'normalish' ones is standing nearto the bar. His 7'2" very muscular frame is partially leaning against the bar where he has a beer in a glass. His attention is on the bar proper. He's easily recognized as one of the X-Men, Warpath. An Apache who doesn't mess around. Which is part of his reputation. He's one of the X-Men that actually goes one step beyond 'stopping' the bad guy. It's rumored that he kills the enemies that disserve it.

Currently, 'Warpath', also known as James Proudstar, is wearing black cargo pants over combat boots and a black t-shirt stretched tightly over his torso. His long black hair is pulled back in a pony that hangs down his back. At the small of his back are two very large hunting knives, crossed and encased in leather. He watches the patrons of the bar. The dancers at the dance floor, the people sitting at tables, others at the bar, and the multi levels all draw his attention as bodies gyrate and writhe to the techno amidst the flashing lights and lasers.
Blink has posed:
Blink is nearly two full feet shorter than Warpath, as she takes the place in. This wasn't exactly a planned visit. She's here becuase she's exercising her powers to travel between places. In this case, getting from Genosha to Mutant Town.

She doesn't look normal herself, so she fits right in. Any attention attracted would be of a more pleasant nature. Fixing her hem, she comes on up to the bar. Eyeing James's knives as she approaches to get, well, let's get a coke for now. Would drinking and portaling even mix?
Warpath has posed:
It's impossible for Warpath to miss the magenta mutant. Spotting her, he smiles. He's known of her her. They were at the X-Mansion at different times, but he's read reports, see rosters, studied lots of mutants to ensure that he would be prepared for any encounter that he may have with said individuals - whether they be friend or foe - or foe, or foe... because put two heroes in the same room and they're gonna fight one another.

James says in a focused, elevated voice that she may hear his greeting over the music, "Blink. Clarice. Good to see you. I'm James.". There's a light smile to his face, one where he shows that he's pleased to encounter her.
Blink has posed:
Blink leans forward a bit. Hip out as she accepts her coke, and takes a slow sip of it. Then seeing that James has noticed her, her first instinct is to lok away, which she does briefly. But then she catches herself, laughs and nods up to him. "James, hi." The idea that she's be recognizable doesn't really surprise her in the last, so she smiles. "I should keep hydrated if I'm going to practice longer distance portals."
Warpath has posed:
"Longer distance portals?" he queries, "Hang on, you just ported in from Genosha? I heard you've been staying down there. That's one heck of a distance... what, 14, 16 thousand miles?" He shifts a bit to address her more directly instead of turning his neck and looking down upon her. Though his other senses remain acute for what ever prey he may be stalking.
Blink has posed:
Blink nods. "It is a long way. It'd be really hard if I hadn't been to both places often. I live there, and I visit here frequently. I need to become more confident."

She then takes another slow sip, lifting the glass as she turns as well, leaning and looking up to the huge guy.
Warpath has posed:
James nods, accepting her answer and says, "Impressive. Kurt could barely do 3 miles at a time. While Illy could go global and interdimensional. Your power's pretty amazing." He glances beyond her and his eyes narrow as he scrutinizes whatever he saw. Then they return to her own. "Have you ever considered coming back to the mansion? We could always use a fighter like you."
Blink has posed:
Blink takes a breath, and a sip. A little uncomfortable with the compliment, she does her best to maintain her composure. Her throat moving as she takes a longer drink, and then a sigh. "I hope it will be useful. Genosha will never be left alone. There will always be the next round of prejudice. And... it depends. Magneto saved me. Cooperating with his needs will always come first for mem."
Warpath has posed:
James nods in agreement, "I completely understand. Loyalty to brothers and sisters in arms, especially those who make sacrifice for you - that's what's important. Magneto's plight is an honorable one." James doesn't go into too much regarding defining that plight, nor Magneto's tactics. James' tactics are not much different. While no one will ever catch up with the red on Magneto's ledger, James has a bit of the red ink as well.

"If you ever find yourself in need, you're always welcome at the mansion. You have always been an ally with an amazing spirit and fighting style."
Blink has posed:
Blink finishes her coke, going into her purse to give some cash to cover it, and puts it down with the now-empty glass. "What a diplomatic way to put that about Magneto. And thank you. I'm sure, again, eventually, there will be a reason we decide to agree on goals and tactics. So you here on business, with those... weapons?"
Warpath has posed:
"I've been looking for a mutant of interest. He has an associate that frequents this club. I was hoping that the associate and I could have words." James notes as he glances through the club again. Then back to her. He doesn't really go into details. Instead, he turns, grabs his own glass and downs it. Then states, "Which.. it's gotten late enough that I don't expect the guy to show. So, I'm gonna get out of here."
Blink has posed:
Blink squints. "Renegade doing harm to us all?" She asks softly, stepping a little closer to make it harder to overhear. Simple question, but obviously taking it seriously.
Warpath has posed:
James glances to the side exit of the club that will lead into an alleyway. He says, "If you're interested, let's talk." and he motion toward the door, turn and start walking as if to lead her out of the club - if she is so inclined to follow.
Blink has posed:
Blink will nod, and follow. Adjusting her dress again, shifting her purse on her shoulder, takinga nother look around at the thankfully fun and casual partying going on around in the club. That's how it should be! And if she weren't working she might join!
Warpath has posed:
Exiting the side doorway, the two of them find themselves on a short stair landing of concrete with metal railings that descend to the right into the dark dead end alleyway just outside. To their left is a series of dumpsters and beyond them, the street. To the right, the alleyway dead ends 20 yards deeper. There are other businesses and a fire escape that exit into the narrow (10' wide) corridor. There are no other people and the night sky, albeit overcast, can be seen just outside the 4 floors of elevation on either side. When the door is closed, James moves down the stairs into the alley and seems to blend into the darkness. He moves to the other side and puts his back to the wall. He intones softly, "I'm seeking the Tattooed Man. He can lead me to Scalphunter. I've been on Scalphunter's trail for a few weeks now. My first indication that Scalphunter was up to something was when I caught his scent in the north woods on the estate grounds. It didn't track very far. But I was able to pick up that he was surveying the mansion. How he got past the defenses... well, he's Scalphunter and very good at what he does."
Blink has posed:
Blink comes on out into the alleyway, just following along. She blinks as the lighting changes from inside, to outside, and goes to lean on a wal, looking up to James. She fidgets with her purse, and nods. "So you think Scalphunter is casing you and your friends. I see. Well, i will let you know if i hear anything about him."
Warpath has posed:
"I'm not sure of his motivations. I just know that he's not welcome and I need to handle him before he decided to encroach further. Anyway... I'll reach out if I learn anything that you can help with. Still, feel free to come visit. I know many of your old friends would love to see you again."
Blink has posed:
Blink laughs at that, a little surprised. "Well i'm glad to have friends. Sometimse politics get in the way of friends. It's nice when it doesn't."
Warpath has posed:
"Politics change. True friends don't." And with that, he'll push off the wall and start heading toward the back of the alley. With the intention of leaping out and leaving Blink to her own devices.
