Just One of Those Nights...

Location:	Orchestra, Monarch Theatre
Synopsis:	Nikki gets almost got by some Gotham Goons, and it's Red Robin to save the day again.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Gotham is a bit like New York, only some places are likely a bit more shadowy than the other. Bit more gloom and doom feel to the area, but that doesn't ever seem to stop Nikki. Since she doesn't drive, she normally catches whatever bus or train takes her between work and home - or work and Tim's - or home and Tim's...wherever she's gotta go to and from. And sometimes, that also involves a little bit of walking.

Which brings up this particular night. Nikki's between bus stops and having to walk to get to the next one, currently doing a casual stroll down a Gotham street. She's not alone though, having been followed by a couple of punks who have deemed her their next best target, and while they're still half a block behind her - they're coming up on her pretty fast.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake is out doing his patrols tonight. He has to keep those up or else the boss might get upset. Plus it is the right thing to do, and just maybe he might enjoy them as well, but don't tell anyone. So tonight, he is going along the rooftops and stopping every so often to scan the area. He seems the punks following someone. He has not seen who yet, but he knows that body language, and he heads along rooftops to be able to either cut them off or at least get to them as they get to their target.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Right then and there, Nikki's phone rings, which causes her to pause a moment to pull out her phone and see who's calling. She tilts her head, but apparently doesn't feel like talking or doesn't know who is on the line because she declines the call.

The two punks have closed in on her, not knowing they're being tailed by someone on the rooftops. One of them scoffs, sniffs, and then chuckles. "What's a pretty little thing doin' out here alone? You need help gettin' somewheres?" Gruff voice, but it gains Nikki's attention enough.

"Nikki's just on her way home! She's tryin' to get to the bus station up on the corner!"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will come up to a stop above the situation. He sees who it is they have been stalking and while he wants to dive off the roof then and there, his training has taught him better. He does pulls a few Robin-A-Rangs from his belt, and lines them up ready to throw. He makes sure he has a clean shot between the goons and Nikki, and readies his arm, giving the guys the chance to not be goons.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Aw that bus ain't gonna come 'round for another half an hour or so... We can shows ya one that's not too far away but will come a little quicker." Says the one who's been talking this whole time, stepping a little closer to Nikki.

The woman shakes her head a little. "Nikki's fine with waiting. She does it all the time. And Nikki knows this bus. She doesn't know the other bus. Or you. Nikki doesn't like going anywehre with strangers..."

The other goon comes up from the side. "Oh. And ah... what if Nikki didn't really have a choice in the matter? Cause if we says come wit' us... we means it..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake shakes his head a bit and he expected it but had hopped, the first thow goes tot he one the nearest to Nikki. and as it his with a nicely felt weight there is a bit more of a surprise as the taser charge releases into it, And then he is jumping down his cap flapping in the wind, a sound those on the wrong side of the law in Gotham know and are not happy to hear. There maybe a small relief from the goon when he sees it is Red Robin and not the Batman, but the staff twirling and stopping just inches from the man's face may make him wonder if it is a good thing or not. "And if she has all the choice she wants?" He asks the thug.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
The goon hit with the tazer charge sort of bucks back and falls on his ass. Cause no one really can withstand any sort of voltage through the system.

Nikki blinks, opens her mouth to say something, and then blinks again. Last time she saw Red Robin she didn't remember him having a staff of any sort.

The other goon, staring down the staff and seeing his buddy go down just shakes his head and backs up slowly. "I know when I'm beat... we'll let her alone..." As he scrambles to help his buddy back on his feet and they hobble-run-scramble away. Provided Red Robin lets them get too far.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will let them go, sometimes it is best to let it known that the Bats are in a specific part of the city, and Tim will run their IDs and keep an eye on them for the next day or two. He turns to look to Nikki, and in his Red Robin voice (good thing Bruce stressed practicing that huh?) "Your ok miss, I don't expect they will bother you again."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki beams a smile in his direction. "Thanks Red Robin. Nikki's glad he came along..." She says this and then tilts her head, squinting her eyes at him a moment. "Though, Nikki told a little fib, cause she's not heading to her home. She was going to go surprise her boy--...her..." She pauses and then flushes a little. "Her friend that's a man. After work. He'll be thankful you saved her too..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake 's brow raises a bit to this and says "Oh, well those guys do not need to know where your heading, but walking through this part of town is not the safest. Your man friend will probably have wanted you to call you, so he could have picked you up or something."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki frowns a little. "He's probabaly right. Maybe Nikki should call him...It'd be a surprise either way." She giggles then. "She had thought to go home after work but home is further away than his place is..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmmms and nods his head a bit to this and says "Well, I can help you get to a place where you will be safe to wait on him." He offers and will bring up his wrist computer and will a few typing has brought up a holo map of the area. Also hidden in that typing was a remote command for his car to start heading to them stopping about a mile out with a change of clothes in his trunk.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki nods her head and smiles. "Nikki would appreciate that..." And once Robin moves to lead, she will follow. Course during that time she's not calling Tim, but she is sending him a text message. <Hey. It's Nikki. She got into some trouble on her way to Tim. Can he come pick her up?> and then sends her location to his phone as well.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake gets this message but luckily it does not beep on his phone. It shows up in his heads up and with eye movements he sends her a message "Will be there soon, stay safe."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Okay. He's on his way. Nikki thinks she'll be okay here if Robin needs to go find others to save. He's really good at his job!" Nikki offers this with a smile and then looks back to her phone a moment. Likely about to be absorbed in some sort of phone game while waiting.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will wait for a bit longer making sure they are in a safe spot before he nods and heads off to save other people. Aka find a spot to meet his car and change. A few minutes later Tim is pulling up outside the spot.
