Synopsis: Logan let's a few more things off his chest. Rogue is there to listen and (hopefully) difuse the situation.
Cast of Characters: Wolverine, Rogue

Wolverine has posed:
Logan goes through the kitchen and tries to take the path few are on. He's trying not to disturb anyone, but rage is bubbling beneath the surface. Cowboy boots echo down the hall, "Cathunk, Cathunk, Cathunk!" in quick steps.

His bedroom door flings open, and he tries not to slam it, but utterly fails. Logan just walks to his little fridge and flings open the door. Taking out a beer bottle he doesn't bother popping off the cap. A "SHNKT!" cuts through the silence. A brief scraping sound fills the room as metal fight glass and glass quickly loses the brief encounter. Another "SHNKT!" fills the air as the claw retracts and the beer bottle meets his lips. The cut is clean, so it won't cut when presses against lips. It's just faster to open it this way sometimes.

Plus, it feels really good to just cut something right now. Even if it's an innocent beer bottle.

Logan just starts to practically inhale the liquid. It doesn't last long. And he'll start to reach for the second.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue comes out of the bedroom, towel wrapped around her head like a turban to hold her hair up and keep it dripping from the floor. She's at least in boy shorts and a tank top when she comes into the bedroom proper. "Woah there, cowboy, slow your pacing for a moment.." Comes her southern voice thick enough to cut butter.

The lights are off cause she had plenty of light in the bathroom which now spills into the bedroom and makes her a sillouhette against Logan's shadowed form. "Grab a bottle, twist the top off and come sit down... tell me what's bothering you. And don't tell me it's nothin' cause not for anything but you usually don't storm in here, slammin' doors and breakin' bottles over nothin'..."
Wolverine has posed:
Logan doesn't even turn his head when Rogue comes out of the bathroom. His attention is focused on the beer. Then she starts to speak.

Logan mutters and growls, but he pulls out two bottles. One is handed to her as he passes by then sits on the bed.

He'll pop the top off of this with with his thumb, but it's begrudgingly.

"What do ya know 'bout Odin? Stories 'bout the old God? Not his son, that's real, but whatever is published 'bout Odin. 'Cause I'm startin' to think we got our own," but irony is lost on Logan. Deep down he knows, it could be him, too.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue raises a brow and then takes a breath to keep herself calm. He's growling because he's upset over all. Not at her. So she'll let it slide.

Taking the bottle as it's handed to her, she'll pop the top and takes a swig while turning to face him. But she's not going to sit yet.

"Odin? Father of Thor, step-father to Loki, uhm...rules over Asgard..god of war and death..." She shrugs. "I didn't really study much but that's what I remember...and what do you mean we got our own?"
Wolverine has posed:
"Accordin' to Poetic Edda. Kinda like the bible fer Odin's pantheon, Odin had a vision. From the moment he saw the vision he tried to do everythn' he could to prevent it. Sad thing is, by the time the end came, Odin saw hs actions -caused- the end times. Every single one of em' pushed the world closer to destruction," Logan explains letting Rogue see that sometimes he can be scholarly. Sometimes.

"Psylocke's becomin' our own Odin. She had a vision of a bad future n' now she's doin' everything she can to prevent it," Logan says honestly on it. Then he sighs, "She's startin' a team. N' the team's gonna cross lines. It's gonna seek questionable help n' I don't think it's gonna prevent the future anymore. Not sure if I did," Logan admits. Honestly, he wanted to cross some lines then prevent peopel from crossing hte rest.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue takes another swig of the beer before shifting to set it down somewhere so she can remove the towel from her hair. "So there's no way to know if she's startin' the beginning of the end, or actually ending something that she saw in a vision.." She offers this much before picking her beer back up.

"Crossing lines. You've said that before. About a particular person that you and I are acquainted with. My educated guess is going to say she's talked to this person to and that's also upset you." Moving, then, to sit beside Logan wherever he decided to sit himself. "No way of talking her out of it now?"
Wolverine has posed:
"More than that. What's the difference between Punisher n' Captain Rogers. Two soldiers, different wars. Different methods. Same people are gonna say the same thin' wit' X-Men n' X-Force," he looks at Rogue. "Wanna guess which group is Punisher?" Logan asks her, letting Rogue chew on this analogy, too. To Logan it's more than -just- talking to Sinister. It's crossing a line like that then working with people that shouldn't be trusted. To Logan, it's recklessness. The same kind of recklessness that brought Ragnorok to life.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue stews on it for a moment and then gives a soft sigh. "I dunno what to tell you. Cause it's going to bug you now...and there's not going to be a way to stop it from such. I would say you could go confront Sinister, but I know you don't want to do that. There's three sides to every argument, story, conflict...what name you. You just gotta be sure you're on the right side when the time comes." This and then she drinks more of the beer. "To me, there's no point in fretting over it. The path is already started...and unless you're Doctor Strange and can see the multiple ways it could go..."
Wolverine has posed:
"Maybe that's what I should do," Logan half jokes. Then he sighs, "We've both done questionable things in our past, right? Psylocke might drag a few of our friends down similar paths to get these results. Would ya want that?" he asks. And that's what bothers him the most. There's the chance of pulling some people down into the muck with them. Ocean blue eyes looking toward Rogue for a moment.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue shrugs. "I might sound like a very calloused asshole here...but our friends are adults. It's on them to choose which path they wanna follow. We can try to show them reason but in the long run..." She shakes her head. "And it's very likely most won't go along with it if they find out who all is involved. I trust that. Don't you?"
Wolverine has posed:
"I don't think Betsy is gonna tell em' the whole picture," Logan says. He just doesn't think Betsy would be 100 percent transparent with everythiing. That's the part that worries him. Ocean blue eyes look at Rogue. That kind of strips away the choice from their friends.
Rogue has posed:
"You really are stubborn you know that. Which is fine in some regard, but you can't control everything that happens, Logan. None of us can. If we could, the entire world would be an incredibly different place. You're just gonna have to see what happens...and maybe be the voice of reason if it comes down to it." Rogue says this much and then finishes the beer.
Wolverine has posed:
Logan wants to say more about that, but she -does- have him dead to rights. "'Cause I've lost the freedom to make some choices. Don't want others to have those optins stolen from em'. Even fer the dark choices," he admits. That's one of the reasosn why he's stubbon. It's not quite a defeat, not quite an admittance. Something between the two.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue reaches over to rub a hand against his back. "Look. One thing you can rest assured on, is whatever path you choose, I'm with you. If you need me to help with anything, you let me know... just don't sit there and feel powerless...there's no point in that. But we ride this path together, yeah?"
Wolverine has posed:
"Yeah," Logan nods and at her for a moment. "Yer stuck wit' me til ya don't wanna be. Just need to think," Rogue did diffuse the situation. However, she doesn't quite flip him on his head. She does give him something to think about. And so, Logan just sits there and nurses the second beer, slowly. Both eyes close as he breathes slowly in and out.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue kisses his cheek and goes to toss her beer bottle in the room's trashcan. She also cleans up the broken glass from the first beer he helped himself to. She might cut herself a couple times doing so, and she might not say anything about it. Even if he'll be able to smell the blood seeping from her fingers as she finishes cleaning.
Wolverine has posed:
Logan will go to the bathroom then come to get the first aid kit. Then he starts to ready some gaus, bandaids and anything else. "Finger," he says sosftly and then starts to ready thngs to clean the cut. "It might sting," he warns before doing anything. Because it will sting.
Rogue has posed:
"It's just a small cut, Logan...it'll heal." Rogue offers, even while holding out her cut finger. Though, at least this has distracted him - even for a moment. So she'll be a good little patient and let him bandage her finger.
Wolverine has posed:
Logan will start to clean out the finger, then bandage it up. "Sorry," Logan mutters knowing he didn't like to be angry, especially around Rogue. Ocean blue eyes look at her and he ndos. He hopes that she knows he's sorry about a few things. Not just about the cut.
Rogue has posed:
"Water under the bridge, love. It's fine." Rogue offers as a general blanket. She knows he's sorry for a few things, but he should know she's not going to call them out either now that they're said and done. Her free hand shifts to cup his cheek as their gazes meet. "I love you."
