Cast of Characters: Wolverine, Rogue

Wolverine has posed:
Logan stares at a white board he has in the room. From what he gathered Psylocke's predictiosn sprawled across it. Along with the prophecies she shared, Logan has a couple of the resources he knew about. His ocean blue eyes run over everything.

On his personr ight now is the black and grey X-Force uniform. Honestly, the stealth suit makes him think. It may not fit when he goes on a mission. Just in this moment, it gets Logan thinking in that mentality.

On the whiteboard there is something written that has nothing under it: "Reactions." Because every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Logan's doing his best to not screw with anything well beyond his understanding of things.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue steps into the room from the hallway and stops just a couple more into the room proper. Enough so she can shut the door, but she eyes the whiteboard in the room and then looks over to Logan. "What in the world are you up to now?" Asking this as she looks him over, noting the uniform he's wearing, and then she shifts to head towards the bed. Sitting on the edge, she begins working her shoes and socks off, sporting shorts and a tank top otherwise. It was a hot day out there, even for spring.
Wolverine has posed:
A look goes back toward her, "Tryin' to figure out what Psylocke was palnnin', what we can do if she ain't around, n' how we adapt," Logan says honestly as he looks at the white board. "I ain't the brightest crayon in the box, but I can try," yes, Logan is trying to use his brain on this one. "It's just tryin' to read a friend's thoughts when she was hard to predict," he admits honestly.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue glances over to the board again and then shrugs her shoulders. "If she disappears, then it ain't on our shoulders to fix. Let the devil and his lover sort it all out." She offers, perhaps it's a cold thing to say but she means it. "Psylocke never really gave me much details, and it was Sinister who really roped me in, but he doesn't even need me now. So I'm not really worried about it. The world faces apocalyptic events all the time and each time someone saves the day one way or another....why bother worrying?"
Wolverine has posed:
"When did ya becomea nihilist?" Logan asks, maybe that's the wrong word. However, she does have a point. It doesn't quite catch him offgaurd. It is a little shocking though. His gaze rests on her. "I ain't tryin' to maek it all right, just tryin' to do somethin'," he says not quite at a loss for words. However, he's trying to do his part.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue shrugs. "Tell me I'm lyin'." Saying this and then stands from the bed and walks over to the board. "Either way, you got a scientist genius with a device to find the outcome that will save us, and a literal angel who can put the plan into action. Seriously, what are we even needed for?" Then there's a sigh. "Maybe I'm being a bit bitter, but I feel like all this shit got hyped up and now suddenly it's just sort of fizzled out to letting others handle it. So why worry?"
Wolverine has posed:
"Because we can't trust the scientist and his lover," Logan says. Oh, he feels that bitter sting, too. It feels justified. Oh, Logan understands everything in full. Every littel bit Rogue feels, Logan understands it in spades. "Because what if they neutralize it n' somethin'w worse happens." Logan has his own mistrust of that duo. "They got me worried. Always. One of em' has too much power to a point, it feels like tryin' to box God. No one should have that much sway."
Rogue has posed:
"Do what ya feel like doin' sugah, I'll support ya. But I think I'm takin' my fingers outta the pot, personally." Rogue says this much. Which, at least a part of her, thought that would be a relieving thing for Logan to hear. He wasn't exactly supportive of her joining to begin with. Then she may have proven helpful, then all it was was she gave Sinister an idea. Does this mean she trusts them? No. But she'll save face and act like it until the time comes where she needs to put them in their place. "Well. Lucifer -did- sort of try to box God... if the bible's true and all..."
Wolverine has posed:
"N' he started to sleep wit' someone that wants to be one. Guess people do go fer people like their mothers n' fathers," Logan says quickly. He breathes out, "I'm happy ya ain't gettin' yer hands dirty. I wouldn't have forgiven myself if more blood got on em'," hea dmits. Shaking his head a little bit. "I know ya got yer own trials from the past, but I woulda felt like I did that."
Rogue has posed:
"I know. So I'm supporting you in all this... but from afar... and with a slightly bitter attitude because of how some things turned out." Rogue says this and then slips an arm around his waist. "Also, we owe each other another date night..." Adding that in for now, perhaps to maybe take Logan's mind off the white board for a moment. She also smooches his cheek and then noses his neck. "What else is on your mind?"
Wolverine has posed:
Logan wears his serious face untilt he arms go areound him. Then the expression breaks. "Thinkin' bout that date now," he says and Rogue can tell that his demeanor is thawing. That kiss causes it to give way more. "Thinkin' I want to make ya smile." A hand reaches behind and tries to stroke at her cheek. Yes, Logan is thawing.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue relaxes when she's against him. He may be thawing, but she's practically melting. She leans into that stroke on her cheek and then goes to take any marker he may be holding out of his hand(s) before pushing the white board back a little. "You make me smile all the time, Logan. Believe it or not. Just been a rough few weeks... but we still got each other and that's what counts." Shifting back just a bit. "Imma have a smoke and then maybe... we can cuddle for a bit?"
Wolverine has posed:
The hand strokes at her face, Logan doesn't have a marker, but the white board is easily pushed back. "So, what do we do to make that better?" Loigan asks honestly. And he gives a nod. "Don't wanna lose ya either," Logan gives a soft smile as he watches her for a moment. "I'd like that." He looks at himself in the costume and sometimes he both loves, and hates, that uniform.
Rogue has posed:
"Which means you have about..." Rogue starts as she moves over to her smoking window. "Five minutes. To get out of that uniform and into bed..." Then there's a grin and she props the window open, sitting on the edge, lighting up her cigarette to smoke out the window. "Unless you wanna come join me for a smoke yourself... but either way that uniform needs to come off. I can almost feel how uncomfortable it makes you..."
Wolverine has posed:
Logan nods about the discomfort. His gaze focuses on her and he starts to pull off the gloves. Tossing one aside, then the other. A smirk pulls at his lips. He moves to undo the boots. Taking those off, only then will he begin to join her for a smoke. "Why ya so good to me?" hea sks honestly and pulls out a cigar.
Rogue has posed:
"Because, through both our lifetimes, so few people have been." Rogue answers honestly and then smiles. "Also because, for some reason, I love you. And you deserve to have someone be good to ya every once in a while." THis is all she says before taking a drag off her cigarette, blowing the smoke outwards. "I mean, I could ask you the same thing, but I feel like I might get the same answers..." Still. "But I'll bite. Why ya so good to me?"
Wolverine has posed:
Logan readies the cigar and strokes a stick match. "Ya deserve it. Ya deserve someone to treat ya right," he says honestly and he shrugs. "'N I'm one of the few people that can see the obvious," he shrugs a little bit. Then takes a few puffs of the cigar. A smirk pulls at his lips. "Also, ya liked it when I said 'nothin' between us 'cept air n' opportunity.'" A small chuckle comes from him.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue gives a soft laugh at the last thing Logan points out. "It was a clever thing to say, especially considering it is also true. I don't know about the whole deserving it part - at least on my end. I don't think I deserve much..." She admits this openly, flicking ashes before taking another drag off her cigarette. "I know we've had our moments, both good and bad... but I love you and I am lucky to be with someone like you."
Wolverine has posed:
"It was honest," he says about the words. Rogue talks about them having their moments and he has to agree. They have. "Long as ya don't mind comin' back to me," in his mind she's the one with the class and civility between them. The only time Logan shows class is in Japan and he knows it. And even then it's not all the time. Rogue has the southern hospitality down to an art.
Rogue has posed:
"I always come back to you..." Rogue offers. Though in what ways she means it isn't spoken of, but she does look out the window after a moment to flick ashes and then takes another drag. She's actually not sure what else to say at this point so she just finishes her cigarette, putting it out once she's done and then slips back into the room, further moving so she can sit on the edge of the bed.
Wolverine has posed:
Logan will stop her from moving to the bed and he kisses her, deeply. It's something words cannot say. There's no restraint. However, this is not a kiss of lust, or desire. The tongue stays at bay, but Logan is putting everything he can into that kiss. Wanting her to just know how he feels in the heart.
Rogue has posed:
Rogue is caught before she can move to the bed and pulled into that kiss. A kiss that she returns with all she can muster to give. Her arms shift to lift up and wrap around his form while her head tilts just so. It's a meaningful thing, and could lead to something good or nothing at all depending...
Wolverine has posed:
Feeling those arms wrap around him, Logan tries to deepen the kiss. His own body turning as they kiss. While Logan meant to go toward the bed. Apparently Rogue's kiss doesn't steal his powers, but they do rob his sense of direction. Before long Logan's leading her to the wall right next to the door. He's not stopping that kiss just because her back presses against a wall.

Logan would break the kiss to whisper, "Not sorry," whether it's about the kiss or the wall, he's not going to tell.
