Date of Scene: 13 March 2024

Synopsis: Alexander gets kidnapped! Okay, not really.
Cast of Characters: Phobos, Black Widow (Romanoff)

Phobos has posed:
"I am starving." Wilson's words were given as he sat down at the table with the rest of the team, punctuated by the clatter of his plastic tray as he set it down, jostling the jello cup on top of it.
The rest of the Tactical Team looked up and smiled. Agent Melnitz grinned crookedly as she made a face, "You're always starving. It's like the first thing you say in the morning, and the last thing you say before you leave for the day."
"Well duh, there are like three meals in a day, it is a recurring starvation."
Which caused some smirks to be seen from around the crew. "You can have my jello if you want, Wilson." Alexander's voice was calm and at ease even as he slid the small cup across the way with the faint sound of plastic scraping on the table.
"See, good to know the only member of our team that cares is Aaron. Thanks, buddy."
Alex lifts his soda in salute.
Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
The petite figure that arrived through the entry door wasn't imposing in the least. She wasn't very tall but she was attractive, in a conventional sort of way. Her red hair was cut short, sort of a boyish style, but there was no mistaking her such. She was definitely a woman with that form. The SHIELD uniform didn't really hide her from view either, tailored perfectly. She scanned the room a moment then made a beeline toward the tactical team at the table. More precisely, toward Agent Aaron at that table.

"Glad to catch you before you finished up," she said by way of greeting before giving a nod to the various others. "Pardon the interruption," she added. Since it was the way to be polite. Then she as looking back at Alexander.

"You've been assigned to me for the next week. A Quinjet is waiting though if you would like to go get some personal belongings, you have time before our flight is scheduled to depart."

She sounded all business. Nothing to give away this was not actually work related. Except one thing. Alexander knew that, due to their relationship, he was never assigned to her. With her perhaps with someone else running an op but he never was under Natasha directly.
Phobos has posed:
It was an interesting social exhibition in a way. Whenever the Black Widow would move into different social circles, through the sphere of interaction between teams and agents. People had noticed it before, commented on it. The way that as soon as she entered their sphere of awareness how SHIELD agents would all tighten up slightly, focus, straighten up. Like an area of effect weapon, the closer people were to her the more professional they presented themselves. It was evident when Wilson had been about to dig into his jello cup and instead he very pointedly picked up his fork and started to chop at his salisbury steak with a very business-like precision. Or when Melnitz sat up a little higher and coughed slightly.
Agent Aaron even wasn't immune to it, for when she approached his back straightened up a little as he lifted his head to meet the Avenger Agent's eyes. "For the week?"
Those three words are all he says at first, but then he nods as she goes on to elaborate. He checks the small display on his wrist as he brings the time to illumination and nods. "I'll be there in fifteen. Gear I have with me should suffice." No hint of warmth in his eyes, pure professionalism.
Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"Seven days. Or maybe eight. Depends on how it goes," she added. Natasha wasn't immune to the effect she caused. She could see the way the people would react. It just still seemed strange to her. Certainly she was a bit more mysterious than most of the agents, she wasn't assigned on a specific tactical squad where that comraderie would developed. She was always the outsider. Throw in her reputation as the Black Widow and an Avenger? It just happened. Much as she might wish to prevent it.

"Do you have your passport?"

It let him know this was not an undercover op of any sort. For if it was, they would provide him with a false identity and all the papers to go with it. Instead, he was going to need his actual passport.
Phobos has posed:
That caused his eyebrows to rise, then he nodded as he pointed at her as if to emphasize the first word he says. "That." A momemnt, "I will have to go get." Since he expected the possibility of going to other countries in an official capacity, and his SHIELD ID would serve for that. Going as himself... that requires a passport.
Again he checks the display on his wrist and says, "I can be back in 30." He's already starting to rise, but just enough for him to... distribute the rest of his food to his tablemates and then slide over toward the tray return.
Most of his squad looks on with open curiousity, though Wilson does lay claim to the errant jello cup by picking it up and putting it on his own tray.
Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
That earned a terse nod from Agent Romanoff. "Thirty minutes. I'll be waiting."

"Pack warm," were her last words to him as she watched him redistribute his food around to the others. THen she turned and walked away even as he was moving to put up his tray. Which is when she spoke to him oh-so-quietly now that they were out of the earshot of his teammates.

"Passport and a bag are in the quin but I wasn't sure if you would want something else. If you wanted to check it first. I'll make myself scarce until closer to time though." She gave him a mischievious grin. "And I really did get permission to take you away for a week. That part wasn't an elaboration."
Phobos has posed:
What the squad saw was Agent Romanoff intercepting him on his way back to the table, and the way she spoke to him so matter-of-factly, it was evident in her body language. They had no inlking about that small grin. And with how they were standing her face couldn't be seen. But his could. So his response was a short nod and then a terse pair of words simply saying, "Roger tthat."
Though back at the table Melnitz pipes up, "They are totally dating."
Wilson and Bauer looks back at her, the two men squinting at each other, then back. "Well, that's the rumor but... I'm not seeing it."
"A woman knows," Agent Melnitz says with feigned sagacity.
Which has Bauer smirking and replying, "Yeah, that's why there are so many single moms running around out there."
"Asshole." Is the simple rejoinder she gives in return.
Though that's the moment when Alexander and Natasha part ways. The young Olympian walking back to scoop up his gear pack from next to his seat. "Alright guys, seeya."
"Seeya, Aaron. Try not to get shot."
    "No promises."
