Cast of Characters: Rogue, Wolverine

Rogue has posed:
Sometimes things get overlooked. Other times things get forgotten. After a few texts and unanswered calls, a trip to the cabin to find it empty, Rogue has been on the fence of thinking that Logan was just having a moment of not wanting to be found...or something had gone seriously wrong. A few other spots that she knew of were checked, and when she still came up short, she began looking in not-so-normal spots. Places she maybe would think he'd go to when he was having a moment of needing to be alone.

The door to the Sailor Pub opens and Rogue walks right up to the bar while giving a quick glance around. When the bartender asks for her drink order she smiles. "I'll have a long island iced tea... and some information. I'll make it worth your while..." She slides over a couple bills and then grins. "Lookin' for a man. Yay tall, scruffy lookin'...likely has a cigar in the corner of his mouth and tends to call most people 'bub.' You seen anyone like that in here lately?"
Wolverine has posed:
The tender eyes Rogue when she comes in. Their gaze just watch her until she makes it to the ben. Then they become all smiles and pleasantries. Flash a big smile, ask the order with sweetness, etc.

Then the cash come out. They look over the bills. A second later the bills get taken.

"Nothing I saw first hand, but something I heard. Big guy came in three nights ago? Maybe more. He bounces for a night club. Talked about a 'sucker punching hick that dresses like the brawny guy.' Big guy had one hell of a shiner," the tender continues. All he remember is 'Dark sideburns and feeling like it was punching concrete.' A few seconds later the guy gets knocked out. What his fellow coworkers tell the guy that shortstack knocked out one or two more. Asked to speak to a club regular that has a Japanese name. The regular's apparently rich, so rich, the owner treats her like royalty. The two talk for ten minute, shortstack lives. Evens steps over the knocked out people like they're nothing except for one. Apparently he drove a boot heel down into their gut while stepping over the guy. Shortstack hasn't been seen at that club snce," and the tender starts to work at the Long Island ice tea.

The drink gets slid across the bar to Rogue. "Mind get's foggy after that," they say and give Rogue a smile. It's something to work with. Question is: Would more money get her somewhere?
Rogue has posed:
Rogue raises a brow while listening to what the bartender tells her. It sort of sounds like Logan, but also not really. She taps fingers against the bar top while he makes her that long island and then mentions that his mind gets kinda foggy after that. This has her giving a smirk.

"Alright hot shot. I've got $500 with your name on it if you can somehow give you memory a jump start and provide me more detail. I'll even give you a bit more. He rides a motorcycle, loud mother fucker - the bike I mean. He also tends to wear a dark leather jacket, full of holes like it's been well worn over the years. That joggle anything out of the cobwebs?" She even pulls the other 5 bills from her wallet, waving them in the air where the barkeep can see.

Desperate times and all that.
Wolverine has posed:
The tender's brow go up, "Does your guy drive a bike that barely passes noise regulations?" they ask Rogue and wait for the obviou answer. The hand does go out for the cash, as if that statement passes some kind of test.
Rogue has posed:
"I told you it's a loud motherfucker. So safe to say...yes...I'm pretty sure he drives an Indian. Dark blue." Rogue says this and then rolls her eyes, handing over the cash. It's a lot to lose if this barkeep is only fucking with her. But she's the kind to put her faith into something quick - if he tries to fuck her over - he'll learn very quickly that's not the smartest move in the book.
Wolverine has posed:
And the tender continues, "I mean roars. Like calls out three to five miles away before showing up. The guy you're after, is about," and the tender actually holds their hand up at a different spot. "Dark hair. Blue eyes like the sky or something. Talked about a daughter and spoke with a red head about school. Just here last night," they continue as more details come about. "They were here for a good half hour, hour," and the guy haad a specfc request, "Anything not domestic. Like he preferred non-amercan beer." The tender looks to see if that's good enough for Rogue.
Rogue has posed:
"Yeah. Soft spot if it's imported from Canada..." Rogue offers and then drops the extra 500 into the barkeep's hand. "Last night eh? Fuck." She takes a sip of her long island and seems to consider a thought or two. "Did he happen to mention a woman named Rogue when he was talking to this other lady?" Everything was adding up. So it seems like she just missed Logan, but maybe that means she can back track to his cabin and find him. Or hell. Back to the school itself. "And did he maybe mention anything about where he was heading after leaving here last night?"
Wolverine has posed:
"He didn't. The redhead did. She asked 'How are you and Rogue?' Then he was sad. Said something like, 'Two ships in the night' and 'Hating it.' I couldn't make out the rest," then Rogue gets a look. "And you're Rogue?" they ask curious why this person would drop so much. Then thinkng on it, they slide back half of what Rogue gave. "I can keep my eyes peeled if I see him," they offer as a consolation prize.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue takes back the bills given in return and then slides one more back his way. "For the drink, and a tip." She offers this much and gives a nod. "And yeah. I'm Rogue..." Admitting this as she glances around the place before drinking a bit more of her long island. "If you do see him come back in...tell him that I came looking. And that I'll be back at the cabin. He'll know where to go to find me." She smiles, downs the rest of her drink and then slides off the stool to begin heading towards the exit. Just another ship drifting back out to sea.
