Rogue has posed:
It's a little after the encounter in the woods near the road that leads to the school. Sinister has given Rogue some food for thought, and while she tried her best to figure out just what all that entailed, it seemed to be derailed each time. As she and Logan make it back to his room on school grounds, Rogue is a little on the upset side. She holds it in though, right until they get into the room, the door is shut and she's able to turn and face him. "Can you never, not even once, just let the man speak his piece? You're so wound up that all of this is a bad idea, it's like you're not even seeing where any good can come from it. And it may not even be the end all you think is it if he and others are trying to stop it from happening..." She says this before walking to a window to open, leaning on the ledge and lighting up another cigarette.
Wolverine has posed:
"I was givin' him room to speak," Logan says firmly. He knew this was coming. Just something about Rogue felt off. And when it feels off, the Southern side comes out. She'll never make a public outburst, but she -will- make a private one.

"I just thought his plan was more thought out. It's why I was askin' questions. He may not be right 'bout everything, but everythin' seems plausible. I just wanna know what it takes n' the cost. No more. No less," oh, he knows this is going to be a fight.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue eyes Logan for a moment and then shakes her head. "As opposed to when we first talked about this and you were damn sure that Nathaniel and the others were the ones setting things into motion for it to go bad...like it's all going to be their faults now." Another drag off her cigarette taken and then she looks from Logan to out the window and back again. "If he needs my help in any way you know I'm going to help him right? Ain't nothing or no one going to tell me I can't... cause if it helps put an end to this and makes the world safe again, then I'm going to do it."
Wolverine has posed:
"Fer this I think he's tellin' the truth or mostly true stuff. It's why I had questions darlin'," Logan says to her knowing she wuuld do it. "I wasn't askin' to shoot it down. I was askin' cause it sounds plausible. So, I wanted to know how everythin' connected. Wasn't seein' how the computers n' you means the world is safe. I wanted to know the play," Logan says firmly as he looks at her for a moment. "This wasn't 'bout stoppin' ya. Quite jumpin' the gun."
Rogue has posed:
"I ain't jumpin' the gun. I ain't jumpin' anything. You mean to tell me that all of a sudden some of his science shit makes sense and you think he's got the right play in mind? Why do I sense somethin' fishy about that... cause you don't like Sinister as far as I can throw him..." Rogue offers this much up before looking to the ceiling a moment and then back. "I think he's playin' a card from Doctor Strange's hand. And maybe somethin' about my ability to siphon powers, abilities, and even life from people - probably even things - might be the reason I'm linked to all this somehow. But Logan... you can't keep bein' all wishy washy. I ain't askin' ya to like the guy... hell, I would never... but likin' and trustin' are two different things. And all I'm askin' you to do is trust in him a little more than you've been givin' off that you do. For once, maybe he's got a reason to save humanity that we don't know or understand. I know that if I finally found someone to love and care for, that might give me a reason to do things I wouldn't normally give a shit more about..."
Wolverine has posed:
"Me askin' questions is showin' trust. I don't trust him, but I trust he has reasons to save the world. So, I trust that." Logan looks at her for a moment. He hates that it comes to this, "It's like me asksin' you to trust Mystique. That's why I have an issue. It'd be like you trustin' someone that reminded ya of Mystique by miles. So much so, it rattles ya," Logan will pull out his cigar and then decide against lighting it. "He spoke just like the director that took my memories and stuck tons of metal in my body. Same way. Same everythn'. I ain't gonna thaw any time soon, but I trust in his motives. I trust he has an interest to keep the world spinnin'. Maybe it's love. Maybe it's somethin' else. I don't know, but I'm givin' Fath to his motives," Logan says firmly as he looks at her. He knows she may not be happy to hear it.

"if i didn't trust it, I wouldn't have asked questions. It wasn't to accusre or stop or whatever wild hair ya think I thought. I wanted to know the play, I wanted to know what we do to make the plan work."
Rogue has posed:
Rogue absolutely hates it when Logan makes so much sense of things it deflates the very reason she had in her head to be upset in the first place. There's a sigh, and then she puts out her finished cigarette in the hide away ash tray she has tucked into the building before she finally looks over at Logan. "...Fine. You trust it. Just not him. Great." Letting that out in the defeat that she's feeling in the moment. "Maybe I can try'n figure out just what the plan is. I mean... if it somehow involves me I might as well know, right?" She just won't let out how she's going to figure it out. Logan can come up with ideas of his own and then realize that she's a big girl who can handle herself.
Wolverine has posed:
"What do we say?" Logan sees the anger deflate out of her. "I think he's still figurin' it out. I think he sees yer potential, probably fer reasons ya think. He's just not sure how to make it all work. It's like lookin' at a puzzle when ya first scatter the pieces. Ya know it all goes together, but ya don't know how right away," Logan explains his thoughts on where Sinister is with the plan.

"I'm just wonderin' if you'll need some kinda space suit or somethin'. Yer goin' between worlds, maybe ya'll find a Jamie Howlett n' an Andy Michael in that world," he says because anything could happen.
Rogue has posed:
"Suppose we'll figure all that out as he keeps puttin' the pieces together." Rogue offers with a little shrug, shifting to move from the window after closing it. "You never cease to surprise me you know? That's a good thing. You should keep doing that." And she smiles while moving to approach him. "I may not agree with every stance you take, and it may not seem like I trust you in some ways, but know that I do." Adding that in before she reaches him and leans in to kiss him quick on the cheek before turning to try and step away from him.
Wolverine has posed:
"Least I keep ya on yer toes," Logan smirks at her. He will nod to her words. "There's gonna be a day we disagree n' it's gonna be big," Logan says. "We make a promise right now, we work it out somehow. When all the dust settles, we work on it," because Logan knows that will add some tenson and strain. That's the last thing he wants, but nothing is perfect.

She kisses his cheek and then he will hold her close for a mment. Only after that moment will he let her go.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue raises a brow at the words he says but then she nods her head. "Promise. We'll always work things out..." She says this much and then finds herself held a moment after that kiss before he lets her go. She doesn't go far though, since in that moment she's reminded why she likes being held in his arms. Sure, she's got her own strength but it's different when someone is holding you. So she shifts to lean into him once more, sort of cuddling close while standing up. "What's the likelihood of scoring with you in bed tonight?"
