Synopsis:	At least for Nikki, Tim doesn't mind what the paparazzi spreads in the tabloids...

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
With a coffee and newspaper stand on just about every corner in New York City, the tabloids were bound to catch her eye at one point in time or another. The fact that not only did they catch her eye, but then drew her attention speaks volumes. So when she purchased one to read the article that caught her attention, it's a quick summons for a taxi to get her into Gotham quicker than any bus or train could. She gets dropped off at Tim's place and quickly makes to the front door, walking in because she can and moving through the rooms quickly until she finds.. "Tim? Are you home?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake is in the kitchen making a sandwich. He may have put something into a hidden drawer when he was alerted she was coming. Now he has bread out and is getting meats, veggies and other fixing from the fridge.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki reaches the kitchen only to stop in the doorway and hides the tabloid paper behind her back. "Hi. Morning. Hi...uhm..." She tucks a strand of hair behind an ear and then finally takes a step or two inside. "A sandwich for breakfast?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake smiles and says "Well, I was hungry and did not feel like breakfast food, plus if folks can have breakfast for dinner, why not?" He will set the stuff down and come over to kiss her "How are you?"

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Oh. Uhm..." Nikki shifts her hands, which makes the paper behind her rustle a bit, but then she laughs. Nervously. "You know, that makes a whole lotta sense... course Nikki more thinks a sammich is lunch and not dinner, but if people can switch one meal for the other, why not swap them all around. Complete chaos. In the kitchen. And no where else. Because Nikki said so." Then she clears her throat. "Hmm? Oh. Nikki's fine? Yes. Fine."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake 's brow raises a bit. Nikki is acting odd, and not in the normal odd Nikki way, but differently odd. He turns to her fully sandwich left behind for now "Is something wrong hon?"

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki flushes bright red before lowering her head some and scuffing a shoe on the floor. She finally brings the tabloid paper from behind her back and holds it out for Tim. "Nikki swears it isn't true... well... not all of it... Nick -did- walk Nikki home... but the papers make it seem like Nick and Nikki are a thing and we're not because Nikki is with Tim, but they say that too and now Nikki is confused because the paper is lying...."

The Headline Reads : Local Rock Star Continues Annual Holiday Helping With Some Holiday Dessert. Inside the artcile outlines much to-do about Nick Drago's rock life, how he's recently been away filming a movie, and now he's home for the holidays and helping the New Hope Shelter. But near the end of the article it basically reads, 'As Nick headed home for the evening he was seen along side an unknown female. Sources say this same female has also been spotted with Gotham's own Timothy Drake of Wayne Enterprises.' ....

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over the paper, only taking him a moment to read it. He smiles and steps in to give her a hug and hold her close to him. "Hon, I trust you, and the papers are going to say anything they can that they think will sell papers. Remember I told you about paparazzi, if they can make something sound scandlous they will.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki leans into that hug and nuzzles into Tim for a moment, taking a small breath. "Nick was just doing Nikki a favor. Her bus dropped her off in front of the shelter he was working at...and then Nick offered to walk Nikki home so she'd be safe." She offers that and then leans back to lift up and kisses Tim's cheek. "...Nikki does remember. That's what the paparazzi does? They're so mean...Nikki doesn't like it..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake rubs her back softly and says "Sometimes some of them can be ok, but yea some of them can be jerks." He offers her in explanation "Would you like something to eat?" He says still holding her softly.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"They're sneaky too! Nikki didn't even know that people saw her and Tim together.." But, Nikki does manage a little giggle at that. "Though, that kinda felt nice somehow? Being known to have been seen with Tim." Clarifying such and when he asks her about food, she nods. "Nikki could eat."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods and will kiss her again, and then steps away to make her and him a sandwich "They might have figured it out from some of the Blizcon pics, I think we ended up on a few websites for the costumes."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki raises a brow and then considers it and nods. "They really know how to do their research then.." She moves further into the kitchen then and shifts to hop up onto one of the unused counters where she can fit. Watching him making the sandwiches, she just smiles and pulls one leg up to rest her chin on her knee. "So you're really not upset?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks to her, and says "I trust you Nikki, if you wanted to be with someone else you would tell me. And if there was anything you were not telling me, you would do it because you think it is the best if I did not know, not to hide something from me.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki blinks and thinks on things for a moment. "But isn't keeping a secret from someone you love kinda like lying?" She looks over to him then. "And lying isn't good. I don't want to keep secrets from you at all. I haven't kept any secrets from you." She swings her legs a little before reaching over to steal a piece of sliced meat. "Has Tim been keeping secrets from Nikki?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks at her, and says "With what I do there are some things I can't tell you." He admits to her, "But I am not keeping anything from you that has anything to do with my feelings towards you, or how much I care about you." He passes it off as work secrets and in a way it is.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki accepts that, because he has a point. Work related stuff is on a need-know basis to some degree so that she can accept. Even if this particular secret he's keeping isn't -quite- work related. Taking a bite of the stolen piece of meat she grins. "Okay that's fair. Some things with work Nikki can't know." There's a little wiggle then. "So, what plans does Tim have today?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmmms and says "Had bit planned much for today, what about you?" He asks as he finishes making the sandwiches making them with double meat so extra yummy.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki shakes her head. "Not much planned today for myself either. Since it's the holiday season, it seems things are slowing down a bit at work... I might have a tournament to go to soon but I'm waiting to see if our team gets accepted." She explains this much. "If we are, I'll be gone the first full week of December."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmms and nods his head a bit to this and says "Where would you be off to, and will the event be able to be watched either local or on the net?

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki pulls her phone out of her pocket to check her messages and then smiles. "Ah this one is in Glasgow, Scotland. If Tim wants to go and watch live, Nikki can probably get him a ticket. We could maybe make a whole trip out of it?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and says "Would be fun, I might not be able to make the whole event, but if I can come watch some of it, I would like it. Maybe come the last couple days and then we have some time after together as well?

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki smiles. "Yeah! Can watch it from the web too for the first few days. We can work out all the details once Nikki knows if she's going or not." It's likely she IS going, but she doesn't like to put all her eggs in the same basket.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods his head a bit to this and will get them drinks and then sit on the cabinet beside her for breakfast.
