Walking in Gotham

Synopsis:	Tim and Nikki make plans for war :)

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake came to pick up Nikki, his costume and gear now in the hidden compartment in the trunk of his car. He asked her if she wanted to grab any food on the way in, but his first questions were if she was ok, what was she doing out on foot in Gotham after dusk. He seemed worried, and while he knows most of the answers the concern is real.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
There's focus here where there hasn't been focus before, and so when Nikki talks it's not her usual style. "I got focused in the lab and worked a little later than I thought." She offers. "So I decided that surprising you would be nice, and was making my way to your place. I should have called. But sometimes I don't think about stuff like that." Things she's not used to doing and all. "As for food, Nikki could eat..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods a bit and will find a place that they can get drive through that has a selection. That cheesy batman place will work. He reaches over to take her hand and says "Well I appreciate you coming hon, but next time take a cab, I can cover it."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki flushes a bit red and looks at their hands once he's taken hers and she gives it a squeeze. "Okay. Nikki won't even argue. She'll take a cab from now on..." To his place anyway. She might still take the bus home cause she didn't promise to take a cab back to her place all the way in New York. Food is ordered and then likely part of the car ride back is quiet. "Nikki wishes she could find a way to pay back Red Robin. That's twice he's saved her now."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and says "I think thats sorta what they do, I mean I have never met him, but Red Hood, has rescued me from a kidnapping a couple of times." He tells her. "I think they want us to try to be safe and do good."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki blinks. "Tim's been kidnapped before?" Asking this before squeezing his hand again. "She's glad someone was able to save him... Nikki's not sure what she would do if Tim went missing." A sheepish smile then as she looks out the window for a moment. "She's...grown fond of being around him."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake smiles and says "Yea one of the things about being a public figure and such. The guys who did it were not very smart, but I went along so others would not be hurt while they tried taking me. I might have been able to take them from my self defense classes

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki nods and then is likely silent the rest of the way to his house. Once there and out of the car with at least her drink in hand, she smiles and waits for Tim to let them in. "It's not...weird...that we're seeing each other outside of work is it?" She suddenly comments. "Nikki has a friend who thinks it might be...bad...for some reason."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and says "NA, it aint a bad thing, and you work as an independent contractor so, it is not like you have to worry about me trying to exploit my position over you." He does carry the food in and lets them in "Your friend is just worried about you."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"He's a nice guy. He and Nikki keep running into each other at a diner back in New York. He's also friends with another person Nikki knows." Not that Nikki will be naming names there right now. She steps into the home and takes a sip from her drink. "Thanks again for coming and getting Nikki...she appreciates it."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake offers her a hug and says "I am glad your ok." He smiles and leads her to the couch to have a seat. "Folks care about you cause your a good person."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki returns that hug and smiles at him before moving towards the couch at his lead. She sits, placing her drink on a coaster on the table and turns to face him a bit more. "Tim's a good person too. Nikki thinks people care about Tim also...tho she likes to think she cares about him a bit more."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake grins and nods his head a bit to this and says "Well, I know a few folks who might think they have the caring a bit more, but those are folks I have known for sometime and are either family or those I consider family. I care about you too Nikki,"

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki sort of giggles at that. "Well family aside... cause no one loves like family does whether it's blood or chosen." Not that Nikki talks about her family much - chosen or otherwise. She scoots over a bit to be closer to him, leaning to rest her head on his shoulder.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake puts his arm around her, and rubs her far arm softly "So, what would you like to do tonight?"

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki smiles and seems to think for a moment. "She's not sure. She's liking enjoying Tim's company..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods his head a bit to this and says "Well, we have all the time, we want." He hmmms and picks up a remote and clicks it open a big hidden screen in the wall, and a couple clicks later robot wars is starting.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki's eyes go a little wide and she squees quietly. "Oh oh oh! Is this a new episode? Nikki hasn't been able to catch the latest episodes...she loves Bot-B-Gone." She settles a bit more against Tim as they watch the show.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and says "We will have to go check out and see them in person sometime." He offers as a suggestion for them to do.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki blinks and sits up a bit. "Really? He'd want to go see them live with Nikki?" Asking this with genuine surprise in her voice. "Most of Nikki's friends think robot wars is weird. But Nikki sometimes thinks about building a robot herself. For battling."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and says "Yea, heck if you want to we can even work on building one ourselves, but I would suggest against making it an AI would feel bad if it got hurt.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"No. It wouldn't have AI, Nikki actually thinks that's against the rules... but it can have like...weapons and stuff..." Nikki beams a smile here and leans up to kiss him on the cheek. "Nikki would love to build a battle bot with Tim!"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and says "Then it is a plan, we can work up some basic ideas, and hit one another up with them, and see what we agree on and then work on that one. Or we could both work on one and fight them and then work together to make the winner even better."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki nods. "That sounds like a plan. Building our own and battling them together. Nikki would be interested to see what Tim can come up with on his own." She smiles and then looks to the television. "A hobby for us together. She likes this."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods a bit and says "Sounds like a plan, I have a few ideas, just have to make sure I go with original, there have been a few I have seen I liked but wanted to change just a bit.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"This is going to be really fun. And who knows, we might end up on robot wars!" Nikki says this and then shifts to grab her drink to take a few sips. "Anything else on Tim's mind?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmms and says "Just that I think we will have fun and I have fun hanging out with you." He offers her a smile.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki smiles back before shifting to cuddle up with him again to continue watching the show. Not really much else on her mind except, like him, enjoying the time together. She might even doze off on his shoulder after a little while.
